It’s different for me to put this book into certain genre. This book is based in fantasy, action, thriller and mythology genre. These all genres are my favourite. So I loved the concept of the book. The book has catchy cover. It’s a huge book but I will try to summarise the blurb briefly so that you can get idea about it. Indian Army Captain Abhinav Trivedi and his commanding officer Major Ravi are the lead characters of the story. They were on a mission to protect Indian post on Siachen Glacier. Due to certain events, they entered in another realm called Urdhav Lok. Here they are identified as different persons. Nandan Van is a part of Urdhav lock and Abhinav is addressed as Panini by Brahmarishi Sanatkumar. Read the book to unfold further plot. I liked how author has combined two different world into one book. I liked the concept of other world and especially Panini the most. I liked the supernatural touch or mystic touch to the story. There are number of twists and turns that makes the plot interesting. It’s indeed a page turner. I really appreciate the imagination of the author. Nicely crafted and narrated the plot. It’s like watching a nice movie. And ending was unexpected for me. I liked the mythological touch and all the characters those are incorporated in the plot. The narration style of the author is captivating. Author has used good vocabulary and language. Overall good one. Recommended from my side. I am eager to read more from the author.

‘O God, I am confused. I am insecure, and my mind is restless. I must understand you; I must see you directly! Be merciful. Help me and show me the way, my Lord.’

“Yoga is union! The union of the soul with the Absolute. And a Yogi must breach the boundaries of the physical world to experience the Absolute. Panini, a Yogi is the absolute master of his mind. Your destiny is to be a true Yogi!”

When Captain Abhinav Trivedi, a covert Special Force officer sent on a recon mission to Siachen, helps Major Ravi Chandra and his Ladakh scout in regaining the Bana Post, an avalanche propelled both of them into a cave, where Abhinav discovered an ancient monolith buried in an icy crevasse which teleported them to Nandanvana, located in the upper worlds of Srishti.

There Sanat Kumara, the enigmatic mind-born son of the Creator and his disciples welcomed them and informed that Abhinav is destined to become an ancient legend – the ‘Yogi warrior’ - Panini who will vanquish the Adharma in this era. But to fight the unknown enemy, he must embark on a spiritual journey that will make his mind the final weapon against his adversary.

Meanwhile, an ancient rishi had awoken from his cosmic slumber in the caves of the Uttarakhand, when due to a cloud burst the entire region was devasted by a flash flood. He is after a portal that will open the doors of the netherworld and release the forces of Adharma. Will Abhinav able to became Panini and stopped him??

‘All of them - Devas, Asuras, and Humanity, are beneath me! I am not less than any God - as worthy of being worshiped as them. Anyone who thinks otherwise is not fit to be alive.’

🆁🅴🆅🅸🅴🆆:

❄️The cover with Abhinav and Ravi standing ready in their battle mode was eye-catching and the title goes well with the theme.

❄️The author had immaculately crafted the plot of this book by blending the contemporary characters with the mythological world with lots of twists and turns which makes the story engaging and share some wisdom from Shrimad Bhagavad Gita, the Upanishads, and the Puranas.

❄️The author's writing is lucid and the language used is simple. The spacing of the book is fast except in the middle where sometimes it flatters. The detailed description of the topography and enigmatic mythical creatures and the use of ‘Akasha’ - the fifth element in the action scenes makes it more interesting to read

❄️Although Abhinav is the main protagonist, Ravi and Gayatri stole all the lamplight. Abhinav surely made a grand entry, but in most of the book, he was either in a coma or traveling in other's memories. Further Ravi's character change after the transportation felt rushed and his romance with Gayatri was unconvincing.

❄️The ending felt sudden and abrupt, but that can be understandable since it going to be a series. The final face-off between Good and Evil is yet to come which increases my eagerness to read the next book.

Overall Punarbhava was an exciting read for me. If you like mythological thrillers like Harappa Series by Vineet Bajpai, then you will also like this book.

‘Punarbhava- The Rise of the Legend of Panini’ by Dr Ashutosh Jain is a story which has and includes all the elements like Mystery, Thriller, Fiction, Fantasy, Mythology, and much more, thereby making this a very enjoyable and exciting experience for the readers.

The plot of the book begins in Siachen, the second-largest glacier in the world and also the world’s highest active battlefield. We see the lives of the soldiers that are doing everything they can to protect and giving their best for the country. This lays as a basis for introduction of our Main Protagonist of the book, Captain Abhinav Trivedi.

By the stroke of magic or destiny, Abhinav and his commanding officer, Major Ravi are transported into another era, and thus begins their journey of embarking on a mission that will make them rethink about everything they have known till now and will change their lives forever.

