I am the result of an experiment—human spliced with dinosaur—or so I assumed growing up. According to my parents, they rescued me from a lab when I was just a roly-poly egg. All my life I’ve hidden what I am because my parents told me I had to, but when they die, my world is blown apart.
Which is when I meet Urion.
Tall, dark, and arrogant, he invades my dreams and then ignites my world. I’m trying to protect my heart, but he makes me want something a misfit can’t have.
A happily ever after.
But what if there were a place where we could be together?
Hello, my name is Eve Langlais and I am an International Bestselling author who loves to write hot romance, usually with werewolves, cyborgs or aliens .
I should warn you, I have a twisted imagination and a sarcastic sense of humor something I like to let loose in my writing. While well known for my shifter stories, I am also extremely partial to aliens, the kind who like to abduct humans and then drive them insane...with pleasure. Or do you like something a little darker, more serious? Then check out my cyborgs whose battle with humanity have captivated readers worldwide.
The main character was just plain terribly stupid in this one. I don’t know how the other three books were so good but then you get to the dragon and the character is an idiot. I’m half way and I just can’t. Just one stupid thing after another
Another fantastic addition to the series! After rereading and listening to the audio versions of the previous 3 books in this series, I was over-excited to discover this newest Misfit to love! Kiini’s quest for answers led her down the road that the blonde girls usually take in slasher movies, but I had hope for her anyway. When she finds out the truth about her parents, I mean, that had to have been a heartbreaking thing to go through all alone, so her quest for answers was fueled by her feelings of betrayal. I’m curious about how both of her parents died at the same time though, I think that could have been an important part of the story too. Subject X, or Urion, is hyped up to be the bad guy of the story….but really just the bad guy for the bad guys. Kalini and Urion find eachother, amid strange energy fluctuations and little earthquakes attributed to Urion and go on an epic hero adventure that I could not stop listening to. Especially with the advent of the Golden Dragon, I literally had to listen to the last hour while my students were doing their mid-term final, lol, I just had no self-control left at that point, lol, and I would totally do it again! I could have read the words on my Kindle app since I bought the book too, but I was hung up on how the story unfolded at that point and just kept listening after my lunch duty, lol. Although this one wrapped up a lot of loose ends from the ones before, I can still hope that there are more experiments out there trying to find answers and the way to Limbo.
Kalini was hatched and felt special until the ones who raised her died. She goes looking for answers. While she sleeps she meets a stranger that she has a connection with. She meets Urion while she is awake and can’t believe he is real. They can both feel a pull to each other. Kalini is excited when she learns she is a dragon. She also falls even more in love with Urion when she sees his dark almost evil dragon. Can they avoid those who want to experiment on them or kill them? Will they realize the love for each other before it’s to late?
This was a really good book written by one of my favorite authors. Eve never fails to write exciting stories. In this book you have a girl who was hatched from an egg has a tail who meets a deadly dragon who was being held in a lab and kept in a coma. When they join forces along with her dog who is part hellhound things get dangerous and chaotic. Loved it.
The only problem with this book? It was too short! These two were a great read, with a bit of darkness, a bit of snark, lots of attitude, and a tonne of attraction. But then, oh, but then we get to the end of the book and they made me melt for them. All the feelings, all the awesome, all the wonderful <3
Looooved Dragon Misfit. Not a surprise though, I love all the Misfit books, this series is one of my favorites of Eve's! This hero’s story in particular really pulled at my heartstrings. All the basement scenes with the sleeping "Z" are totally tense, terrifying, and awesome! Kalini and Urion were two characters I totally rooted for the whole way through, and was so glad they got their HEA!
This book was good. I enjoyed reading about the MCs. Urion is strong and is good for the h. I liked their banter and it was neat watching her discover herself and that she’s a dragon shifted. I liked how they were on the run and trying to stay away from the Chimera group. It was a fun ride and I recommend this book.
Needed to either be longer or edit out some of the white coats. Loved couple so much I wanted to spend more time with them learning about each other. Lastly, I do not know what the witch wanted from him.
The fourth entry into the Misfit series is about Kalini, a dragon misfit. She has had to hide her tail for her entire life. She has gotten a job with the medical group that her "parents" had stolen her from when she was just an egg.
I love this series & Eve Langlais is awesome at world building!
Couldn't put it down loved the characters and the storyline brilliant series so it's a well deserved five stars and I would recommend this book to everyone
