This is a very simple book, but not in a bad way. It opens by explaining what insulin resistance is and how it relates to PCOS and diabetes. Then moves into what happens when these conditions are left unchecked and how you can manage them all with the proper diet. Then the book moves into a ton of recipes from all the usual categories found in a cookbook. The book closes by reminding people to keep it simple, that the best diets are the simple ones you can turn into a lifestyle change.

I love that there is an explanation of insulin resistance and why a specific diet is so important. Some of the recipes look fantastic. I can't wait to dig into it more.
