I returned to Moss Harbor, determined to find answers about my mother's death. But all I've managed to uncover are three lonely souls calling out to mine.

In just a month, Leo, Hayle, and Tristin Sharpe have wound themselves around my heart, reminding me of what I've been missing. I want them back in my life for good, but I should have known that maintaining a friendship with three tempting brothers could never be simple.

Leo is intent on wooing me, Hayle keeps drawing me in with his quiet support, and Tristin is doing his level best to push me away. All the while, their father lurks behind the scenes, manipulating us all.

I don't want to play into Vincent's hand, but I'm starting to realize it may be the only way to stay in the game.

**Heartless is the second book in the Lonely Souls trilogy, a contemporary reverse harem inspired by the characters of The Wonderful Wizard of Oz.

Heartless was so good!!! Tristin definitely redeemed himself, but really, Hayle and Leo did, too. Finally, I got to see three brothers working together for the girl they love, not just house-mates or enemies. Thea has proven to be the glue that sticks them all together and keeps them close. Their past, present, and future are unraveling and revealing dark secrets and deals and mysteries, but also a lot of love. I hope they can stick together to solve Thea’s mom’s mystery, but at the same time, gain so much more friendship and love and peace at the end. This book was even better than the first book in this series and I seriously can’t wait for the next book to come out so I can see what happens next!! The ending of this book was so good and has left me wanting so much more! I really love this series and I’m enjoying The Wizard of Oz theme, too! But I also loved catching a cross-over of Autumn Reed’s Risking It series when Hayle mentioned Cole Reid!!! I highly recommend this series! It’s captivating and thrilling and suspenseful, with the perfect amount of humor and romance!

Thea has only been back in Moss Harbor for a short while. She came back to discover answers surrounding her mother's death but it's turning into so much more. She's brought life back into Sharpe Manor and salvaged the closeness the brothers once held. She's given them a reason to care. Leo has found his courage with his love for Thea and now it's time for Tristin to prove that he has a heart.

I loved Leo's book; I love the new Leo, open and putting his heart on the line for Thea. However, Tristin is my favorite. Cruel Tristin resonates with pain. His damages soul draws me in. Each time he pushed Thea away, I wanted her to fight harder to pull him in. Everything about him appeals to me. Simply states, he is hot. Hayle also opened up more this time around exposing his insecurities. Each layer stripped away from these brothers makes me fall a little more for them.

This book was an emotional ride. Deliberate cuts, accidental wounds, confessions, and revelations. The curtain is slowly being drawn back on Oz. Beware, the ending will get you. You could feel the tension mounting and you had an idea where it was heading but then it catches you off-guard and the danger is real. I can't wait until the next book I look forward to Hayle's enlightenment and I need to unravel the mystery.

Heartless is the second book in a contemporary (non-paranormal) new adult reverse harem series that has cute homages to The Wizard of Oz. I read books one and two back-to-back and they were exactly what I needed at the time. I enjoyed the drama between the brothers and that the romances between Thea and each hero goes at different paces. The underlying mystery that started in book one is super easy to figure out even in book one but comforting in that way, plus it is interesting to see how the characters will figure it out. In some ways there is not enough depth for me to say I LOVED it, but again, it was exactly what I was looking for at the time so it worked out really well for me. There are just a handful more errors than book one but overall it is far and away written and edited better than most RH books, which made it SO relaxing for me to read, and added to my enjoyment in reading. I'm really looking forward to the third (and I think, final) book coming out by the end of this month.

I knew it - kinda spoilery

It'll be interesting to read the third book to get more concrete details but around the time in book 1 when Thea went to study group for the first time I thought to myself this person seems suspicious... I wonder. And other details reinforced that . And then end of book 2 seems to be confirming that!!

I would much prefer if this book didn't have the mystery element of who killed her mom. I feel like the mystery aspect of it is half-assed. I don't hate mystery-romance books when they are done correctly.... and here it just seems out of place.

