I hadn’t seen my three step-cousins, Anton, Beau, and Galen in more years than I could remember, and now that I’d returned to my hometown of Cricket, CA, seeing them all grown up with bodies that could only be matched by Adonis was equal to a religious experience.
We’d come together to restore a house that had been damaged in a recent flood, and to help with their stepmother’s impending wedding… her fifth wedding.
Restoration and wedding duty forced us to tolerate and trust each other, and close proximity caused us to indulge in some wickedly sinful pleasures that threatened to spoil any hope we had for returning to our regular lives once the wedding was over.
How could we possibly bring this deliciously dirty affair into the light, when we were step-cousins… or were we?
A Little Sinful is a sizzling stand-alone, small-town, enemies-to-lovers reverse harem romance. It’s rich with sexy ménage scenes, single and multiple partner scenes, and all done with a touch of humor that just might melt your Kindle. As with all my books, a HEA is always guaranteed… Thanks for reading!
Pepper Swan is a city girl who loves killer shoes, gorgeous clothes and anything extravagant. She’s all about luxury, excess and the occasional fling with a downhome country boy . . . or three . . . to tame her wild ways. She’s sometimes haughty, irreverent and downright plucky. She’s not afraid to speak up if someone slights her or when a friend is in need. Find me: Instagram Facebook Newsletter
So. I enjoyed the steam in this book. I just don’t really enjoy the weirdness happening. The pacing is all weird and a little too fast in some parts. There was a weird ‘yoni’ massage thing at the beginning that influenced the rest of the book and it’s just not clicking with me. The dialogue is just a little, off too, I guess.
I don’t know. The steam is intriguing, but the writing style is just not for me I think. I’m just not vibing with these characters and how they’re interacting and the writing. I’m gonna just set it down and move on.
I started to like the book almost towards the end of it. It wasn't a bad book it's just the story felt lacking in almost everything i guess. Something that had me shocked was how fast everything moved. This lady had 2 conversations with one of the guys and it was an argument BOTH times and next thing u know they making out LIKE WHERE IS THE BUILD UP?! How did we get here?!
I honestly didn't feel the chemistry between the mfc and the 3 guys until they were having sex. The author needed to focus more on building their relationship more, especially cause its supposed to be an enemies to lovers. You can't go from "hating" someone and literally 2 days later end up in bed with them without even a proper argument 😭
I also would have liked to see more of the guys interacting especially cause they supposed to be brothers, and it was mentioned how close they were but all of their conversations sounded forced. It didn't really flow the way it should have.
And omg the amount of times the word yoni was mentioned was crazy.
This was cringe level dumb. I kinda wanted to like it but this reads like it was written by a high schooler. Very juvenile. If I had to read the words “sacred yoni” one more fcking time I was gonna yet my tablet. Everything was so superficial. Absolutely no depth to a single character. Jess was annoying at best and the idea that everyone was just on board with a reverse harem in a small town is just frigging laughable. The ending was like those Reddit posts where someone supposedly does some wild sh*t and then….”everybody clapped”. Just. No.
This is the fifth book I’ve read by this author and her stories keep drawing me in. She has become one of my favorite authors! She’s a very kind and humble person making reading her books all the more amazing. If you haven’t read any of her books I highly recommend them!
This story is absolutely incredible. It’s written in a way that flows easily making it difficult to put it down. Fast paced, easy to understand, with a twist or two thrown in. It’s funny, passionate, informative, and so much more. There’s a wedding, restoring an old house that was ruined in a flood, and so much more!
Jess is independent, driven, tough, but tender and sweet. She’s always been the outcast of her small hometown which only made her want to succeed all the more. She’s unsure of herself, honest, and so much more. Very relatable too. Anton, Beau, and Galen, oh what can I say about them boys? They have a depth to them that’s hard to come by. They’ve struggled in their lives and are just trying to find happiness again. Anton restores old houses, Beau is a fantastic cook, and Galen is a master at plaster work. Their connection with Jess isn’t forced or faked. Then there’s Melissa, Jess’s best friend and business partner. She makes the book all come together. She’s hilarious, speaks her mind, brilliant at her job, and above all else has Jess’s best interest at heart. Can Melissa help keep this group together? Can the put aside their differences and the past and make it work?
And absolute must read book you won’t regret getting!
This was a cute reverse harem story and the characters were very relatable. Jess has always been a little different and through her childhood has gained 3 “step cousins” through her aunt’s marriage. Anton, and Galen tease her all the time and Beau is kind of like Switzerland and remains neutral. When in reality all 3 boys loved Jess. All this teasing made her dislike these boys for over 10 years. During this 10 years Jess developed into a powerhouse interior decorator in Chicago. She is smart, strong willed and confident. Having to go back to her home town after so many years is breaking her as she still has feelings locked away from her childhood about these boys. Slowly but surely, each man starts to break her down and she opens up to the possibilities.
I look forward to reading more of Pepper Swan’s books. I definitely recommend!
I voluntarily reviewed this after receiving a free copy through Hidden Gems ARCs for an honest review.

This book was sooooo hot! It had so many steamy scenes it was far too addicting to put down. The storyline was brilliant and I loved every single one of the characters, they all had brilliant individual personalities that you could relate to. This is the first book I’ve read from this author and I’ve already downloaded another to read next as this one blew my mind! If you love a great steamy romance (incredibly hot like 3 times hotter than normal romance books) and love a great HEA with some giggles along the way then this book will be perfect for you! I can’t wait to read the next one and I’m so pleased I was given the opportunity to read this book as an ARC and discover this author as the writing is fantastic. Easiest 5 star review I’ve ever given and well deserved. Honestly you won’t be disappointed and you won’t be able to put it down once you start.
