Having just finished his magnum opus, famed playwright Hon Jia is forced to confront this question when a band of separatists enter the picture and threaten everything he has worked so hard to accomplish. With the betterment of humanity at stake, is there a price too high, or bloody cost too great, he wouldn't pay?

Matthew Taylor is the author of the Jax Jensen Trilogy, among other science fiction and fantasy tales written with one simple motto in mind: be carefully crafted and character-driven.