Este libro no me dió nada, se me hizo aburrido en varias partes y siento que no avanza la historia.
Todo el asunto se pudo haber resuelto en un solo libro, no había necesidad de hacer una trilogía.

This second installment of the Lonely Souls picked right up where we left off in book 1. What a roller coaster this book is putting me through. I am so deeply in love with all 3 brothers. We see how much Thea cares about and connects with all of the brothers. I am enjoying the mystery surrounding her Mom's death. We are left with a cliffhanger (I had suspected this person for some time) and I can see a lot more obstacles for these 4 in the future.

I have received an ARC for my honest review.

I loved this book, I read it within 24 hours of having it in my Kindle library. It’s a great second book for this series. I wasn’t quite sure what to expect, but the things I assumed were a given definitely were not. Reed did a spectacular job on Heartless. I truly felt for Thea and I cannot wait for the next installment! I will warn you there is quite the cliffhanger in this one. I couldn’t decide if I loved or hated Reed for this.

Following the yellow brick road.... Leads to a cliff hanger at the end of book two !

Is there any way I can receive an early copy of book three? I'm feeling like a junkie needing a bit right now !!! Ok so I'm loving the relationship between Tristin and Leo but my heart is reaching out for Hayle to be the main focal point in the next book, I got a thing for the underdogs. He just seems like a sad defeated always the last to be thought of guy but he's the hardest working and the most devoted one, he's already accepted that he doesn't stand a chance. It'd be nice to see the heroine fight for him. That would put an interesting spin on things. This is is a freaking genius read with clever wording that references the timeless classic story of " The Wizard of Oz " , as if the three boys named weren't a big enough hint. That is about as far as this series goes with the similarities though, or I feel that my childhood favourite movie would have been .... Well still a favourite, but for a while other reason entirely... Off you haven't already started this series, I challenge you to do so. This author is an incredibly talented writer with a refreshing view into a genre that seems redundant in the story line lately. Add I sadly have to wait for book three to release I'll just kick up my ruby slippers and re-read the way Oz should have been written about in the very beginning 😉

Only getting better. I applaud Autumn for her great story line and awesome writing.
Okay, so, the guys. There's so much chemistry between Thea and the guys. I wish they weren't acting like douche canoes half the time 😂

Holy Hell in a hand basket!!! Aaaaahhhhhhh ok that might help, NOT OMG I am screaming in my head right now, Why oh Why was this book so freaking amazing and why did it end that way. I turned the page and literally yelled What the Hell.......I need so much more!! This series is so so good. I love the ties to Oz so much, they make me smile every single time!!! The story is so good and the boys, yeah just yum!! Autumn you beautifully answered so many questions and then made me ask a dozen more, just like any amazing author is supposed to do, weave awesome worlds for me to love and devour. Mission accomplished - Leo and Tristin and Hayle OH MY, I really wanna click my ruby slippers 3 times and jump right back to the Sharpe boys as quick as I can. Can't wait for more, it will Definitely be a horse of a different color!!

I didn't know what to expect after book one in this trilogy, but I can tell you it was not this roller coaster ride (although, I feel like I should have expected it.)

We pick up right where we left off in Spineless, and you're thrown right back into the crazy, for lack of a better word. Throughout this book, you see a different side of Leo (one that I really love), way more of Hayle (who I want to just wrap in a blanket and steal away from the world), and continue to pull for poor Tristin who is just a wreck, but one that you want to succeed. It's a lot of angst, a lot of emotion, and a lot of mystery, wrapped up in an epic little love story. Thea also doesn't fall into the trap a lot of romance heroines do, where they try to keep everything to themselves and solve all of the problems on their own. She uses the boys, and communicates with them; she's honest and realizes she's not alone in this crazy world and situation. It's honestly refreshing, and I love how Autumn Reed uses that to her advantage in moving the story along and strengthening the relationships between the characters.

And this cliffhanger?! Probably even better than the first, because I honestly don't know what's going to come next, or how a certain boy will survive it. It's going to be a wild ride and I cannot wait.

