Joshua Kite was raised in a home with strong family values and lives a self-righteous life. He is on his way to climbing the corporate ladder, checking off the boxes for success as he goes. His world turns upside down coming face-to-face with mental and emotional struggles and three interesting characters as his supporting cast. Are people in Joshua's world real or figments of his imagination? Joshua finds himself in a desperate situation that only the Lord can overcome. With his career and life crumbling, he turns to the Bible for healing, which he has not opened since high school. His readings move him to repentance, healing, and a focus placed on helping others.

Very close to perfection!
I gave Chasing Glory by Paul Nicholas a 4.5/5 Star Review. It is truly very close to a perfect story. Mr. Nicholas writes as if he is talking. His writing style is very smooth and easily relatable. The story is about Joshua Kite. Joshua is climbing the ladder of success but gets "burned out", for lack of an easier way to explain it. He turns to the Bible for help, which he hasn't done since he was very young. I won't give away where this leads him. I will tell you that this book deals with some strong issues such as mental illness. If you have that in your family, such as I do, then you might relate. My favorite quote was in Chapter 44. "Reading the Word provided clear direction on what's important and what's not. Believe me, there's a lot of not so important stuff that fills our lives day after day."
Bravo Paul Nicholas!

This was really bad.
I’m all for some good ol’ fashioned Christian confirmation bias propaganda but… yeesh.

Should’ve stuck to building ships because this book was an embarrassing shlock to get through.

I finished it only because I have a policy that when I start a book, I finish it but… don’t waste money on this.

Unless you’ve run out of toilet paper I guess.
