Judy Allen identifies herself first and foremost as a West Texas farm kid. Growing up on a family farm presented first-hand experiences with farm animals. While teaching eighth grade English, Judy began creating farm animal characters parallel to her memories of real life farm animals. She aspires to stimulate an interest in animals and open a gateway for understanding their unique personalities.