Creating an alternate universe, especially with such an array of different characters is quite a difficult job, yet the author has managed to do this seamlessly in this story.

The style of writing of the author and the presentation of the plot is done in such a way that it will grip the attention of the readers and will keep you hooked to the book.

This ends on a major cliffhanger, and I am sweating bullets as to when I can get my hands on the next book and read more about the beautiful creation. I am going to give this book FIVE PANINI STARS ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

“Punarbhava’ might make you believe that magic and adventure is a part of us. It urges you to get lost in a realm where an alternate reality surges with ecstasy. In this riveting blend of mythology, thrill, fantasy and magic—Ashutosh Jain presents to us a book that entertains us ceaselessly.

In the slow-clad mountains of Siachen, Captain Abhinav and Officer Ravi suddenly find themselves teleported into a land of enchantments, quite beyond the reach of the mortal vicinity. They emerge in the land of Nandanvan—the pleasure garden of the Gods, a terrain of magic, illusions and fantasy. Finding themselves among spiritual godly beings like rishis, yogis and ferocious creatures, the brave warriors must lend a hand to fight an unknown enemy who threatens doom. Abhinav must embark on a journey that will take him to the depths of his soul and legend—the ‘Yogi warrior’—Panini. But in the due course, he is severely wounded by some mystical evil creature and it is up to Major Ravi and the yogini Gayatri to venture out to the fabled land of Gandharva Loka to find a remedy. As the adventure slowly unfolds, the enemy of the Gods loom large before everyone. In this epic clash between the dark, evil forces and the righteous holiness—what secrets will emerge? Will Abhinav and Ravi prove to be useful in their quests?

The author utilizes his mind-boggling expertise in crafting a tale that engulfs us into a state of surprises and revelations. Each of the pages has a mystery waiting for us—the kind of mysteries that makes you want to go on and on, wanting to never end. He ignites our curiosity, plays with our perceptions and we get fascinated very ably.

The story unfolds in the hilly mountains of Siachen, where an army operation is getting dangerously executed. Within no time, we have shifted to a completely unexpected realm—that is neither heaven nor earth, but something in between. We are welcomed by ideals and spirituality that has its roots deep into ancient Vedic wisdom. This book encompasses the kind of fantasy that makes us believe that its indeed true, starkly different from the type where fantasy seems intangible. It makes you feel you are a part of the story, with the actions unfolding before your eyes like a vibrant cinema. The characters’ persona resonates with your own beliefs, and their intentions seem justified.

Once in a while, each one of us perhaps want to escape reality and flee to a land of ‘maybe’s and ‘what if’s. This book emphasizes on this fancy of ours, dissolving legends with reality. It makes us wonder, that perhaps miracles do occur, magic might do unimaginable favours. It harps on ‘belief’ and ‘faith’—the primal faith that good things will befall the righteous ones, and dharma will prevail.

The premise and thought behind the plot of the book makes it shine like a star. Be it Abhinav’s charisma, or Major Ravi’s spirit to tackle any impending predicament, or Gayatri’s righteousness—the author ensures that each of his characters are distinct and original. However, Abhinav’s dominance in the plot was slightly below what was expected, and the readers would surely have expected more from him. Gayatri and Ravi take away most of the load of major characterisations, and they do so quite convincingly. The events unfold in a very methodical way, testifying the surety that the book has been well planned and segmented. The plot twists or the gradual storyline advancements—it all gets conveyed with an air of mastery in storytelling.

A visible downside to the book was perhaps the over-simplifications of the crises. As one danger kept getting unleashed on the protagonists, the severity of the situation somehow kept getting dismissed. There was seldom any heightened critical moments of doubt or premonition of what to expect. This fluidity might be very appealing to some, but to me, it was falling short.
This mythical thriller deserves a very engrossed read from the fantasy lovers in the reader community. Legends, myths, mysticism—it has everything and in the right amounts. These ingredients make this book find a place in my list of recommendations!

A thriller that combines various genres to hook the reader till the very end is how one can describe ‘Punarbhava~ A Hero Is Reborn’

The story starts off in modern India wherein we ‘witness’ a short yet intense battle rage in the world’s highest battlefield the Siachen Glacier before moving into another realm, a realm ancient yet intriguing into which two valiant Indian soldiers Maj. Ravi Chandra and Capt. Abhinav Trivedi happen to accidentally enter. Now is it accidental or is there a greater force at play?....Only time and a read of this book will reveal.

