Dylan Grant.
One of Forbes’ 30 under 30.
One of the most eligible yet unattainable men in the country.
One of the Delta Five.

Together with his friends, Beck, Riley, Jasper and Evan, Dylan runs half the damn world. He is the epitome of power... and the definition of emotional baggage. Too damaged from his shitty upbringing. Too hung up on his best friend's girl. Too cold and guarded to let anyone else into his stratosphere.

So why can't I stay away?

Why can't I end things? He doesn't even know my real name or my real age. If he finds out...

He can't find out. I'll end it. One more night, and I'll end it. Men like Dylan Grant never commit to women like me. I'm too weak, too broken, too tragic.

Just one more night, and I'll walk away. Dylan Grant will never see me again.

Or... that was the plan.

What a welcome back to the world of the Delta Heirs- I have missed these characters so much and MAN does it feel good to be back among them. Jaymin and Tate gift us with a story about Dylan- the lethal, trusted, and observant heir who charmed us all with his brooding mystery. His story delivers on all the addictive charm that this dynamic duo created in the first book of the series- the dark suspense, the sexiness, the emotional angst, and the twists and turns….and, most importantly, the dynamic characters we just can’t get enough of.

I won’t say much about the story because you want no spoilers for this wild ride, but I loved Dylan. Tate and Jaymin, you clever clever girls. Dylan somehow captures all the nostalgia and fondness I have for the first trilogy while also feeling fresh and decidedly different. The survivalist elements paired with the elitist lawlessness harkens back to the very beginnings of the Delta Heirs series and gives Dylan roots that feel fondly familiar, and Brooke’s powerlessness at the mercy of the scheming agendas speaks to the mountains the heirs have already conquered. Plus, we get some face time with all of our favorites. But Tate and Jaymin give Brooke and Dylan a story that feels new. They respect and honor the story that has already happened- the Herculean efforts of the heirs gain power over their lives and destinies- so we have a new danger, one whose scale and scope feels right for where the heirs are now. AND, the pace of this story is very different- as they smartly delay the unfurling of our main conflicts so we can really get to know Brooke. Don’t worry, we still get the gritty darkness and deliciously soap operatic danger and twists, but first we invest in Brooke. But most interesting of all is that this is a love story that picks up mid-journey- which is a really interesting choice. Of course, there are “off the page” parts of this story I’d like to have seen- but this makes a statement about what matters, establishing that the real foundation of this relationship only begins at their true meeting.

Brooke feels radically different from many of the heroines Tate and Jaymin have written- and I could not be more obsessed with her. She’s softer- there is a gentleness to her, a sweet fragility that just draws you in. Of course- she’s got a bit of sass to her (this is Tate and Jaymin, afterall)- and she’s admirably clever and resourceful. And despite all her troubles, she’s still optimistic, still bright and full of love. This is my favorite kind of heroine- a survivor absent resentment or bitterness, a heroine whose pliant softness ends up being a strength. Her life has taught her to submit, to relinquish power to protect herself- and this book is really about her rewiring that in her mind- finding her voice, reclaiming her power, finding out who she is when she doesn’t have to defer her identity to the whims of others. Her character journey is really powerful- and so beautifully constructed. A character who finds freedom comes from recognizing what is already within her.

Dylan (the man) still feels somewhat of a mystery to me. And, while I was craving to peel him back a bit more, artistically speaking that is a bold and creative choice from Jaymin and Tate. They’ve taken their title character and sidelined his perspective, kept us mostly in the dark about his inner workings, his motivations, his journey. The book is called DYLAN, but this really isn’t Dylan’s story at all. The book isn’t about him, the book is about his impact on our heroine- the catalytic spark he ignites in her life. Dylan is a turning point, not our focus- the character arc that matters is his Brooke’s. That said, of course, we still get plenty of his yumminess through her eyes-the dominant caveman alpha, his stoic savagery, his pensive sexiness, and just enough emotional transparency (especially towards the end) for us to feel somewhat connected to him. But Tate and Jaymin really let Brooke shine- hard to do when you have a character as captivating as Dylan. We were thirsty for Dylan, but Jaymin and Tate gave us his Brooke instead-and I couldn’t be happier.