Heartless is a great follow up to Spineless. The mystery and suspense we encountered in book one continues to unfold in book two. We see character growth, not only with Thea, Tristin, Hale, and Leo, but with the secondary characters as well. Sometimes the secondary characters are left to fend for themselves and do not really add much to the plot, but the author did a great job of enhancing their storyline and simultaneously impacting Thea's story as well.

The only part I was a bit on the fence about involves the male characters and their relationship development with Thea. It seems like this book focuses on one of the guys more so than having a mutual relationship with all three. I'm not sure if the intent is to focus on one specific guy in each of the three books, but it made me wonder about the RH aspect. Although I know it is RH, it didn't quite feel that way.

With this being said, I still give Heartless a 5-star review because the plot developed wonderfully, kept me engaged the entire time, and I appreciated the "oh wow, I didn't see that coming" revelation at the end of the book. I am definitely looking forward to reading the final installment and can't wait to have my questions answered! Needless to say, I highly recommend Heartless!

I am loving how this series is turning out to be. I will say that I am so happy that they are finally looking into how Thea's mother died again since it really wasn't talked about in the first book all that much. I am enjoying how the investigation is going along and how well they all are working together in order to find out. The only "complaint" I would have about this one is that there weren't as many Wizard of Oz references in this one compared to the first one, which wasn't to much of a big deal but I really did enjoy them popping up throughout the first book. I am also really proud of how much the guys grew during this book, while it might seem a bit quick since it was only a couple of months that Thea was there it seemed very natural or rushed in anyway. Leo was also a bit of a shocker on how he wanted his relationship with Thea and his brothers to go, which I kinda wasn't expecting him to be the one to open that discussion but I did like that it was him, it showed how much he grew since the very first time we saw him till the very end of this book. Overall this was a great book and I really can't wait to see what happens next especially with that ending.

Thea and the boys are back with more mystery, more drama, and a ton more angst! As you know by the title, each book focuses on a certain character. The first, Spineless, focused more so on Leo. In Heartless, the main focus seems to be on...you guessed it, Tristin! Oh man, I love the boy but dang if he doesn’t make Thea work to get past his walls. At times I was frustrated with him and his brothers but I should have known better and trusted Reed. She knows what she’s doing! It was nice to see a softer side of Leo and how Theas relationships with all the guys are all progressing. While Vincent remains as shady as ever. Without giving too much away, just know the ending is a major “what the heck” moment! I know I was shocked when I read it! I thought I was beginning to unravel the mystery but Reed throws in one wicked curve ball! The ending is such a dramatic cliff I instantly wanted part 3! Which, should be coming out pretty soon (thank gosh)! All in all this was a great continuation to the series and I highly recommend. ARC read for honest review.

I absolutely loved this. Autumn sure does know what she is doing. I really enjoyed book one, and it seems Autumn really stepped it up for book two. Heartless was so good, and I think that this series is becoming my favorite of hers.

I am so happy to see that the boys Hayle, Leo and Tristan are finally getting a long. I know that they have had some issues to work through but I have been waiting for this moment. You can tell that they love each other and have been through a lot and see the bond that could be there. Well they are finding it, and it is due to Thea. She is literally the glue that brought them together and I am a super fan. I love her, she is so grounded and exactly what they boys need. Now that they can work together they can try to figure out about Thea's mom.

I really have enjoyed this series very much, I enjoy the Wizard of Oz theme. I would highly recommend this series.

Review for books 1 & 2:

Fun. Kind of reminded me of Tijan's Fallen Crest series (first: Fallen Crest High) and Erin Watt's Royals series (first: Paper Princess) - girl enters boy household, romantic interested in at least one of the boys, boys plus girl are a united team against the world.

I have enjoyed so far. Set up at the end of book 2 you could see a mile coming, but we'll see where she goes with it in book 3. Not a new favorite author, but it was good enough that I'll read the next book.

I'm really enjoying this series. You can tell because I read the first one fairly recently instead of, you know, saving it for ten years like I have a tendency to do.

