Die dickköpfige Fürsprecherin

Rate this book

Disappointment is never a word to be uttered from a Sarah Noffke book, and The Stubborn Advocate is no exception. Fast paced, funny and highly entertaining are only a few words to describe this book. The pages are filled with new monsters and revelations. It is so much fun, and I just can't wait for book 7!

Oh no Alder what are you playing at. Not the egg. Alder is becoming quite the villian, I wonder what he or his father actually wants. Love the New king and the fun that brings and the chicken ...what's up with that? Liv never has an easy day, I wonder what is up for her next and the father time twist is good. I like it.

WOW, quick read, bummer cause now I'm caught up...what to do💬

Great book, really beyond great. So now that I'm caught up I need to move along to all the other great books I have stashed from some other great writers, Including some of Sarah, Martha's etc, other great books. When I move that stack hopefully Sarah will have a few more treats to read.
Sarah you have truly become one of my favorite writers, your character development, story twists make your books so much fun to read. Keep them coming. Peace

How can the book be over? I don't understand how it got read so fast .... Was this one shorter?
I loved this one, pretty much better than the last 2.... I do not want the series to end .... I am hoping Sophia will have her own stories (@sarah noffke .... Please note, multiple books please!), And i want some excitement for Rory and some romance for Liv (just because i want to see how Sarah would twist this one!) .... And please do not kill off Mrs. Lauren!!! Like please!!! And if you would be so kind, don't kill indikos either.... I love the idea (again i wonder how Sarah will pull it off) of a little dragon kicking some wicked magician ass!!!!

P.S. I love Sarah Noffke (on my wishlist is to meet her someday over coffee and use a time pausing remote ;) )

I also don't mind reading more about the other warriors and counsellors.... Like what's happening with them outside that room ?
Basically, I don't want this series to end. Also, could you write faster please?! Waiting a month is just too long!!!!

Another excellent read in the series! Clearly building to an epic battle as alliances are formed, secrets are revealed and characters grow into their power. Looking forward to the next!

Amazing!!

Can I just say YES!!! Talk about answering mysteries from the last book while creating more at the same time! The plot is thickening and we get more character development from Liv the main character. I also see some slight forshadowing for Sophia to get her own series and I’m itching to see how Adler will react to his new change in status!

Hidden memories

This is a really good series. Magical creatures, fabulous characters, magic, and mystery. Liv is the ultimate kick ass heroine. Adler a juicy villain to hate. Great snarky dialog. I recommend this clean series to everyone.

Liv is getting close, so so close to finding all the answers she needs. I love how each of the books in this series are a great contained novel on their own with a mystery or adventure to be solved, but it's slowly adding to the bigger picture, and it's bigger than the Council!
Of course Liv beats everything Adler throws at her, but it's the way she does it that makes the story. Relationships are everything and this book shows how far her friendships have come, we are also learning more about Sophia, Liv's little sister - she is as kick ass as Liv and I can see a spin-off series of Sophia's adventures as she gets older!

More!

I was so enthralled in this story, it was a shock to my system to turn (flip) the page and find it was done. For now. Gah! There are so many things I need the answers to! The only spoiler I will mention is that there is a chicken as part of the story and finding out her name is high on my list of mysteries to be solved. So, Sarah, please, pretty please come out with the next installment soon?

A great read..

The story continues with tougher challenges coming thick and fast. This is certainly a page turner. I do like the Liv Beaufont character, her irreverence is charming. Adler and his ilk are gorgeously detestable and provide the perfect foil. It’s well worth reading the series, it’s managed to maintain its quality well, so far.

Wonderful!

Great addition to the story. I can’t wait to see what the chicken does. LOL

The plot is coming along wonderfully and really thickening. I look forward to see what happens next. It’s really hard to write reviews without spoilers. I will say, please start at the beginning. This should really be read from start to finish as it makes more sense that way.
The character development is well done. It happens at just the right pace.

Wow!

