What I love about this book
- Fantasy+fey+Computer game=the combination is just wow!!!!

I was a bit disappointed with this third installment of the Feyland series. I missed the intricate gaming sequences, and the plotline seemed like an afterthought, just a way to continue the series that wasn't quite as cohesive as the first two books. I am still interested in this world enough to read more, but I would implore the author to return to the gaming details and elements of fantasy mirroring reality that made the first two so enjoyable.

I enjoyed this series but I would have liked more scenes from the Twilight Kingdom and I still don't like Roy.

Well, I loved it! Dr. Suess said that you shouldn't be sad that it's over, you should be glad it happened. I am trying not to be sad. In this third and final installment in the Feyland series, Tam and Jennett have gotten spots on the beta team that will be testing the final version of Feyland that is about to be released. Also on the team are Jennett's father, Mr. Carter; Roy Lassiter, who is no longer sporting a glamor coating and is capable of being a regular guy; Tam's friend Zeg who runs the sim cafe and is also Marny's uncle, pro gamer Spark Jaxley and Coranne Smith, who works for the company and is probably supposed to keep her beady eye on everyone else. When they get into the game, Jennett and Tam realize pretty quick that Feyland is for once, behaving itself. It seems as innocuous as any other game and they realize they are not actually in Feyland. On the second day of testing, the group splits up to complete various quests, and Tam and Jennett are separated. Throughout testing, the team encounters minor glitches that they are to make note of so that they can be fixed later. Eventually Jennett and Tam have the opportunity to quest together, and that's when the game changes. Their friend Puck the sprite interferes with the game in order to help them, and they disappear from the game grid when he takes them to the real Feyland.
In this story, The Dark Queen and the Bright King have called a special truce so that they may work together to make a gateway into our world. If they don't do this and have no access to our life giving energy, Feyland will die. You can hardly blame them for wanting to find a solution to that problem! There is a third kingdom called the Twilight Kingdom, and Jennett and Tam find out that they must go there and awaken the mysterious Elder Fey. the Elder Fey, whoever they are, will restore the balance that has been disturbed by the efforts of the Dark Queen and the Bright King.
One of the things I liked the best about this third in the series is that so much of the book was spent in-game. I love the descriptions, I love imagining that I'm there. I can picture Feyland, I can imagine playing that game-though I don't think I would care to go as far into it as Jennett and Tam have to do. Things become more critical when Tam returns home to find that his mentally unstable mother has left them again and that his little brother Peter ("The Bug") has been taken by the fairies and a naughty little changeling named Korrigan has been left in his place. Korrigan is so ugly that he's cute and provides a lot of comic relief. Claustrophobic Marny is unable to help with the game, and so she is determined to make herself useful in other ways. She babysits Korrigan while Tam is not able to stay with him. She teaches him to play video games and she and the little monster wind up getting attached to each other. Tam knows that whatever else happens, he must rescue his brother from Feyland-he must not become a sacrifice that will open the gateway to our world.
Another thing I really liked about this book was that a few people we were mad at before get some redemption. Jennett's Dad and Roy Lassiter turn out to be the stuff heroes are made of. We also have the characters already beloved, proving themselves againa and again. Tam, Jennett, Zeg, Marny, Puck, Thomas and even Korrigan do not disappoint as they all work together to save our world, and Feyland as well.
So, I loved it. The entire series was very well written, with a unique concept that I loved, well developed characters that I adore and root for and a great adventure to boot. I absolutely recommend the entire Feyland series! Thanks Anthea, for writing it.

This book deserves WAY more than 5 stars!
You'll know how excited I was for this book when I say I read it--the whole thing--the very day I got it. It's been on my TBR list since I read book 1.
Ms. Sharp is a master storyteller. She's managed to create a phenomenal world, full of richly layered detail. A world I would love to be able to experience for myself.
The characters through this series have been impressive and diverse. I love that in this installment we get to know Zeg better--he's the kind of guy everyone needs for a friend! And we get a new character, Spark. No spoilers, but you will love her! (Or else.)
We've got excitement, tension, action, love (of many sorts), and much, much more. Would someone please make a movie or three out of these? Without ruining them, of course!
I've said it before, and I'll say it again: This is a must-read! Really. I'm not sure I know anyone who wouldn't enjoy it, and I can't imagine it not becoming a favorite for everyone who picks it up.