My favorite thing about Autumn Reed's writing is that she makes me believe the events in this book could really happen. Sure, there's glitz and glamour, and maybe because this isn't a real academy book, I completely buy that Thea is getting an education. I also really liked how, in this contemporary setting, it took basically until the end of this book for everyone to figure out an RH is what they wanted, which feels right.

I love Thea. I love the deepening mysteries. I love how different and compelling the guys are. I also enjoy spotting the Wizard of Oz references throughout.

Now on to the final book, when I will be very sad this series is ending!

Freaking awesome! I have read all the books Autumn has ever written and published. I love her style of writing and this is yet another amazing book by an awesome author. This is book 2 and you'll need to have read book 1 Spineless in order to understand. I love how the story continues for Thea and her guys. She knows she wants the guys back in her life and that she has missed out on love if you will. One is trying to woo her, the other is pushing her away, not wanting to interfere with his brothers love life and the last one is reeling her in with his kindness and he listens to her. What an emotional ride this book was. Highly recommend.

Twists, turns, and suspense, oh my!

The twists and turns keep coming in this series and I’m here for it. Like the last book, I’m missing the steam, but I really enjoy the characters that Autumn Reed creates.

“Ice water must run through your veins, because you, Tristin Sharpe, are heartless.”
— Heartless: Lonely Souls Book 2 by Autumn Reed

I really like Thea. I like her loyalty and her determination. And the guys. The Wizard of Oz is one of my favorites, so this retelling makes my heart happy in all the best ways.
But the suspense is absolutely killing me, lol, and so while I don’t want the series to be over, I’m dying to finish it and have my answers!

Um okay so this book had a lot of drama between Leo, Tristin, Hayle, and Thea and their relationship kind of changed when Leo and Thea got together into a relationship, the other two wanted her badly and Tristin even stopped coming to the house and rather stayed on the boat and Hayle just ignored her for as long as he could until he couldn’t take it anymore. At the ball, when Thea got into a car accident Tristin’s personality changed like it took her nearly dying for him to grow up like what an ass. Um so is Lily the one who killed Thea’s mother? So I rated this a 4/5 and the smut was steamy and angsty so also a 4/5.

Ooooooo this book had me on tender hooks with the feeling that something unexpected was coming and boy was I right! That ending has me desperate to know what’s going to happen and see how things turn out!

Thea, Leo, Tristin and Hayle have all be went through so much in this book with their thought, feeling, opinions and views on events and people around them and your heart goes out to them all. There are secrets that need to be uncovered, surprise twists, unexpected guests and lots of emotions running throughout this book!

Looking forward to the next book! Loving this series!

Book 2 in Autumn Reed's Lonely Souls series did not disappoint. While Spineless left us on a cliffhanger, Heartless picks up right where it left off. As I mentioned in my review of Spineless, we're able to see elements and themes of the original Wizard of Oz/The Wonderful Wizard of Oz, something that I personally love picking up on. Reed kept the originality of the first book and added new and interesting plot and question points to this book and book 3 promises to be just as unique. I personally cannot wait to see where Thea and the Sharpe boys end up.

Oh my Cliff. Hanger.

Book 2 of this series sees some beautiful character development for Thea. We get a look at a different side to each Sharpe brother too. Then Throw in some blackmail, some secrets, an accident and a few teasers leaving you
needing more and here you have it! I definitely recommend this book. A brothers harem with an almost step sister. Throw a male bestie in, that secretly wants you and a female bestie that demands attention and love and loyalty with her craziness. Moss Grove is the place to be.

Anticipation Is Killing Me

I can’t wait to read the 3rd book. I had an idea at the end of the first book who might be behind Amber’s murder and this ending left me pretty positive I’m right. But now I have more questions about Vincent and how he’s involved. Aside from that, her feelings for the boys have increased and I can’t wait to see how Leo and Tobias’s “idea” turns out. Another suspenseful read and the ending was a big cliffhanger that left me writing this review as fast as possible so I can start the next book.