Jess grew up in the small town of Cricket. She felt like she never fit in and her three step-cousins did not help. They bullied her in the classic "I like you so I'm being mean to you" kind of way. Jess couldn't wait to escape Cricket and once she left she was gone. The only thing able to drag her back is her aunt's 5th wedding. When she gets there she can't believe the three men standing in front of her are her ex-step-cousins. After sex gets involved the feelings follow but can Anton, Beau, and Galen convince Jess to stay in Cricket with them? Scorching book. Contains couple sex, thruple sex, and quad sex. No MM.
Disclaimer: I received the book for free through Goodreads First Reads. The opinions I expressed are entirely my own.
The amount of research I did on yoni massages had me clearing my web browser and blushing hard.
Jess is so happy with her life in Chicago I was really waiting for a major blow up.
Jess still referring them as her cousins after everything and well into 70% of the book was a little squiggy
The guys, specifically Anton was a little too into Melissa for my taste. Talking about her looks and being a knockout. Her touching his no-no spot was a HUGE red flag for me. Unnecessary and a little gross. But that could just be me.
All in all, I’m in love with Cricket and their story and the lack of angst.
I thoroughly enjoyed reading this book. In fact, this is the second time I have read it and it’s just as good the second time as it was the first. I loved how Jess was able to be convinced to give her step cousin a go. Anton, Beau and Galan, even though she was bullied by them when she was younger, the attraction was still there, and they were no longer her relatives by marriage. There is a happy ending.
I am voluntarily, leaving my review for this book and highly recommend it for those who enjoy this trope.
I can't believe I am saying this, but it is excellent. The idea for this book sounds like it is a bad porno. It is, but it is well written. I will be reading other works from this author. If you like a smutty book and want decent writing with your written porn, then this is it. I can't believe it, but I give this four stars. Note: The people in the relationship are not legally related during the time the story takes place. I received this book in exchange for an honest review.
I give this one 4 cups of steaming hot java, ☕☕☕☕. Enemies to lovers after a decade, she returns to their hometown to do a whirlwind revamping her house she got for her parents but they refused to live in it. She finds her ex-cousins that her aunt insisted to help her fix up the house in time for her wedding. One by one, the cousins breaks her down and they all hope she will have a change of heart. Great well written story with HEA.
At first, I wasn’t sure I was going to like this book... and I’ll tell you why, it had nothing to do with the writing, or even the style, for me, when the girl is a jerk and the guys are jerks and hate sex is involved, it will make me rage quit a book faster than you can say “yoni”, but while they had a rocky start, it was such a sweet story and had smooth transitions and it was a super fast book to read! I will DEFINITELY be reading more by this author!
This is the first book I’ve read from this author and it was pretty good read! The story was really cute and sexy! This is a very entertaining book and a fast read. Enjoyed reading this book and reading about the characters and their story. Looking forward to reading more from this author. Happy reading everyone!
These guys have been in love with Jess since they were kids. They just didn’t show it properly. Now that she’s back in town, the hot and steamy works well for them all, but their hearts are invested and she’s determined to go back to Chicago. How do they stop her? An amazing showing of love, that’s how.
Not a fan of the writing. I don't know if it's cause I read it as an audiobook, but the scenes were so like immature to me and honestly, I felt with most of this book. I thought the premise of it was going to be interesting and it kind of was, but the writing or again audio, maybe it was the voices it just, it was very low-grade. P****, type of scripts
A cute and sexy story about Jess and the "enemies" she faces when heading back to her hometown to prepare for her aunt's wedding. Anton, Galen and Beau tormented her when she was younger. Will her return bring back those memories or can they persuade her to create new?
Jess thought her three cousins were the worst! They had bullied and teased her relentlessly throughout her teen years. She left town for college and never returned until Aunt Barbara asked her to handle her wedding. Can she get along with the cousins?
This was a really great enemies to lovers book. Also a reverse harem to boot!!!! I mean who doesn't want three hot men? Hmm? The author just pulls you into the story and you will definitely not want to put down the book. Awesome book!!!!!
Enjoyed reading this story. Step-cousins falling in love. Who wouldn't like that type of story. I had fun visualizing the house, all the people and the town (to include the flood damage). Thanks for such a good book. Written by Cindy :)
Jess left home and hardly looked back until her Aunt wanted to use her house for another wedding. She ends up having to work with her "cousins" who tormented her in their youth only to find they are all crazy for her and her for the.
If you are looking for a hot romance you can read in a day, A Little Sinful is the perfect book. Enemies to Lovers, nicely done! I highly recommend this book.
I’ve never really thought that certain fantasies were actually possible until I started reading!!!! This book was absolutely on fire and I loved every single word!!!!!
A great enemies-to-lovers book! The yoni massage felt out of place. Conversations when it was just the 3 guys felt really awkward. But Mellissa was a great best friend and business partner! Almost wish it was a picture book so we could see the house coming together and finished!
This story was super cute and well written! I love Jess and her guys! Not only was their love story great but how they ended up helping their town as well! Plus who wants a yoni massage? This girl lololol I love that Melissa and Nathan are together!!!

This was a good read. She didn't was to go back to her hometown because of the guy she grow up with. You will get a little drama but whole lot of hot steamy sex scenes.
I enjoyed reading this book, just would have liked more details about how she restored or decorated other businesses and got back into the heart of the Cricket (?) society..
Small town reverse harem romance , cute I liked the dynamic of jen’s family and three guys were adorable specially beu. I recommend if you want short sweet and cute little taboo book