What ensues is a travel through time, mythology and spirituality, and an introduction to characters like Brahmarishi Sanat Kumara, Asura Guru Shukracharya, Pannini, Gandharvas, and many more. Together they weave a story both thrilling and enlightening, a story with some twists, some turns, a dash of romance, and a flight of fantasy that may seem impossible to the modern mind. However, who knows the same could well have been real considering that our holy texts and ancient literature are full of such happenings, gadgets, stories, etc., and we ourselves are witness to things like travel to the moon, launching of satellites and rockets, as well as a lot more which our ancestors would have laughed off as impossible.

So moving on, the story sees the dark forces rising and as it happens only one man can stop it, a warrior who can tame the mind and is a yogi in every sense. He is Pannini… However, where is Pannini or should I ask who is Pannini?.......That is the secret, a secret I’m unwilling to reveal here.

A book with lots of insight into the ancient spiritual tradition of yoga, ‘Punarbhava’ sees the story shift between different timelines with ease, ease that speaks volumes of the author’s storytelling capability. Another thing that struck me was the fact that the book is written by a physician and not a soldier. Why?... Well, the imagery presented in the first chapter is deceiving. The way in which the author presents the happenings in the Army camp high up in the altitudes and the battle at Siachen Glacier gives the impression that the author is somehow linked to the armed forces .It is so vivid and precise. This combined with the story as whole points to the fact that a lot of research has gone into the making of the book.

Other things that need special mention are the style of narrative, characterization, and language. While the style does justice to the narrative, the language compliments it. Simple and lucid it reminds one of the free-flowing water streams that flow forth without encountering even a minor hitch on their way. All the characters are well-fleshed out and help move the story forward. One can easily relate to them, their strengths, and their weaknesses.

So is there something that I felt was wanting, something that could have been avoided?

Well, to be frank, I felt that the budding romance between Major Ravi and Gayatri has no bearing on the story and as such is unnecessary. However, considering that this book is just a prequel to another that is in the making, I could be wrong. Only time will tell.

VERDICT

An engrossing and unique read in every sense, ‘Punarbhava’ will see you wish to lay your hands on the sequel which the author promises to be more interesting and action-packed without even an hour’s delay. However, one can’t have everything one’s way. So, we must wait and see how the story unravels further.

I’ve decided to read the sequel at all costs, and I’m sure you too will want to once you go through this book.

Perfect for Indian Mythology lovers!
.
* The book begins in Siachen, a glacier and the world’s highest battlefield. There we are introduced to our protagonist Captain of the Indian Army Abhinav Trivedi, who is on an important mission. He is a brave, fearless and daring soldier who doesn’t shy from taking deadly risks to achieve his goals. I enjoyed seeing him in action and the entire scenario that plays out at the Bana Post. On this mission he meets and befriends the other protagonist, Major Ravi Chandra. Ravi’s character was quite contrary to Abhinav’s. He was strict as a soldier but as a friend we saw a completely different side of him which was humorous, lively and supportive. Despite knowing Abhinav for a very short time he placed his trust on him and so did Abhinav. Together they traveled to a different world, sacrificed themselves to the cause of people they knew little about, fought battles side by side against an unknown and evil force for the greater good.

* The characters were all variant, creative and likeable. The friendship of Abhinav and Ravi was fun to read as they both had different characteristics yet complimented each other well. As was the love that blossomed between Ravi and Gayatri. Gayatri was strong and fierce yet without any arrogance which I liked. Chaitanya was wise and patient and his teachings added so much depth to the story as well as gave a clearer perspective of their world. Though the Sanat Kumara had very small part but it was impactful nonetheless.

* The world building was well done. The place where the story takes place isn’t too different from our world it was shown as another through the people that lived there and their ways. The book is based in a vivid and different world said to be above Earth where mystical creatures reside and the author described it beautifully. I could feel myself transported there and enjoyed the details that were given of it’s history, how it came to existence and it’s working. I get tired of excessive details about places and things but the details were balanced out well and worked perfectly with the story line. The pace was also fast making it an enjoyable read.

Punarbhava is a fictional tale and its protagonists are Captain Abhinav Trivedi and his commanding officer, Major Ravi. They are exported to a magical land while working on a secret mission. In this mysterious world, they are addressed with different names. A dark mystery awaits them, where the dark forces have risen, the enemy has emerged. The enemy, who is invincible whom even the gods fear. Read this book to know more about this mystic land and its secrets.

I enjoyed reading this book. This book is fast-paced filled with twists, making this book a page-turner. The author’s research is evident, the magical world build by the author is wonderful. I couldn’t put this book down. I loved the title ‘Punarbhava’ meaning born again, well something like that does happen in this book. The Sanskrit shlokas from different ancient texts caught my attention, making the book more knowledgeable. Also, while reading I felt that this book could be a blockbuster movie. This book has a cliffhanger ending and will be continued by another book, I just can’t wait to read it as well. As much as I enjoyed this book, I think that non-Indian readers may not like it because it has a lot of Indian mythology involved.

