It's no Hollywood movie, but after years of failure, I finally have a spot on a reality show. But surviving its humiliating challenges means first overcoming the intimidating
There’s Michael, the son of a tech billionaire, who’s only here as an outlet for his sadism. And there’s just something about punishing me that really gets him off.
Next is Trey, A-list actor, perfect gentleman, and my idol. Off-camera he proves to be an altogether different animal.
Last is Kelly, surfing legend and ex-boyfriend. He wants me back, but I haven’t forgiven him for what happened years before.
And they all have one person in their sights.
Me.
PLUS THREE is the first in a series containing a reverse harem of billionaires, bad boys, and superstars.
Kaylee Spring writes what she loves: steamy romance that ends happily every after, but not before exploring unexpected paths and lusty embraces. She lives and writes in the South with her husband, two cats, and a growing collection of books.
3.5 stars - Suffer Sesh - I wouldn't have picked this book to read as I'm very much NOT a fan of this kind of reality gig. I did make a promise to review this ARC so here we are. From early on in the book, there was a pit in my stomach as to where things were leading. It was telling me that things for Natalie were about to get a whole lot worse before there's any chance that they'll get better. It wasn't wrong.
As for the men, we quickly learn that Michael has a Jekyll and Hyde thing going for him. Trey looks good in front of a camera but is selfish with intimacy. Kelly has a past with Natalie and has some issues to deal with. I don't want to spoil this but can say that until the end, I thought they'd all be better off alone, as heartbreaking as that would be.
Taking the "reality" show out of the equation isn't an option but setting aside some of that, I liked the book but I could have done without the show part. I'm unsure if book 2 will make it to my reader but if it does, it will be because of the last chapter.
Although I enjoyed the storyline, I didn't feel a connection between Natalie and the three men (Michael, Trey, and Kelly). I don't think there was enough relationship development between Natalie and each of them. I struggled to believe Michael went from an ass bordering on psycho to a kind, in-depth person. Natalie had a huge crush on Trey but aside from their interactions at the beginning, they didn't spend any time together. Kelly was Natalie's ex so we got a bit of backstory there but aside from Natalie stating he broke her heart, I didn't really feel it.
I did enjoy the reality TV aspect of the story. I liked Rose's character and would have liked to see her developed more. In the story not once is it mentioned that Natalie has friends, which seemed odd, but it would have been great if she and Rose had become closer.
Between the story itself not being as in depth as I would have liked and the story essentially being resolved at the end, I don't plan to continue with the series.
It starts out slowly. The story evolves smoothly with many twists and turns. And the ending is incredibly hot and decadent. You can't help but cheer for the heroine. I fell in love with these characters. I have a feeling Ms Spring will become one of my favorite author. I can't wait to read the continuation and other series from this author. I highly recommend it to the genre lovers. But let me warn you, it is a reverse harem story and it has the sexual content in case this is an issue with you.
Another great story, I loved the first person point of view, which always makes or breaks the story for me. I loved the concept of the reality show and 3 guys fighting for one girl. I received an ARC copy of this book through Bookfunnel in exchange for an honest voluntary review.
Wow! A Reality Tv Show with a Twist! Loved it! Natalie participates in a reality tv show and comes face to face with her past and her future! I received an ARC for an honest review.
This book had me gripped from the beginning. Being a Bachelor/Bachelorette fan, the reality show had me hooked. Natalie is trying to improve her life and has surprises on the way. I received a copy of this book in exchange for an honest and voluntary review.
