Am I stalking my neighbor Jamie? Yes. Is that necessarily a bad thing? Surely not. Look, I realize it sounds bad, okay? But I take care of Jamie’s problems whenever they arise. Just look at her ex-boyfriend, for example. He was trouble. Now he’s not around anymore. See? I solve problems. Whenever Jamie needs help, I’ll be there for her. It’s just who I am. Besides, if you aren’t obsessed with the one you love, are you even in love?

Someone is stalking me. I can’t figure out who it is, but I know they’re out there. And the worst part is, now they’re after my sweet neighbor Silas. I’ve accidentally dragged him into my dark web of true crime and sleuthing, and now he’s in danger. It’s a good thing I can keep him close. And not because of his gorgeous eyes and hard body. No, it’s because I want to keep him alive. After all, I have a stalker, and I can’t let Silas be their next victim.

Ahhhh...what the hell did I just read? No really, WHAT THE HELL DID I JUST READ?!

This book was.... weird? I don't know how to explain it but it was so freaking weird! But what I can assure you off is that I belly laughed for a good whole hour after reading this book. And I don't mean the 'this book is hilarious' kinda laugh, I mean 'what is this shit?' 'how stupid an u be?' laugh. Like you know the videos you see on youtube? The ones with all of the "fails". The kind where it shows us a lot of stupid shit done by people? And you think how stupid can people be? And at some point, you're full on belly laughing like crazy at the heights of idiocity? Well, thats exactly what happened in this book. Now, I'm not saying that this book was bad, just that WHAT DID I JUST READ?

I honestly don't know what to rate this book but I'm gonna go with 3 stars because:
1) it made me laugh till tears sprang in my eyes, its been long time since I laughed that bad
2) this book had potential
3) I'm generous that way
4) a 3 star rating is a middle rating, so its a safe bet


Also, did I mention that there wasn't one but three stalkers? and an unsolved mystery?

Anyway, I'm not sure if I would recommend this book unless you're feeling adventurous😂

2.75 “Dreamgirl” stars 🌟

I have two words to describe this book: ridiculously weird.

What I liked:
♤ The hero - I know he's literally a stalker and a serial killer, but he had his moments!
♤ The suspense (if you can call it that)

What I disliked:
♤ The heroine - I really dislike overly idiotic heroines. She was such a klutzy dumbass it got on my nerves, and I'm knocking off .25* for that!

To sum it up, this book was equal parts cute, weird and cringy. I have no idea if I regret reading this 😂

Pretty fast pace novella and funny and some steam.

Hands down this was my favorite Mink book in awhile I love Silas and Jamie. They both fit so well together. A pyscho stalker/killer and travel agent who thinks someone is stalking her. 🤣🤣🤣

And even if Silas is sorta stalking/protecting his girl their is another stalker on the loose watching his woman. Hes my fave stalker lol I kid you not i went awww..

Now Silas is watching closely as others were taken out.. that has Jamie scared for her sweet neighbor Silas (LOL) Jamie also wants to solve the crime good thing she has Silas by her side and believing in her. Time is ticking. Also yes there is a pet cat lol.

No om drama slight ow drama (crazy stalker), no cheating, Drama, sexy times, virgin gal and no manwhore

So straight up: if you're not down for a dark/taboo romance, don't read one about a stalker/serial killer falling in love. That said-- this seems to me to be a tongue-in-cheek exploration of why in these romances we're OK with this behavior from our heroes but not from other characters in the story, and I thought that was an interesting meta take on a protective alpha trope

This one is a bit stupid, but kind of sweet as well.
Silas is stalking and solving Jamie's problems, but she thinks he's the one in trouble because of her.



But the story will take a surprising twist, when Silas notice that more people have died, and he's not the one responsible for that.

I genuinely love psycho MCs so stalkers… murderers… those are my bread and butter. I was in the mood for one and liked that this one was so short - but it fell short.

Maybe mainly because of the heroine? She had the manic pixie dream girl, Bella Swan *clumsiness* of a “heroine who doesn’t realize she’s beautiful”. How many times did she accidentally whip off her shirt in front of the hero? They emphasized her falling and bruising herself like it was a personality trait. As someone who bruises like a peach because of low iron levels… it’s not that cute!!

Entertaining enough but not dark enough or spicy enough or sweet enough, in my opinion.

In this twisted but sweet tale, our heroine who is a hitman cum serial killer gets obsessed with the heroine. How he eliminates threats while making a space in her heart and bed forms the story.

