This book was published in 1961, just a couple of years after Wright died, so it was interesting to compare this biography to the one I read just a week ago, published in 2007. Farr did an excellent job of more accurately portraying the times that Wright lived in, as opposed to the other book which approached his life from an architect's viewpoint.
Probably not the book for everyone, but if you like Wright and want to know more about his life, then this is as good a place to begin as anywhere else.