Author’s writing style and his storytelling capability are commendable. The language used is rich yet simple. This book is narrated in the third person. The author also chose to give some wonderful insights into Indian philosophy. The best part of the narrative is that wherever the pace slows down the author sees to it that the story raves up keeping the reader at the edge of his seat. The characters are well crafted, bring life to this book. I loved the character of Abhinav and his traits of ferocity and love for the nation.

Finally, Punarbhava is a book that will keep you at the edge of your seat. Pick this book if you are looking for a light and gripping read. Pick this book to experience one of the finest writings. On a side note, I’ve decided to read the next book at any cost.

Beginning in the cold glacier of Siachen, Punarbhavagrips you right from the start. And who would have guessed that it would take you back aeons in time, right back to Satyuga in the middle of an Indo-Pak fight? The whole book is packed with action- soldiers fighting with machine guns as well as the Deva-Asura raging battles.

But it’s not just fighting. Filled with spiritual wisdom, it gives you a wide view of knowledge and progress which we made – Oh yes we definitely did- and fills you with awe. The appearance of various mythological beings- Indra, Shukracharya, the Saptrishis made me feel like- Yes! That’s how it all happened. I know that sounds a little, or very much, silly because yeah it’s all fantasy but what can I do? My mind doesn’t consult me while forming thoughts (I am happy it doesn’t). There are many Sanskrit shlokas from different ancient texts that cover the book and make it all more knowledgeable; one – Dharmo Rakshati Rakshitah – right on the cover (I am gonna talk about the cover in just a minute) The characters are all well constructed; I am never going to forget Gayatri, she will always have a special place inside my heart.

There were some things that didn’t make sense (not many things do in the world) but nothing major. There are some really beautiful illustrations between the book that I couldn’t stop looking at. I loved the story and the concept and…………. THE COVER!!!!!!!! It’s one of those covers that make you snatch the book off the shelf and just hold it in front of your eyes and you keep gazing at it. It’s breathtaking. I can keep going on and on just about the cover but you will have to see it yourself.

Recommended to anyone who likes Indian mythology and spirituality (you should give it a try even though you don’t fall in that category because who knows?)

Punarbhava A hero Reborn is a Fantasy action story. What if mind is your ultimate weapon in a battlefield away from this world where supernatural beings exist ? When your thoughts can be hacked and you evident out of the world powers. The story comprises three shrishtis. Check the blurb to understand the plot.

The mystic journey with the protagonist with an ultimate mission takes us to an alternative realm where mythological characters come into being , enormous bbeastlycreatures fferociouslyexist , where he constantly feels helpless but having faith keeps on going further towards his goals. But it ddoes notend there . There is the Soma , a liquid to make others immortal. Followed by a mayavi creature Kaal whose hellish mind gives birth to another ghoul this journey becomes more action packed , mysterious at each step.

The story is also woven with knowledge and facts from mythological and religious books like Upanishads , Gita , Purana. They also will let you perceive the notion of soul , Yoga , RRight The backdrop of this parallel universe and landscapes are captured beautifully that made me feel like I am walking besides the characters. I like such stories where there are magical plants , people with powers , etc . Here there are Asura , Gandharva , Mamolithic Black horses , Supernatural Weapons like Baghnakh and what not. But then who will establish the win of roverwrong ? Will the hero emerge and from where ?

It's a blend of different genres to be exact.
Spiritual story that is equally gripping and entertaining. It is like escaping to another world together.

Punarbhava: The Rise of the Legend of Panini

It is a very interesting and fascinating read. It is a combination of mythology and modern times, moving between the present and ancient times with amazing smoothness and totally grabs your attention. The build-up of the story, the detailing of the characters, roles played by them is awesome. The excerpts taken from Upanishads, Bhagvad Gita and other scriptures are very interesting to read. If you liked The Shiva Trilogy, you will love this book.

Now I am eagerly waiting for the next book in the series.