Feyland a game which is to be launched by the company VirtuMax is more then gamers have bargained for, it is not only interactive but the Fae are using this as a means to enter into the mortals' world. Jennet and Tam have tried in the previous two books to stop this, they both suffered at the hands of the Queen of the dark realm and the King of the bright court and nearly lost their lives but they are not willing to stop trying at the risk to all humanity. This is their final chance and they have to stop the game from being launched before it's too late. This time they enter and discover that the seelie and unseelie courts have for once made a pact and got together and the only way to win this was by entering into the twilight kingdom where the Elder Fey abide, sleeping and dreaming, waking them up and asking for their help to restore the balance. This books presents many surprises about the elder fey, changelings, dangers and unlikely friendships and bonds formed. The winding up of this very well researched trilogy about fey lore is so satisfying for all concerned! A highly recommended trilogy for all who love the Fae as i do and who are into simming when not reading.

GAME ON!!! 5 Stars
Overall I loved this series! I can’t wait to read the next ones as well! (NOTE: this review is based on the box set Feyland: The Complete Trilogy) At first I was a little disappointed with the first book – The Dark Realm - because I was expecting a lot more magic and fae stuff. It was still good, just different than how I thought it would be! Which is one reason why I try to not form an opinion of how I expect the book to be before I read it. That being said, I read the book fairly or is that faery, quickly and was surprised at how drawn in I was. I was hooked on the characters & rooting for everything to go their way (the good ones only, of course! Lol), I cried when they did or for them, I found myself smiling & cheering for & with them. I couldn’t wait to see if they would outsmart their opponents or get outsmarted themselves, if there would be any new friendships, would any kisses finally happen, would they get caught, would they be saved, JUST EVERYTHING!!!! I read book 2 – The Bright Court – and book 3 – The Twilight Kingdom – quickly as I was so caught up in it, I didn’t even realize what time it was or how much I had read!! After completing the series I realized how The Dark Realm (book 1) set everything up for the rest of the series. Let’s not forget that the entire premise of these books is based on a VIDEO GAME! As soon as Jennet starts playing on the prototype version of the new Full-D system and clicks on the new game called Feyland, little did she realize that her life would never be the same again. Because the Fey world is dying they need mortals to replenish it & themselves, so the Fey have created a way to access the mortal realm via a very realistic sim style video game. I love to play video games and would jump at the chance to play on systems like the ones depicted in this series. Of course I am not sure that I would want to play Feyland, but still…It is such a creative idea to base a series on! You have such a mix of people of all ages and classes that are both human or mortals as the Fae/Fey would say, and immortals like the Fae/Fey and their Courts of followers. I loved how the YA book became so much more than that! I found that I didn’t even think of it in terms of a YA book, well except for the “clean” part (no sex, etc. lol). Personally, I feel that if I can get that absorbed into a book and NOT pay attention to the genre/class/age group/etc., then that is one great book & series written by an equally great author! I know that some people will and/or do, complain about the teen characters being too whiny, too wishy-washy, all full of ‘teen angst’ with teen ‘issues’ like “oh is he going to kiss me?” or “Does he think I am cool?” etc. but I think that they forget that the characters ARE TEENS!!! I had so many theories throughout this series as to who this person really was, or how that was going to play out, etc. but ya, I was wrong on most accounts! Trust me, I have never been so happy to be wrong! Also tells me just how great the author is because NOTHING is predictable which makes it that much more of an enjoyable read.

The Dark Queen and the Bright King have formed an alliance to get into the real world and it’s up to Jennet and Tam to stop them. But how can they fight the two most powerful beings in Feyland when they can’t even access the game anymore—except as part of the beta testing team consisting of a professional gamer, Roy Lassiter from The Bright Court, Zeg and Jennet’s father.
So it’s up to Tam and Jennet to find a way around the beta testing’s constant monitoring and find the Elder Fey, the only ones able to stop the alliance. Since the only way the fey can survive is by entering the real world, they certainly have motivation to sabotage Jennet and Tam’s plan and go so far as to kidnap the Bug, Tam’s little brother. The Changeling replacement for the Bug is hilarious, but there’s still the very serious fact that the Bug could be killed if Tam and Jennet don’t succeed in their plan.
With a description like that, you can tell The Twilight Kingdom was extremely fast-paced. There were some great plot twists that kept me guessing until the end and the plot was so fast I couldn’t put the book down. I just had to keep reading to see what happened, even though I had to work early the next morning! Yes, it was that good.
My favourite portion of the book was Tam and Jennet’s relationship. Not because I’m a romantic (I’m not), but rather because of how their relationship and characters develop. They’re not crazy possessive of each other like you see so often in YA, but you can definitely feel the passion between them. And guess what? Anthea Sharp has written it so that their love feels real; it’s not the shallow, possessive lust a lot of YA writers pass off as love. At the same time, Tam and Jennet have great character arcs as their own characters. They learn to trust one another, but also that some of their own preconceived notions were wrong the whole time.
With the best characters I’ve seen in a long time, excellent world-building and a crazy fast-paced plot, Feyland: The Twilight Kingdom is a great resolution to a great trilogy. It also gives a little preview as to what the spin-off trilogy, Feyguard is all about.
I give this book 5/5 stars.

