About the author

Shungiku Nakamura (中村春菊 Nakamura Shungiku?, born December 13,1980) is a Japanese yaoi manga artist. She is most famous for creating Junjo Romantica: Pure Romance. Shungiku Nakamura's distinct style of manga has been identified largely throughout Japanese and English yaoi fanbases. Her works usually include large age gaps between the seme and uke and characters with careers in the publishing industry (as depicted in Junjo Romantica and Sekai-ichi Hatsukoi). She often cowrites with Fujisaki Miyako, who authored the novels of Yoshino Chiaki no baai in Sekai-ichi Hatsukoi.

This volume seemed more like filler than anything else. We do finally meet Akihiko's mom but to be honest at this late stage of the story I'm not sure why she's being introduced. That she would have any impact on Akihiko's relationship with Misaki seems very unrealistic. Not to mention that they clearly can't stand each other.

In act 48 Misaki and Usagi visited Takahiro and Manami. While there, Takahiro again brings up how much he wants Misaki to move out of Usagi's house. 😒 At this point I'm just ready for Misaki to man up and tell him to mind his own damn business. This whole thing is starting to get annoying and it really isn't even a big deal.

The four Junjo Mix stories were no where near as good as the previous ones. They sort of felt thrown together at the last minute. The one I liked the most was the Egoist story in which Hiroki's mother called on New Year's Day and tells him to come home for a few hours to see her and his father. When he said he had a guest over she told him to bring him along. Hiroki started panicking because he doesn't know what to do. Should he lie to his parents and say Nowaki couldn't come? Should Nowaki come and pretend to just be his friend? Would doing that offend him? And even if it didn't what does that say about his feelings towards the relationship? It was great witnessing his internal struggle with this subject. Nowaki, as usual, is the easiest man in the world to please, telling Hiroki he'd do whatever Hiroki thinks is best. It's a little sad that after all these years together Hiroki still isn't comfortable letting people know he's in a relationship with Nowaki. Maybe it'll change when they get older... though I doubt it.

Ах, осталось всего два тома этой чудесной истории. Не хочется, что эта милота заканчивалась. Чудесная манга, всегда поднимает настроение.

Todas las historias unidas para celebrar el año nuevo. Me sigue encantando el encuentro entre Misaki y Hiroki. Shinobu en esta parte fue lo mejor, siento que ha crecido bastante el niño.

no me acuerdo nada de que pasaba aqui pero me acabo de dar cuenta que estoy en el 26 ups, además hubo un junjou mix que yo los amo así que definitivamente es literatura!!!!

horny misaki best misaki I SAID WHAT I SAID!!!! no sé como dije que no me acordaba de lo que pasaba cuando los eventos de este capítulo viven en mi mente rent free pero bueno. tampoco sé si fue de la edición de aniversario número 15 pero el extra estuvo lindo :( [EDIT: era del vol 23 jajajaja] y el junjou mix??? PRECIOSO. el de nowaki y hiroki casi ME MATA