A fast-paced thriller

Review.: This book by Ashutosh comes under genre of mythological fantasy where elements of Indian mythology have been used to weave a story of author's own imagination. This is significant because it nowhere relates to mythological stories what we have read but the characters are used to make a new story. The main characters are captain Abhinav and major Ravi who on a mission to protect an Indian post at Siachen glacier, circumstantially enter into another realm called Urdhav Lok of which Nandan van is a part .Here captain Abhinav is addressed as Panini by Bhramrishi Sanatkumar and is told that he has to fulfil his destiny .Though initially doubtful, both become convinced of the new realities but soon Panini is attacked and injured by mayavi jeev and the major goes to Gandharva Lok to get medicine however he himself gets imprisoned there due civil war going on.
Whether major will be able to get medicine in time and save his friend. Why Panini as a name is given to Captain Abhinav .Who is yalli? What is the role of Asur guru Shukracharya in this.? What big plan has he set in motion to make Asurs supreme once again?
The story moves with a breakneck speed from there on and becomes a page turner with flashbacks to captainAbhinav previous birth to give the context of the story.
Pros : The title page is quite eye-catching and the story is written is very simple and lucid language. The initial chapters sets the momentum where a daring operation is taken to take back Indian post on Siachen. The author has in-between given a lot of his own philosophical insights on Indian philosphy Like what is reality ? What is self ? Etc which makes it easy to understand the story.
Cons: The love interest between Gayatri and major Anil looks bit outlandish as she is a yogini.. and much older than him and the major acts like lovelorn boy when in her presence.

The story ends in an cliffhanger and a sequel is definitely there.
My take: Go for it if you have an evening free 😊😊

Definitely a must read

I persisted writing with clear goals in my mind, not to just entertain my readers, but to stir their souls and to encourage them to move towards their spiritual path- A line from the book by the author. I feel it's so important to know why the author has written the book and just by reading these lines my thoughts on the book changed for the better.

This is an extraordinary story of Indian fantasy and a bit of a feel on mythology, It's like been transported to a different world. I absolutely loved the feel of the book.

The book did start with a very normal yet thrilling beginning of how Army Captain Abhinav Trivedi who is 24 years of age lands in siachen glacier top where Major Ravi Chandra in his mid twenties and his team are based to give them the news everyone dreaded.

When a fight starts out Captain and Major are throw into a different world and how do they manage to come out, what's the outcome of the fight

What's happening in the different world, where the mind is the most powerful being and one needs to train the mind well.

The story gets in so many characters and so much of action that's it's does get very exciting as a reader, obviously as most fantasty books are there are dark and evil forces lurking, how is Captain Abhinav Trivedi connected to them. How does the book end?

There is a sequel to this book, I actually didn't realise in the beginning that it has a sequel so I was a bit disappointed but now I am waiting to read that too.

The language of the book is superb, it awaken all the senses in your body, my hair was actually standing in some pages. The storyline is different and amazing too. I loved the cover too

Overall an amazing book.

PUNARBHAVA: Rise of the legend of Panini - the Yogi warrior
by Ashutosh Jain.
.
.
.
REVIEW:- "PUNARBHAVA"
=> Punarbhava book by Ashutosh comes under the genre of mythological fantasy where elements of Indian mythology have been used to weave a story of the author's imagination.
=>The main characters are captain Abhinav and major Ravi who on a mission to protect an Indian post at Siachen glacier, circumstantially enter into another realm called Urdhav Lok of which Nandan van is a part.
=>The story moves with a breakneck speed from there on and becomes a page-turner with flashbacks to captain Abhinav's previous birth to give the context of the story.
=>The complexity of the enigmatic characters is articulated beautifully by the brilliant penmanship of the author. He tactfully introduces the sardonic consequences as surreal experiences.
=> In their transition, what follows them is a dark creature, one even the divine fears. To be able to fulfill their destiny they must do what no mortal has ever done in ages, be one with themselves and their creator.
=>The mixture of Indian mythology and love for the motherland is a treat to the reader. I like this kind of mixture of the genre. This mixture expresses the creativity of the author.
=>The book will make the readers question their existence and the purpose of their lives but at the same time, it will make them believe that there exists a Panini in each one of them and that they too are capable of something extraordinary.
This book is suggested for fiction readers and adventurous readers.
My Rating To This Book Is 5/5.

When I looked at the book I found the cover-page and title contradictory, a Sanskrit word and Tarzan + Humanoid; I thought the book will be another science fiction so I didn't pick the book. Two days later a buddy was taking about this book, that made be pick the book.

The story begins with the entry of Captain Abhinav Trivedi, an  Indian Army officer on the way to reach the camp in the Saichen Glacier, to deliver top-secret information to the commanding officer Major Ravi Chandra. The officers are in to a life threating operation, the mission is successful but the officers finds themselves in a mystic land. A land of magical powers and ancient sciences invites the soldiers (officers) to learn the forgotten arts and begin their unknown destiny.

Captain Abhinav is called with a new name, but why? Major Ravi connects with a yogini, is this merry attraction or love? What are the Brahmarshi waiting for? And above all - Who is Panini?