Welcome back to Feyland!
With the game ready to come out in just a matter of weeks, Tam and Jennet need to get things under control again. With Jennet's dad against Tam being anywhere around Jennet it is hard to try and save the world, but when Jennet's father gets Tam onto the live Beta test of "Feyland" they may just have a chance at showing the developer what is really going on behind the screens.
The Bate team is set up with Roy Lassiter (Son of CEO VirtuMax), Zeg (owner of a sim-cafe), Spark Jaxley (Mega-star gamer), Jennet's father, Tam, Jennet and company employer Coranne Smith.
All seems well at first but deeper in they maybe facing something more then they can handle. With both the Queen of the Unseelie and the King of Seelie working together against Tam and Jennet only more problems can follow, will they find help to save the moral realm or will they be facing their greatest enemies alone?!
So I just finished this book and from the start I could not put it down. The world that Anthea Sharp has created it lively and full colored. As the last book of the Feyland series it was amazing!
I don't want to go to in dept about the story line but Anthea Sharp really knows her Fae and gaming backgrounds.
I feel the series has come full circle with the great cast of characters and events that take place.
Would recommend for everyone!

What do you get when the world of Shakespeare meets a video game? Some adventure, a few laughs, and a whole barrel full of awesome. That’s what Sharp has brought us with this final novel in the Feyland Trilogy.
Sharp definitely gives her characters some unique challenges to overcome. She mixes fantasy with reality and some virtual reality gaming to create a melded world that you find yourself lost in. Sharp’s gripping yet fluid writing style allows you to flow through the story alongside the characters without missing a beat. Her vivid descriptions allow you to walk beside them through a world you not only know but can also see.
The characters that we’ve come to know and love (or hate) throughout the series return here, each changed slightly from their trials and travels, but as the same individuals that we’ve always known. Sharp continues to develop these characters so that you feel like you’ve known them your whole life by the end of this novel. She also introduces some new characters to help round out the cast for this final battle of wills. These new characters are extremely well developed. They compliment and help to balance those that we already know.
Overall, this was a fan-frickin-tastic conclusion to the Feyland trilogy, even if I do want to see more of these characters. It is a journey that I’m sad to see end, but it was well worth the trip (read?).

Last book of the trilogy. It was different from the other two and I didn't enjoy it that much. Very slow paced. It had an amazing prologue though, but after that the beginning was slow paced. I was expecting more action after the pact, but the Hunt appears here and there for like half a paragraph, most of the action is concentrated towards the end, and there are a few good battles highlighting Roy's one against the Dark Knight.
Character-development wise is also very slow paced. There are a few new characters like Spark that is not a very fleshed out character, or Korrigan who I love and shows us more of the fey magic in the real world. Roy was being the usual asshole through most of the book and changes abruptly in the last few chapters. I would have liked to see something more proggressive.
Jennet and Tam's relationship was one of the best things. They didn't get all lovey-dovey like in most YA books nowadays, you get the idea that there's attraction between them and that they genuinely care about each other, but they aren't thinking about making out all the time, and there's no love triangle! (Yay).

I can't help it....I just love this series.
This is one of those books that I just DEVOUR -- escapism at its finest! Tam and Jennet continue on their quest to prevent the Dark and Bright Fey Courts from bleeding over into our world. This time, they will attempt to journey to the Twilight Kingdom, which is a place few dare to tread. It's getting harder and more dangerous each time they step into that fairy ring. Will they have the stamina to survive? Can they continue to resist the allures of the Dark Queen and Bright King? Will the braying hounds of the Hunt finally catch them? Feyland, The Twilight Kingdom by Anthea Sharp
This saga continues as we get clues of this book from the previous book. Love this series as I used to be a beta tester for a sim game myself years ago.
Tam has been told not to hang around with his daughter, Jennet but he's recommended him for the beta team. He, Jennet and her father are just a few on the team. There are other huge stars as well.
Roy, the CEO's son and also Tam's uncle who runs the net/sim cafe is also on the team. They have 3 weeks before the reconfigured version of the game will be released.
This book, Bug is captured ingame and the others must find him and do quests to free him from harm.
When the realm combine the only way to overthrow them is for the whole team to go after them as one force...
Loved this series and can't wait to read about the Feyguards.