Where Dylan (the book) really shines is how beautifully it conveys this series central theme- FAMILY. No matter who we are, our resources of our power, we all need one thing to humanize and center us- connection. The belonging you find with your community. What unites these motley crew of dangerously powerful but lovable is their endless and unconditional love of each other. All betrayed, abandoned, or hurt by their given families, they’ve created their own family. No matter what crazy thing comes their way, they are unstoppable- because they have each other. They aren’t alone. And a love like that sustains, it inspires, but most importantly, it heals their brokenness. There is no greater gift than the bonds of the family you choose- and in its own unique way, Dylan is a beautiful reminder of what makes THIS family so special. I’ve missed them so!

“Dylan” is the fourth book in the “Dark Legacy” series by the Best-selling author Tate James and Jaymin Eve. Get ready to finally meet Dyaln and the girl who bought him to his knees!!

Ever since I read about Dylan in the first three books of this series , I have been crazy to read his own book! The man deserves so much and I am happy that he finally got it and so much more! Brooklyn was the perfect match for him and I absolutely loved these two paired together!

Dylan is one of the Delta heirs who manages the camp for the Heir Training. Brooklyn is an amazing girl who has never had it easy in her life. After her parents died , she was left under her brother's thumb who abused her repeatedly. Her only solace was the boy who she slept with. Dylan. The one who didn’t even know about her real identity. She is addicted to him and Can’t stay away no matter how much tires to. That is until she finally manages to cut all contact from him. Her brother decides to send her to a camp where she will be more “manerful” according to him. That is until she comes in contact with the head of the Camp. The same man whom she left behind months ago without a word.

Dylan is absolutely furious. He didn’t even know Brookyln’s last name and Now she was back after months after cutting him off without a single word! There was no way he was giving in to her again. Things get tough for both of them at the camp. No matter how much Brookyln tries to talk to Dylan , his cold behavior towards her is starting to hurt her now. That is until another bomb is dropped in her life. Now there is only one person who can save her. The man who is hell bent on hating her for her lies.

The book was full of quirk and sass! It was a bit short and I was all immersed in the book and didn’t even realise when I reached the ending , it seemed a bit abrupt to me but it was good nonetheless! Just like all of Tate’s books this one was also an amazing read for me. Her cold heroes are someone whom I am absolutely addicted to and it took Dylan just a few chapters to make it to my list of favourite book heroes! A definite recommendation for all the dark romance lovers!

Book 4 with spoilers

I’m super conflicted. I am absolutely Thrilled that Dylan finally has a book. And I just want to start it with I absolutely love these authors. With that said, the follow through wasn’t the same caliber as the previous books, it was rushed. I was not as impressed with this book over the others. I felt like there was a lack of main character depth. I feel like they weren’t as developed. Dylan at least was some what developed from the previous book, But the female lead was not. You really know next to nothing about her family and about her brother except that he’s abusive. It didn’t really delve too hard into what he was getting into just that he stole stuff and had an in, in the delta group. Maybe it was explained previously in the last book. It has been a while since I have read them. I really just don’t recall the last book being set up to smoothly transition into this one.

I don’t know why Dylan feels surprised that the female lead felt like this was just a booty call. There was really no explanation about them having any in-depth conversations prior to going to the camp. That’s why it’s super surprising that you find out that Dylan was all crazy over the female lead. It just didn’t feel like he was super invested. And then it felt like the authors rushed through writing the book and then remembered that they needed to have some proof that Dylan was invested, and brought up Riley and her friend asking the female lead what name she went by, As a way to try to make it seem that there had been previous feelings when he would go and visit her every two weeks. I just don’t think this was well written or hashed out. It wasn’t like they said that when the two of them met up in his hotel room, they got to know each other and had real conversations. It just went straight to getting physical.

