International best-selling author Pamela Gossiaux offers a sweet, inspirational romance about unmerited love, broken hearts, and the power of letting go. ♥

When winning is everything, there isn't much room for grace.

For feisty and driven Hannah Whitney, winning is everything. She and her dressage horse Amazing Grace are headed towards the final qualifying competition for the Olympic games, when her trainer suddenly quits. With the competition just ten weeks away, Hannah's dad hires Chase Livingston as the new trainer.

Chase is a Gold Medalist in dressage. After an incident in the show ring one day, he loses his nerve and goes into hiding from the media. He’s reluctant to come out just to train the spoiled, rich daughter of a real estate tycoon, but the money is good.

Hannah doesn't want to be seen with him, but if she's going to be ready for the competition, he may be her only hope. What she doesn't count on is how attractive he is...

When faced with the question of what is most important in life, can two people with different answers ever find common ground?

Saving Grace by Pamela Gossiaux
Book starts out with other works by the author and praise for her works from reviewers after summarizing the stories.
Dedication and a quote from Ephesians 2: 8-9 are quoted and song lyrics by John Newton.
Story starts with Hannah and her father has gotten her a new trainer. She just wants to win at all costs.
She knows what Grace can do on the field and competition and she hopes to come across strong but Chase, the Olympian has other ideas.
Find so much about horses to learn just in these stories.
He wants quality and plans to choreograph the whole show...
Excellent treasures about the angel and fireflies, a KEEPER!
Love history of the location and the travel involved, patron saint of sailors- I live in a coastal New England town and love the statues up and down the coast depicting the lives of sailors and their families..
Chase feels he is not helping Hannah and her training, something or someone has upset her and she's not herself either.
Shocking to find out the truth, what a great story!
Exciting show and tragedies after and Chase explains the story of amazing grace song when she feels her life is over.
So much turmoil you wonder if they will remain trainer and rider or if he will leave as she gives up on horse shows.
Chase has secrets he might share with Hannah...
Love how God makes everything right...
Book ends with summaries of other works by the author and even excerpts. Acknowledgements and dedication are also given along with about the author.
Can't wait to read more from this author!
I received this review copy from the author and this is my honest opinion.

I loved this book! As a fan of Pamela Gossiaux's Horses & Hearts series, I have to say, they just keep getting better and better. This is definitely my favorite of the trilogy (though, they're all standalone so you don't have to read them in order).

Spoiled, feisty Hannah Whitney has only ever had one goal in life: to win an Olympic gold medal. Her horse, Amazing Grace, is perfect for their sport of dressage, but her trainers keep leaving because she is "too difficult." When her father hires Chase Livingston, a disgraced former Olympic medalist, to be her next trainer, Hannah is determined that he won't last long. But what she hadn't counted on was that her girlhood crush would still be so handsome . . .

What I love about Gossiaux's books is that while they come in the trappings of a Hallmark movie, the themes are so much deeper. Saving Grace explores issues of abandonment, grace, and forgiveness through Hannah and Chase's budding romance, as they deal with the complex issues of their pasts and come to terms with them. I could really see why these two characters were drawn to each other, and I was rooting for them to the very end! Not to mention, I learned so much about the world of dressage. These books make me wish I were more of a horse person! :)

If you love romance and happy endings with all the substance of real, relatable characters, I can't recommend Saving Grace highly enough.

Has-been Olympian Chase gets more than a second chance when he becomes the last hope trainer for needy dressage drama queen Hannah who’s determined to get to the Olympics riding her only friend in life, Amazing Grace.

With a lot to overcome in their personal lives, Chase’s reputation as a loser is the least of their worries when Hannah’s past threatens to throw her off balance. Chase, as well as Hannah’s formerly driven father, have turned their lives over to Christ, received forgiveness, and vow to live better, something twenty-four-year-old Hannah can’t understand or trust. She’s turned inward and encased herself in a hard shell since childhood, and only great compassion will crack it.

Chase and Hannah learn patience leads to good things; forgiveness is even better, and when winning doesn’t have to be the most important thing in life, a lot of good things can finally come home. Told in alternating viewpoints with all the perfect points of a good romance, readers of inspiring stories will enjoy this special romance set on the western shore of Lake Michigan.

Saving Grace, the latest book in Pamela Gossiaux’s Horses and Hearts Inspirational Romance series, continues the series’ tradition as a definite page-turner! Living in the world of Olympics-level dressage, Hannah Whitney’s drive for perfection leads her down torturous paths she never imagined. Her new trainer, Chase Livingston, is also on a journey to re-enter the horse world. Both Hannah and Chase have lots of past baggage to cope with and to try to overcome in order to move on and succeed. Interspersed with the human drama, the author’s vivid descriptions of the time, talent, and effort to succeed in dressage make it really come alive, making this reader want to find out more. Highly recommended!

This book is just right

Saving Grace has a such interesting story line that moves right along. There are only a few main characters to keep up with. The author provides enough detail to be engaging without bogging down the reader. I appreciate how much I know and understand about the dressage world of horses now . I also appreciate how the characters who are believers interact in a realistic way that encouraged my heart and my faith. This is my first Pam Gossiaux book, and I plan to read others in the Horse & Heart series, as well as the Russo Romance series. Good, clean books.

Saving Grace is an inspirational story centered around two broken people who overcome their mistakes and maybe find love along the way.

Hannah, after being abandoned physically and emotionally as a child has built walls around her life to keep people from getting too close.

Chase lost everything when he lost his first love and his career. Looked at as a failure, Hannah is his last chance to overcome the stigma attached to his name.

Can they move beyond their issues and take steps of faith that lead them to the life they were meant to have?

superb story with characters you can love

It is hard to say what is the best part of this book— the real characters, the genuine understanding of animals or the believable way faith and God enter into the storyline. This was more than a feel good book. It is a study of faith in action with compassion and God’s love.

I totally enjoyed reading this book. I'm familiar with the song Amazing Grace and the grace it represents. A wonderfully well written story to illustrate that truth.

Saving Grace is an awesome, faith based, heartwarming romance. It would make a great Hallmark movie. This book has two broken characters, Hannah and Chase. I like both of these driven, believable characters. Will Chase be able to break through Hannah's reserve? Will his humiliation in the ring, detract from her performance? It is a long, emotional road to their HEA. The story reminds us that we need to ask for forgiveness and give forgiveness, we need God in our lives and that it is best to have a plan B. I love this Horses and Hearts Inspirational Romance series.