Mythological fiction, fantasy, action and above all thriller - this book holds all these genres and many more. The two main characters in the story Captain and Major are similar of few ways but after some time you will find them different in many ways, the fine difference in their similarity was fun to read (I prefer Major, of the two). The shift of time (ages) is maintained brilliantly, author has shown their brilliance in this. But above all there is one thing I enjoyed in this book is the terminologies - in the war zone (present days) perfect words and in the mystic world fine Sanskrit. The author didn't miss this, not even minutely at any step (or page); if your a critic you need to search for mistakes.

Title: Punarbhava: The Rise of the Legend of Panini
Author: Dr. Ashutosh Jain

Review:

"Punarbhava: The Rise of the Legend of Panini" by Dr. Ashutosh Jain is a mythological thriller which narrates the story of the rivalry between the Devas and Asuras or the battle between Dharma and Adharma.

The story begins with two Indian Army Officers, Abhinav Trivedi and Ravi Chand who while dispensing their duty and rescuing their fellow soldiers at the highest active battlefield Siachen gets trapped in a mysterious cave. In the cave Abhinav comes across an ancient monolith which teleports them to a different world called Urdhav Lok. In this new magical world they've different identities and roles to play. And here begins the most interesting part where Abhinav has to fit into the shoes of character called Panini who is entrusted with the responsibility to establish Dharma and protect the universe from Adharma.

Dipped in the syrup of fantasy, mythology, magic, history, adventure, love, friendship, bravery, philosophy and mystery, Punarbhava eulogizes the legend of Panini who fights a battle to protect the universe and his friend from evil.

Written in a very lucid and captivating language coupled with coherent and consistent plot and well developed characters, Punarbhava takes the readers into the magical journey of a mythological world and offers them slices of philosophy and adventure. It has been woven so beautifully that it becomes difficult to put it down incomplete and focus somewhere else. This is a perfect book for all those who love mythology and fantasy as well as all those who are new to it.
Highly Recommended!

Riveting and accurate!

Quote from the book:

"A single intelligent 'consciousness' pervades the entire universe. It is all-powerful, all-knowing and omnipresent. It is the 'Brahmana' or the universal mind."

Food for thought:

The storytelling arc resonates with the reader by appealing to the spiritual awakening of the soul. The Hindu mythology genre refers to the elements of the universe which steers us on the destined path.
Similarly, the central characters in the story- Captain Abhinav and Major Ravi, traverse through a labyrinth of narratives. They're strung together by pearls of wisdom from visionaries, and there's even a mention of the Art of War by Sun Tzu. The conflicts and emotional turmoil faced by the protagonists are riddled in every aspect of the story as it unfolds, and we get to dive a little deeper into their intellect.
The complexity of the enigmatic characters is articulated beautifully by the brilliant penmanship of the author. He tactfully introduces the sardonic consequences as surreal experiences.
As Abhinav and Ravi's existential crisis is put forth, you find yourself anticipating the next move in their quest. Your emotions are always on cue as the mythology thrives in abundance in their conscience.

Disclaimer:

The book is riveting in it's control over the twists and turns, which leave you in a pool of questions. The author has preserved our rich heritage and traditions in his depictions, whether atop Siachen or in the immortal world.
Renewed faith shall prevail!

Fast paced and thrilling right from the beginning, Purnabhava is a beautiful story that has capacity of totally engrossing it's readers in it's world. I started reading the book yesterday morning and couldn't stop till I completed it this morning, such is the charm and appeal of the novel. The idea is unique and though, I love the portrayal of each and every character in the novel, I must give special mention to the danvas(I don't even know if I should be sorry for saying this😂)- I got to see a new aspect of the asuras who, we are usually taught, are brainless man-eating creatures but this book bought out a whole new side and I really admired it. The book presents vivid imageries to its readers and is descriptive, and includes numerous creatures from our Hindu Mythology- I'm glad that some of my favourite creatures made thier appearance too. It has that supernatural touch which makes a book all the more magical.
Now I'd like to state one point that I thought could have made the story a little better- It becomes really confusing at times because, in the novel , the point of view of narration is being changed so often that by the time I reached the second incident of one perspective, I'd already forgotten what happened in it's last one, thus, in my opinion, maintaing a constant or irregularly fluctuating perspective could have added to the excellence of an already amazing book.
In conclusion, the book is well-written, well- researched and really needs more recognition cause it's actually an extremely enjoyable read.
Eagerly waiting for the sequel to come out!

Punarbhava - 'renewed becoming' which refers to the process of rebirth or continued existence from one life to another.
The Author has come up with catchy title that is adjoined with a brilliant plot that keeps the readers hooked until the end.
I always fascinate reading about Mythology, and this book even thought it has a mythological touch, it feels unique as though like a thriller mythology.