I really wasn’t a fan of the female lead. And when it all came down to it I Was disappointed that camp felt so short. She goes to the camp only to be discovered by Dylan. And that is as far as her camping experience really goes. I Feel like the authors should have had her grow from being in camp both mentally and physically. I feel like her metamorphosis should’ve happened while learning a bunch of things in camp. And maybe prolonged Dylan and her seeing each other in camp instead of how they saw each other right away. Instead there was a few activities and then Wham Bam thank you ma’am, then misunderstanding, then running away, then being caught, then fighting for your life, then surprises. Idk I’m disappointed that it didn’t flow so much.

You then find out that the female lead’s nanny is Dylan’s birth mom. That just seemed unbelievable what are the odds. I know that the authors kind of went into how Mary kind of got moved around but even then it’s still seems pretty far-fetched.

Like I said I really love both of these authors but I was just not impressed with how Dylan’s story was portrayed it felt way too rushed and not thoroughly thought out.

I haven't read the previous books in this series but I saw a few people say it could be read alone with little issue so I went for it. I'd agree that it can be read alone as long as you're okay with hearing about a story or a character you aren't familiar with. The story did move kind of fast and there was a lot going on in the second half but it was still an enjoyable read.

I really enjoyed Dylan and Brooklyn’s story and it was totally different to what I was expecting but in a good way, The start of this was certainly unconventional not what you usually get in a romance novel and it made such a refreshing change.
Brooke was definitely a broken bird at the start of this and she grew so much throughout I think this fragility is partly what drew Dylan to her he could sense her need for a protector.
She was his little bird and when she shut him out and he realised that she’d lied there constant miscommunication definitely worked against them.

Neither was used to opening up to outsiders Brooke because of her past and present and Dylan his own chaotic upbringing.
Brooke needed to find her strength and she also needed to realise that she wasn’t less in Dylan’s eyes that was her own issues and self-doubt rearing its head, What she saw as her weaknesses is what Dylan liked about her.

I did get a little annoyed with them at times the constant lack of communication and Brooke’s crippling self-doubt was the main issue.
When they both got on the same page they realised that what they wanted and how they felt was exactly the same thing.
We also got to catch up with the rest of the guys here which was fantastic and I also loved the epilogues, This one for me was the literal icing on the cake for sure.

Dylan Grant. One of the Delta Five. Gorgeous billionaire. Brooklyn Lawson's bi-monthly hook-up. Except he doesn't know it. He believes he's meeting up with Serena. he's in it for the sex. Brooklyn is too, of course, but for her it's more. She's in deep which is exactly why she has to make a clean break. But when her abusive brother send her to a boot camp, Brooklyn finds herself face to face with Dylan. She's in real trouble now. First, an abusive older brother, now an angry Delta. And that's only the beginning.

I loved, loved, loved this story. After the Dark Legacy trilogy I had a fear that the other Heir stories would pale in comparison. No worries with these authors. The little broken bird capturing the caveman was an emotion-filled, can't-put-it-down read. Brooke was such a complex character, on the edge of ruin but still holding on. I think she was naturally submissive but was never meant to be so beaten down and trained into docile obedience. She had a touch of sass and plenty of intelligence but it was the sense of goodness surrounding her that resounded. She was a point of light in the ugly world her brother reveled in. She needed protecting. Thank goodness for Mary and later the Delta 5. Her light was exactly right for Dylan. He needed her complete love and acceptance to fill the void his life had created in him. She brought out a softness and a willingness to be better in him, the sexiness and protectiveness were already there. Together they were able to move beyond their ugly childhoods and be beautiful. Romantic Dylan was more than I could have ever hoped for. My only complaint, I would have liked more Dylan POV. However, all in all, this book exceeded my expectations. It was great to rejoin the Delta 5 and watch them grow. I love how they immediately expand their circle to embrace new family. Now I can't wait for Evan and Jasper to find their forever.