I'm so glad I first found this series on goodreads. The blend of fantasy and sci-fi (in the sense that there's advanced technology such as grav-cars and g-boards, as well as the more advanced faming systems) really excites me, appealing to both my love of fantasy and my love of science fiction. The fact that it was available on iBooks also gave me and excuse to use that app again, as well as my iTunes account. I liked that this book focused more on the family than the relationship between the protagonists, although that is a very nice relationship. And, finally, it always makes me happy to support my fellow indie writers.

I read this story way too fast. I should have slowed down and savored the moment more. I couldn't help it, though. I had to know what would happen. :) I'm thrilled with this series. I love the relationship between Jennet and Tam. I've enjoyed the secondary characters. I also feel totally immersed in the world this author has created. It makes me excited for the future of gaming, even though this is imagination, not reality. I was so excited to read there will be more stories coming out of Feyland. I'm hooked.

'Feyland: The Twilight Kingdom' is the third book in the Feyland trilogy about a virtual reality game that opens a doorway to the land of fairies.
This is definitely the best of the books in this trilogy. The tension is palpable as Jennet and Tam fight to stop the Fey threat to their world. The group venturing into the realm to beta test the game add to the problems Jennet and Tam encounter as no one else can find out what they are doing.
A fantastic ending to an original, action-packed paranormal adventure. Highly recommended for fans of PNR, YA & fantasy.

This is a book you must buy! I've read this book separately and then again in the trilogy set! It is amazing. The world of Feyland that Mrs. Sharp has created is amazing. I am not one to give spoilers in reviews, so it is really hard to say a whole lot about these books. But one thing I can say is they are AMAZING and you HAVE to read them!! If you like fae stories, gaming, romance, or are just in the mood to try something new then you need to get this book right now! You will never again look at a video game the same way!

The last book in this trilogy does not disappoint, it is fast paced and keeps you guessing. The character development progresses along nicely and it feels right without the fanfare of being "so out there" that it is unrealistic. Tam and Jennet's relationship develops at a natural pace and the conclusion is satisfying though it is a shame that this is the end. I really enjoyed the series and would recommend it to anyone who loves this type of story.

First you must read books one and two before coming to this book. This is not a stand alone book. It is a story that has to build to this one kingdom. All the adventures come into play in this book, plus some new characters. Jennet and Tam relationship is torn apart in the real world by a dad that can't believe his daughter. Find out how they battle a Dark Queen and Bright King while trying to still following the rules (somewhat) of what Jennet's father has set on them. Another good quick read.

This was such a cute summer read. I love that tam and Jennet have this really solid young romance. No cheating, no un-healthy obsession or stalking. There are so many super unhealthy young romance examples in ya. It is really nice to be able to buy books for my godchildren(young teenage girls) with a non-abusive boyfriend lead character. Thank you for that!!

This was really enjoyable! The format was switched up a little bit from the first two books, with the addition of raiding parties and beta testing, and it made for a good story. The eventual resolution of the standoff was entertaining and satisfying, and plenty of room was left open for future fictional visits to this magical kingdom. Very good reading, and an excellent capstone to the trilogy.

As I have said before, this is a great blend of fantasy and technology. The characters are flawed but find their way through despite themselves...just as we all hope to do. This series was great fun and I hope to see more as the group grows up with their duty to protect the worlds a major factor in their lives.

Amazing series!! I read the three books back to back because I couldn't put them down! From the start to the finish Feyland sucks you in! What a unique twist on the fey. I loved how the game seemed so real that I really wanted to play it. The characters were so well written. I loved reading their story. I highly recommend this trilogy!!

I love the combination of video games and fairies/the fairy courts. I really like this series so far and I mostly enjoy the exciting experience inside of Feyland. I like the characters and their conflicts with Feyland.

Wow, this book was way better than the first two books! Anthea Sharp showed the struggles of the characters very well with both their virtual life and their real life and concluded the series with an epic ending.