First of all, the characters are influencial having Army background where bravery is at it's peak & that's how the story introduces itself.
Well, when it comes to mythology, I'm sure we all read about well known characters but the most relative topics in the present time is the Evil that dominates Dharma.
I was completely curious how the plot feels too connecting but at the same time keeping us informed about the thriller part.
The story unfolds in the medium pace.
Reading about Pannini was too interesting personally for me.

The Author has given proper care in the narration in balancing various timelines & situation.
I feel the story is indeed too interesting but the blurb is kind of spoiler because as I saw the cover, I remembered the Kaliyuga's rule i.e Good & Evil exists in the same person.
But as I read the Blurb, I somewhere wandered If the book has left with any more suspense.
However, the Author has surprised me with his writing style and the plot.
Hence my only suggestion is to work on the blurb as the storyline is too perfect.
It was indeed intriguing read for me.
Highly recommended to all the Book Lovers.

Book Name: Punarbhava: The Rise of the Legend of Panini

Author: Dr Ashutosh Jain

Genre: Mythological Fiction

"Punarbhava" by Dr Ashutosh Jain is the story of Caption Abhinav Trivedi, who was on a mission at Siachen with Major Ravi Chandra. The story took a new route when Abhinav finds himself trapped in a mysterious cave while trying to save the life of Major Ravi Chandra. The story which in starting seems to be the story of Army officers turns out to be mythological fiction when they both landed up at a place Nandavan, the land of Gods, unknowingly and to their surprise, everyone was calling Abhinav by the name of "Panni".

Language is lucid and the story is quite intriguing and the interest keeps on increasing as I progress with the story. I am waiting eagerly to read the next book of this series to know what happened further. Being a lover of mythological fiction, I was quite fascinated by the way the author had synchronized the essence of history, myths, facts, and the occult. I would recommend this book to beginners as the language and narration style is lucid and quite engaging.

Who was Panini? Why does, everyone is calling Caption Abhinav Trivedi by the name of Panini? Where is this Nandavan? How did they reach there? What is going to be their fate? To know the answers to these questions, you need to read the book first.

Do read and don't forget to share your views in the comment section.

Punarbhava: The Rise of the Legend of Panini
Author: Dr. Ashutosh Jain

This book is of the Indian Mythology class where the fundamental plotline is the contention among devas and asuras.

The story begins with a group of Army officials drove by Captain Abhinav and Major Ravi who go on a salvage mission to save another group of armed force men posted in a close-by camp in Siachen. the conflict among devas and asuras was truly not satisfactory at the beginning however becomes an integral factor. Brahmarishi Sanat Kumara, Asura Guru Shukracharya, Pannini, Gandharvas, and some more. Together they weave a story both exciting and illuminating, a story for certain turns, a few turns, a scramble of sentiment, and a trip of imagination that might appear to be difficult to the advanced psyche. Nonetheless, who realizes the equivalent could well have been genuine thinking about that our sacred writings and antiquated writing are brimming with such happenings, devices, stories, and so on

story shift between various courses of events effortlessly, facilitate that says a lot of the creator's narrating capacity. Something else that struck me was the way that the book is composed by a doctor and not an officer.

The author figures out how to flawlessly go among plots and subplots and keeps you bolted to the pages. A well-informed book will be paying special mind to additional from the writer.

Overall, Beautiful Read

It is a mythological read that would offer every reader a thrilling experience. Just like the story, the book has a catchy cover. Indian Army Captain Abhinav Trivedi and his commanding officer Major Rav have been assigned a major project. But they were on the mission, they entered a different realm where they were alienated from the rest. Now their new journey begins in Urdhav Lok. You have to read the rest of the book to unfold the further thriller adventures.

While reading the preface itself, I knew this book is going to be great. And I am not the slightest bit disappointed with the outcome. The author also put a detailed account of traditional yoga history that further enhanced the reading experience. I have always been a fan of mythological stories, and this plotline is packed with mythology, thriller, fantasy, and supernatural elements. It does sound like a perfect one to grab and read right away. Now coming down to the writing composition, after reading the first chapter itself you will be able to understand that the author has intellectually designed it in a gripping way. Once you enter the world of illusion created by the author, there’s no going back. This story will definitely leave the readers craving for more. The author also used certain terminologies in this book and tried to convey its meaning to the readers in the simplest manner possible. I would definitely suggest this book to all my lovely readers.

The story casting itself into creation, beginning at the world's highest battlefield, Siachen. Envisaged with it, the incorporation of mythology, heroism, psychology and emotions.