Things are really hotting up for Liv, and it's getting to the point where she needs to visit the places that hold all her happiest, and saddest, memories.

She also has to attend her Fae friend, Rudolph's Coronation, as she had helped him to defeat the evil Queen Visa.

She also needed to spend more time with her young sister, Sophia, and to start her training, so that, no matter what, Sophia could defend herself!

But, first, she needs to defeat a nest of Vampires - a nest that Adler deliberately made possible, in order to deflect her attention, and in order to kill her.

But, in order to do that, she needs the help of Father Time, who is only willing to help her, if she does a favour for him!

Where she can find the time for anything else, she doesn't know, but she's determined to give it all her best!

Every book in this series, so far, has been rich in character and plotline, and each time I start to read another book, I learn more about Liv, her life, and those of her family and friends and, for an admitted loner, Liv certainly has managed to gather plenty of them!

I really love that, while her friends look out for Liv, she is just as determined to improve everything she can for them.

That wonderful unselfishness that she brings to every friendship, not only changes and improves her life, but also the friends that she helps, too - often transforming their lives in ways that she, herself, hadn't expected. brightens up the books wonderfully, and I'm now totally addicted to reading those wonderful books, by Sarah thanks

So, yet another book is ended, but I'm happy to start on the next in the series - Book seven: The Unrelenting Fighter!

This is such fun, not knowing, nor bring able to guess, just what Liv will do next!

I'll catch you on the flip side . . .

The plot thickens and the anticipation builds in this sixth book in the Unstoppable Liv Beaufont series. There seems to be threats at every turn, and the challenges Liv faces become far more dangerous as well. The friendships and alliances she has formed have become deeper and stronger, and I just love the dynamics between Liv, Rory, Rudolf, Stefan and Sophia. The humour, sarcasm, interactions and camaraderie are brilliant. Developments in Sophia’s life are both exciting, heartwarming and scary at the same time. Adler Sinclair’s vileness and cruelty seemed to expand with each book, but we are now starting to see some fear and uncertainty in him, as things are escaping his control and he may be in just as much danger as everyone else. I am enjoying how the authors gives you multiple individual stories expertly interwoven into a much the bigger plot that she is slowly revealing with each new book.

Good

Liv’s tasks list is getting longer, mostly because a certain evil council member has let loose something the warriors defeated years before.
That’s ok though, because Liv has connections…

This serialized story continues with Liv dealing with the things Adler and the council throw at her.
She doesn’t know everything just yet, but she’s on the trail. The reader, however, is given a glimpse behind the scenes and discovers a little more about the motivation behind some events.

Liv makes some important connections along the way, which is something she has been doing all along, and guest appearances from favourite characters abound, including a certain Fae king (whose intellect seems to be on the decline).

Another enjoyable installment in this ongoing series for urban fantasy fans.

I'm really enjoying this series so far. The books are consistently entertaining. They have the right dose of humor, mystery, action, politics, and character growth for each installation. Our heroine, Liv is hilarious and snarky, though sometimes her banter with Rudolf is OTT. I also love that Liv constantly learns from her shortcomings and inherently understands the value of receiving help from others while also doing her part in the grand scheme of things. I love her relationships with her family and growing circle of friends/acquaintances. I love that her powers continue to improve at a steady pace. Most importantly I really appreciate that with each book, we're actually getting closer to solving the overarching puzzle of the God Magician and the House of Seven. Now onto the next book!

This series gets better and better

Liv and Plato ride again. More evil is thrown at Liv but that is almost a subplot to both Liv and Rory's mission and the big over-arching story of the mortals and magicians. This, in my opinion, was the best book so far. Once I started reading I couldn't put it down hence I'm posting this review at 5.46, who needs sleep? The story moves on rapidly and we increasingly get to know the characters, Rory is such a sweetheart and the fae a loon. It has taken a little bit of a detour with Rory's gift and more mad chicken antics to come. If you like your urban fantasy with a real story and not people have sex every two mins this is for you. Give it a whirl but these have to be read in order.