My favourite book of 2021 - absoloutley brilliant 🙌🏼

Excuse me whilst I try to stop crying. This book had me all sorts of emotional 😭 ...

This book is absoloutley nothing what I expected, so far from it. The blurb, tells you vaugley about Dylan and Brooklyn and the jist of what's going to happen but nothing prepares you for the direction this book goes in!! This book shocked me (in a brilliant way), I was nearly in tears on the first chapter and then it took a turn in a way I never would've guessed and our lead girl Brooklyn ended up in a place I didn't see coming and their two worlds collided. (Cryptic but I can't give spoilers!)  Absolutely brilliant idea and the story line is so detailed and well thought throughout. Brooklyn's life is hearbreaking. I couldn't help but root for Brooklyn from the very first page, her character growth was one of the best I've read in a book. She was too damaged and broken plus scared.. I actually found this book really inspiring, going on the journey with her character and watching her survive, fight and become the best version of herself. Dylan was just as broken and bless his heart, not the best communicator, at times i wanted to shake him but hug him at the same time 😂 ... This book felt like I had read a whole series about these two, so much happened and I'm sat here still reeling from it. There isn't a cliffhanger as it's their story wrapped up in this book but that bombshell at the end I couldn't stop crying!!! 😭😭 I mean, you've got to read it now, you must be curious huh? 😉 .. Bookhangover is a massive understatement. Emotional bloody mess!!!! 😭😂 I 100% reccomend this book but make sure you read the first 3 books first which is Riley and Becks story. You'll fall in love with Dylan long before this book 🖤

Another killer romance series, in the books!

Jaymin Eve is one of my fav authors, because she consistently delivers good, YA / NA, sometimes paranormal (not this one), gritty, bigger than life romances. The 1st 3 books in this series were for Beck & Riley. This was Dylan's turn to find love, and that's all I'm going to say!

4.5 ⭐️

We all asked...and now we have gotten our very own story for Dylan...he finally gets his own happy ending...and dang, does he deserve it! Not only him but Brooke too.

What a read though! Man my heart feels a little raw right now. This had some seriously break-your-heart moments. I got so worked up at a particular spot in the book...and I wasn't sure if I had the guts to read on...I think some personal experiences wound into that moment and it was breaking my heart. I won't say anything more on that...because it'll give this away but just dang.

I'm glad I pushed through though because, in the end, everything worked out how it was meant to. So thank goodness for that!

I do have to warn you guys though, this isn't a book I'd recommend to a younger audience. The content of this book is definitely aimed at a mature audience. The language, situations, darker content, was not made for some so please do keep that in mind.

Hmm, what can I say about this book without spoiling anything? We have our dear Dylan, who is one of the Delta 5, one of the most powerful men in the world...who has soo much emotional baggage and has so many walls up, it's like Fort Knox up in there. Well, until he meets Serena. A girl who slowly and unknowingly is breaking those walls down.

But that's not her real name. Brooke has her own truckload of emotional baggage and she sees herself as nothing but broken and weak. He can't find out who she is. But she has to see him one last time before she calls it quits. Because how can a man like Dylan want anything to do with the likes of her? A girl who is barely holding it together but who is also possibly falling hard for this "unattainable" man. She needs to cut ties and let him go.

But clearly, fate had other ideas for them...and both their worlds come crashing together...and say hello to a hella bumpy road ahead.

I really loved being able to read this story. And it was awesome being able to reunite with the whole crew again. If you've loved the other books there's no way that you won't love this one. I think this was my favourite out of the lot.

Contemporary isn't really my genre of choice lol but I still enjoyed reading this. It easily pulls you in and has you connecting to the characters. But man did I struggle with some of the bad guys. I was just like kick their butts already please and thank you!! Ugh such evil twisted people.

Yes, yes! I really do!