What would've been a mission to defend the motherland for Captain Abhinav and Major Ravi, an accident turns it into an indelible imprint on their soul; they're transited into a parallel world of the divine, and with this transition they're now left to grapple with the tumultuous uproar of their destiny. From the perishable realm of the body they've to navigate to the imperishable realm of the mind, in process uniting them both; for what follows can only be handled by the mortal in ways of the immortal. In their transition, what follows them is a dark creature, one even the divine fears.
To be able to fulfill their destiny they must do what no mortal has ever done in ages, be one with themselves and their creator.

Their destiny takes them to the 'Yogi warrior': Panini, and with the revelation of this good, the evil navigates closer to them, yet again Dharma has to fight for its existence, but in this fight the odds are highly against it.

The author has commendably blended mythology with human emotions, which helps the readers connect to his work instantly.

Here we follow Captain Abhinav Trivedi and Major Ravi Chandra who are in a very deadly mission in Siachen. They are a part of the special forces and they arrived on a Recon mission but something happens and they are propelled in a far away land of super beings and mystical powers and also abounding in ferocious creatures.
Now Abhinav has to fight an unknown enemy by embarking on a spiritual journey but Evil strikes before he can even embark on the journey. He is wounded immensely and only a special elixir can do something about it.
Circumstances escalate between Ravi and a woman named Gayatri who is a warrior. They both realise that they are soulmates and now are on the journey to find the elixir and the mystery unfolds.
I wont say much more than that because I have already said a big portion of the plot. Coming to the book I honestly did not find the cover interesting or attractive but the concept of the book makes up for it. It is truly an unputdownable book. The thrill in the book is just at the right points along with great narration and simple lucid language used.
The mythology used in the book is very appropriate for a new fantasy beginner. It's relatively short in comparison to other fantasy books and I recommend if you want something different especially because the world building is unique and fascinating.

In the mountain highlands of Siachen,Indian Army Captain Abhinav Trivedi and his Commanding Officer Major Ravi Chandra land up in a realm of mystical powers and barbaric creatures.
.
Little does Abhinav know that he has to fight with an unknown enemy. He steps into a different kind of world, where mind is the only powerful weapon. And to get out of the trap,he has to embark on a spiritual journey that will let him dive into the depths of his soul.
Will he be able to do that?
Even before he comes across a legend--the 'Yogi Warrior'--Panini,an evil creature mortally wounds Abhinav. Only a miraculous elixir can save him from an impending death.
.
The story unfolds in the hands of mystical elements. I loved how the author ended up blending so many genres into one. A sudden turn in genres kept me hooked till the very end.
The author didn't fail to throw a light on patriotism and how soldiers deeply engrave the word 'love' for motherlands on their souls. That moved me in particular.
The language is lucid and the character building is appreciable.
This book will take you through a plethora of mystical events and in the end, you will end up standing still on a surface covered with mythological elements.
I am honestly waiting for the next book from the 'Panini' series. Grab the book to get added in a waiting list like me! (😬)

A tale which has some mythological significance and it's worthy of reading if you are a fan of mythological fiction. you need to perceive the story with your believer mind carefully.

The story which depicts the name, Captain Abhinav with the aim of passing top-secret information through the impediment in the way and with the help of in-charge Mr Ravi, discovered the most interesting story plot.
The snow-filled way which is quite dangerous to all the people but their bravery knew no limit while doing their respective duties.

The story is interesting from the beginning and I loved the plot with a constant pace. I need to tell you that the author explained the scenes so well that you can actually visualise it so well.

There is a sense of love for motherland described here which also will get clear to you by seeing the character sketch of the army in the narration of the story.

The mixture of Indian mythology and love for the motherland is a treat to the reader. I like this kind of mixture of the genre. This mixture expresses the creativity of the author.

If you are a fan of creativity and mythological thriller and if you want to read something interesting in this lockdown just go ahead and get the book

This was the first mythology book I have read. Basically I have less interest of reading mythology but I gave this book a try and it's not disappointed me. I really enjoyed reading this book and I also completed this book in very short time eventhough the book is of 200+ pages. That's much interesting and enthralling.

The protogonist of this story is Indian Army Captain Abhinav Trivedi  and commanding officer major Ravi Chandra who are in mission of protection in Siachen, the second-largest glacier in the world and the world’s highest active battlefield. But they both mysteriously got in to different world where it was a place of magical realms. From there the mythological characters taken part. The question is that :
- why these people taken to that world? What is the necessity here?
- is they able to complete their Indian mission?
- whether they will return back ? Like this so many questions will arise in readers.

The author has done a great work. The writing style and language is so perfect. The story scenes are visualising while reading. There are lots of unexpectable twist & turns are taken place, which holds the readers mind. After completing the book I felt so relieved because I can't able control my curiosity to know the next things. I recommend this book for all .