Was this insane? Yes.
Did I enjoy it? In parts, totally.

Mí humilde opinión:

Últimamente MINK me está dando grandes decepciones. Disfruto con muchas de sus historias divertidas y sexys pero está se fue a pique! No me gustó y nunca pensé en poner dos estrellas a uno de sus libros.

No podía parar mí incredulidad desde el comienzo, el cuerpo del ex en el congelador y la estupidez constante de la heroína me hicieron desear pasar de este libro pero llegué hasta el final, a duras penas pero lo acabé.

Este lado del acosador asesino en serie y la mujer totalmente despistada no funcionó para mí. No me gustó ni Silas ni Jamie, no logré ver su historia ni romántica o sexy. Esta fue una comedia romántica fallida.

I love how crazy OTT and unbelievable this was 😂. It’s just vastly fun and entertaining. A romance between a very clumsy, quirky and adorable heroine and her very own sex on a stick neighbour stalker! And he calls her Dreamgirl... so apt... and 🎶 I’m telling you, I’m not goin’ ... no, no, no way I’m living without you!! I don’t want to be free, and you and you, and you, you’re gonna love me 🎼

Would you kill for the one you love? Even if they didn’t know you loved them. Silas knew the instant he laid eyes on Jamie she was it. His dream girl. Stalking her to keep her safe, camera’s through her house, following her he’ll do that and more. This alpha knows what he wants and take out anyone who threatens his dream girl.

Jamie is hilarious, an amateur crime fighter she knows she’s on to something. Now she has to also protect her sexy hot neighbor. There’s danger everywhere. She’s cute. She’s clumsy but she’s also adorable in her cluelessness.

Silas will go along with whatever she says and he’ll be there to step in when things go wrong.

Okay this book had me laughing out loud. The heroine was a fucking riot. This was a fun little stalker book. Heroine is true crime/murder/stalker junkie and hero is a stalker/murder. They really are a perfect match.

I can totally see myself reading this one again, just because it was freaking hilarious.

I'm not in the review mood today, but wanted to mark this as read and move on to the next.

Okay read. The story revolves around Jamie getting paranoid because everyone keeps dying around her. It turns out, her hot neighbor is her stalker and he's the one responsible for killing all those people (tbf, they hurt her in some sort of way or were mean to her). And Silas, cannot just sit around seeing his Jamie getting mistreated. Obviously, he made her fall for him and they had a good thing going until another stalker came into play.

Anyway, this is still fun with some suspense and I liked Silas obsession with Jamie. OTT possessive and jealous.

When she visit her neighbor Silas, she slip the ice tea on the floor and try to clean it up. What's she do?

This was a super cute read! I loved Jamie and Silas together. The first page pulled me in, the first chapter hooked me and the kookiness of Jamie is what killed me. This was a fantastic book. The sassy but shy and clumsy Jamie and the obsessed alpha stalker, Silas were a match made in haven or maybe its hell... LOL. I loved the connection these two had and how will they complimented each other. If you are looking for a short, but fast paced, suspenseful, insta-love romance with a stalker / serial killer and a kooky heroine, then I would highly recommend this book to you!

Mink is slowly becoming one of my favorite novella authors! After reading their Christmas stories and their hitman story, I decided to pick up this one as well. Silas is a huge simp for Jamie, so much so that he literally stalks and kills her abusive ex-boyftienf for her. A dream guy if you ask me. But someone even more dangerous is after Jamie and only Silas can protect her, Sweet and smutty I loved this book. It had a few surprising twists and turns along the way, be warned he stalks her and watched her in her house without her consent, but it is still hot, research before reading!

Holy wow! I could never have guessed that this book would take me on the roller coaster it did and I loved every second of it. Jamie and Silas’ story was a wild ride and had me guessing the entire time what crazy thing would happen next. It had just enough sexy and sweet with lots of mystery thrown in for fun. Jamie is sweet, innocent and a little quirky while Silas is broody, mysterious and dark. This story was so much fun to read and I cannot recommend it enough! I received this book as an advanced reader copy in exchange for an honest review.

I love me a good over the top alpha man! Add in a side of crazy and picture DEXTER... a man who will kill and stalk for the woman he loves. *sigh*
Okay, he’s not MY dream man, but it works with this story.
Silas and Jamie were simply meant to be.... even if he had to make sure of it.