Who knew I could be so violent...I totally blame the Delta lot and being in their heads haha. 😆🤷🏻‍♀️ You gotto admit it does make sense haha.

Guys, you will love what Tate and Jaymin have done with this story so be sure you check it out! It's releasing on the 4th December so go and get your Dylan fill, you won't regret it.

Thanks as always to Jaymin for continuing to let my crazy butt stay on your ARC team! And thank you both for the crazy adventures you always take me on in your books! 💜🖤

Thanks to my Ramblers for sticking with and being apart of my bookish worlds with me.

Happy Reading!

A perfect finish to a fab series. I’ve not been this hooked on books for a while. And I wouldn’t mind reading a Jasper and Evan book in the future. It was nice seeing the delta five from an outsiders perspective and I really like brookes character. The twist with Dylan’s mother was also heart warming. Glad everyone got their happy ending.

I devoured Dylan in a few hours. Holy moley! That was a crazy intense and amazing ride. The ending just made me so happy. Like I kinda want more because I love everything about these characters but it was a satisfying and perfect ending for them all. Jaymin and Tate have done an incredible job as always.

While this spin-off in the Dark Legacy series is just as suspense and action filled as the first (and almost as dark), it just skims the surface without any real depth or understanding behind the stream of almost unbelievable and often illogical actions of nearly every character at times. Still, I couldn’t put it down.

Wow wow wow. I have to say, I think this was my favorite out of the entire series! When I found out Dylan was getting his book I freaked out! Then wondering what the book would be like and then reading Brooke and I have to say, she was PERFECT. They were insane. I loved the darkness. I loved the chemistry. I loved the fiestyness Brooke had. I loved the control Dylan possessed. I dont think theres anything these authors cannot write that will not be a hit. I am hoping for some side character books now because I just cannot get enough!!!!

I read this as a standalone because I havent started the previous Dark Legacy books yet.

Brooklyn was a character who had a lot of moral strength, repressed by her brother she met Dylan Grant and she found her escape from reality with him. It seemed every time Brooklyn would find her feet and her voice she would have it ripped away from her again. Dylan was your typical alpha, possessive but also tender with her.

There was a lot going on in this book and I would have loved to have seen more of the brother and how evil he really was, but everything got tied up pretty quickly.

4 stars great quick read, but I would have liked a little more depth, more exploration of the issues.

I'm not really a fan of books that follow secondary characters from a series that I've loved. I think this is partly because we see the main two characters from the original books from a different perspective than we have when reading from their POV and I kinda don't like having my viewpoint of original characters ruined. I'm also someone who is very loyal to the first main characters I read in a series. However there are several books which have completely changed my viewpoint on this and Dylan is 100% a book where I think I may have fallen more in love with these two characters than Riley & Beck from the first three books.

Brooklyn was a great main character. She isn't tough from the get go like Riley is but is someone who develops and grows from all the character development through the book. Now usually I prefer a female character who can stand up for themselves (like Riley for example), but Brooklyn was actually a character whom I felt an immediate emotional connection with. I loved watching her discover who she could truly be and taking those leaps of faith to be someone she could be proud of. Now for Dylan. I loved him in the first three books and always felt for him and wanted more. I think we definitely got that in this book. I don't want to give away any spoilers as I hate reviews that do, so without giving anything of the book away I'll just say about him that we get to see him in a different light and we get to know a lot more about him that just made me fall for him even more than I did before.

Now I did find this book quite emotional and was crying quite regularly, but that might be because I'm pregnant so extra emotional about everything. But saying that, I think if you've read Riley & Becks books then you know everything is not sunshine & butterflies. Life is definitely not a walk in the park for Brooklyn so be prepared for a bit of an emotional rollercoaster on her journey. I easily give this book five stars and I will be going back and reading it again as I really enjoyed it. I highly recommend Dylan, especially if you loved the first 3 Dark Legacy books, however I think you can also read this book without having read the others first.