The only problem I have with this series is how short each story is. And my favorite is the humor, believe it or not. I have to try and laugh quietly so as to not disturb my roommate. This is not always easy. For example, I loved liv’s interaction with the chicken, if u don’t know what I’m talking about go read the book;) I’m also getting more and more invested in Liv’s friends and sister. (And I recently discovered her sister has her own series, thank goodness). The final moment where Liv had many great reveals and carefully planned these reveals to most annoy Adler was amazing. This is a fun, light read with friendship at its core. And pretty much no romance, except maybe a hint, which has been a relief.

The Hits Just Keep Coming

There's so much I find myself appreciating with the Unstoppable Luv series. It begins with the writing - pace and tone - and continues with character development, and culminates in plot and universe development. It's this to which my title truly refers, because it's the case throughout Advocate. There's so much we see come into clarity (while still, critically, holding plenty in reserve) that it feels like a series of real blows, and that's all the way up to and including a real cliffhanger of an ending (the first proper one, but I suspect far from the last).

Rating: 4.9/5 (series is shaping up so very well I'm tempted to give a full perfect 5, and yet still has a great deal to go and I feel compelled to leave it room for further growth)

Adler is having trouble keeping Liv from finding out about the god-magician Talon, but Talon’s power is growing too strong. So, Talon orders him to assign her an impossibly dangerous mission. Her mission turns into one of those one domino things that leads from one thing into another as she keeps having to make promises to do something in order to get the previous thing done.

The main series plot is really building to a head with lots of significant discoveries, important alliances and interesting challenges.

Fave scenes: Liv handling the bratty family, chasing the remote, finding Papa Creola and Liv reporting the Council.

Another fun adventure with Liv. She outreaches to Father Time/ Papa Creola for support to take out a resurgence of vampires before they spread. This leads to interesting changes to the council and gives Rory and Liv quality time together. There is a theme of following one's own path different to the rest of the crowd and the loneliness of the path sometimes. Also to be an advocate for your friends, both for Rory and the same for Rudolph who is coronated at King of the Fae and needs some advising.

I'm excited by the more systemic changes Liv is making as she builds relationships outside of the magicians. Looking forward to reading more.

Good book with some inconsistencies in the storyline.

I still enjoyed the series very much and I enjoyed this book as well. There is some problems I am finding though it should not take six books for Lib to find out that her parents were actually murdered. Edwin Labe is talking to her sister about something being stolen she should know why it was stolen, because of the prophecy which she knows about. Besides those little inconsistencies I still enjoyed the humor the banter and action of the series it is well worth reading.

Another great installment!

Who knew I would meet a special chicken, get to see Rory all spiffied up, witness a fae coronation, and go on a couple of kickass adventures all in one book? Ok, I need there would be great adventures because Miss Nofke and Mr Anderle are writing about Liv, but the rest added to it makes this a very fun read. There are a couple of big moments I didn't mention but wanted to leave the best for you to discover!!

Adler continues to attempt to send Liv to her death in more difficult missions. And there is an Emperor like (Star Wars reference) being that is behind the plots.
Little sis Sophia is also growing into her power, almost as if she had a series of her own on the horizon.
More personal growth for Liv, Ro & John. The humor is strong in this book. I found myself cracking up as I read some of the hijinks.

Another wonderful Luv Beaufont story

So much to Love in this story. The friendship between Luv and Rory and his willingness to open up to her. And Rolf listening to advice from Luv and actually viewing it. And Father Time actually getting a conscious and deciding to be who he should be. Luv has more influence than she knows.

Addictive.

Not only does Liv Beaufont carry out her missions as given to her by the Council she also continues to investigate her familie’s deaths and the imbalance in the Council. The series is lightened by Liv’s irreverent sarcasm but also shows depth with the philosophical musings that Liv has.
Extremely enjoyable for the young of all ages.
