Given a week’s notice in her current job, Eden Jameson is desperately looking for something new. Being a nanny for her widowed best friend, Hanna, is the ideal solution to both their problems. David Painter has other ideas. Having a stranger in the house—even if she is his sister's best friend—could ruin everything he’s worked so long to achieve. He needs to get rid of this nanny and fast. When Hanna dies unexpectedly, the reading of the will is a shock. Eden and David have been left joint custody of the baby and joint ownership of the house. Can they overcome their differences or is it too late?

Clare is a British Christian author. She lives in a small town just outside Reading, England with her husband, whom she married in 1992, their two of their three grown up children, unfriendly mini-panther, aka Tilly the cat and new addition Ty the dog.
Clare is half English and half Welsh, which makes watching rugby interesting at times as it doesn’t matter who wins.
Writing from an early childhood and encouraged by her teachers, she graduated from rewriting fairy stories through fan fiction to using her own original characters and enjoys writing an eclectic mix of romance, crime fiction and children's stories. When she's not writing, she can be found reading, crocheting or doing the many piles of laundry the occupants of her house manage to make.
Her books are based in the UK, with a couple of exceptions, thus, although the spelling may be American in some of them, the books contain British language and terminology and the more recent ones are written in UK English.
The first draft of every novel is hand written.
She has been a Christian for more than half her life. She goes to Carey Baptist where she is one of four registrars.

He broke her heart but can he now keep her safe?

When I started Daffodils In March I wondered if it would be like the previous book in the series. It was and it wasn't. The setting was totally different, and of course, the characters were as well, but Clare Revell's signature gritty Christian romantic suspense was still plenty evident.

I found Daffodils In March to be quite interesting in that, for the first half or so of the book, it had more of a contemporary romance feel and then in the last half the suspense really took off.

I really appreciated that there was less language in this book, which, in my opinion, makes a much better story. However, I did have a number of if-this-than-how-come-not-this type questions by the end. And, as much as I liked Eden, David made me so mad at his jerk behavior. Though, I think this shows just how well Clare Revell involved me in the story, my emotions were certainly engaged.

If you listen to the audiobook like I did the standalone quality of the Flowers Can Be Fatal series is really nice. You can listen to one and while later read the next without missing a thing. I really like the narrator, her accent is perfect for the very British characters, but the sound quality leaves something to be desired. However, if you are into British fiction from a genuine British author, or you like Christian romantic suspense, don't let the sound quality keep you from enjoying a good story.

(I received a copy of this book from the author/publisher. All opinions are entirely my own.)

Daffodils in March - what an incredible story - can you imagine your best friend hiring you as her Nanny and have you move in with her and your nephew who you will be taking care of and then her brother as well - but her brother just happens to be your ex - boyfriend whom you still loved - what a conundrum - With all of this being bad enough you overhear David - her brother - Eden's ex-boyfriend - going off about you being the Nanny and you moving in - treating you like dirt - all the while he still - hey wait a minute I'm not going to tell you everything - the best friend - well something major happens - David is hiding something majorly serious - can it be the source of the change in his behavior? You will be shocked as to what happens to everyone involved including the baby. I just sat there with my mouth open - I can't say enough about this book. I received this book from the Publisher and Netgalley; all the opinions expressed in this review are all my own.

He was her ex boyfriend, while she was a nanny for his sister. Dying she knew or hoped they would get together again. With joint custody of the child and house. All that was missing was love and marriage.
Difficult in the beginning, he had so many secrets, but ended in a happy note. Given audio for my voluntary review and my honest opinion

This is the third book of the series. She was his dead sister's best friend They both were awarded custody of her child and home. Nice book.

This review is based on the ARC provided by the author and/or the publisher via NetGalley in exchange for my honest opinion.

This book started on such a sad note... but then I wanted to throttle David with a smile. He gave Eden such a hard time, and because of all his secrets Eden lands in heaps of trouble. Don't despair! There is a very happy ending!

I have submitted this review after listening to the audiobook of this title.

A guy tries to stop his sister engaging a governess, which ends up being his former sister in law and former love.
Then there's lots of drama, but to go into detail would give a good story away.