The dark and broody world created by these two talented authors takes an almost sweet turn with Dylan, offering up a romance that edges on cute, while still hosting that diabolical back drop of powerful families and blood in the water. Honestly, it's a crucial combination and makes for some great late night reading.

Abused girl, hidden identities, corporate espionage, billionaires and brats.... it has a little bit of everything, and a Happily Ever After that leaves the reader sighing with happiness. From the first book in the Dark Legacy world, I have kept my eye on Dylan. Not only is he incredibly hot, but there were obvious deep waters swirling around him, and secrets that were taunted throughout the narrative. Those secrets are laid bare in this installment, grabbed kicking and screaming into the light by the love of a lost girl determined to try to find her independence.

It's both sweet and dark, charming and riveting. In other words, it's everything Jaymin Eve and Tate James are known for.

*I received an ARC of this book and am thrilled to share my honest opinion*

Perspective:
First Person, Single POV

Ending Type:
HEA (with obvious growth for the rest of the series)

Rating:
Adult (Sexual content and violence)

Romantic Dynamic:
M/F

Character Age Range:
18+

My Final Verdict on Dylan

I enjoyed this book immensely - it felt a bit softer than the rest of the series, but it still road that edge of danger well. The characters we well developed and we receive plenty of cameos of Riley!

Dylan was such a pleasantly amazing surprise. I know how much I love Tate and Jaymin as separate writers and together they’re dynamite. I mean the Dark Legacy is probably one of my all time favorite duo written series’. Dylan did not disappoint. Quite the opposite. It blew me away. This story, although is a stand alone, was so terrifically intertwined and felt so natural as book four. I loved everything about this story from start to finish. It grabbed my attention and once I finished it left me yearning for more from the delta 5, but really Dylan and Brooke. I can not emphasize enough how perfect this book fit into the series. I am hoping there will be more because the way these two wrote this book leaves you with NEEDING more and more.

This book is solely about Dylan Grant, a delta 5 heir. He was as amazingly beautiful as I pictured in my head as he was in the pages. He was of course our typical alpha-male. But when he shows who he really is your heart melts. Brooklyn is such a shy, little bird as we start off this book. Her story is everything sad and heartbreaking as one can get. The connection, love, fight, and chemistry displayed between the pages is some of the best. Very real emotions. Such tragedy followed by a beautiful ending. I can not wait emphasize how much I loved this book. These two authors are quite amazing and I look foraged to everything they have in store for us in the future!

This book brought back so many feels from Broken Legacy! Dylan and Brooke were made for eachother. The whole time, Brooke is just hardening her heart because she knows Dylan is part of the Delta 5 and is a playboy who just wants to sleep with her every 2 weeks. Brooke is a strong, independent woman, I know she is in there. But after being beaten, literally her whole life, you can see why she doesn't break out of her shell right away. She is submissive but has that firey spark because she WANTS to break free. Dylan just suprized me, 10000%! This book has a lot of that steam that we all like! YES PLEASE! It also has a lot of action and drama. The setting is mostly in a camp so there is no academy and no mean girls...just some mean guys. I really like the action becasue again, it reminds me about Broken Legacy and all the characters come back for a bit. Riley is my bae and is very protective of her guys! So good!

I buddy read this book with my friends and when I tell you that we didn’t take a breath and devoured this whole book in 4 hours. I mean we ate that shit up!

Dylan was one of my most anticipated books of the year after reading the Broken Legacy series. (If you haven’t read that yet, go and do it! It’s phenomenal)

Dylan is powerful, dark and mysterious and always had me intrigued in the first three books so I was dying to see what type of girl would make him fall to his knees.

And boy oh boy did he meet his match in Brooke. She is so strong and kick ass and i loved her so much.

I was so sad when I read the end and I really hope that we get more books in this world because I refuse to believe that it’s the end.

How to know whether a book is good or not - give it to a sleep deprived first time Mum of an 11 week old baby and see if she chooses to read it in one sitting until the early hours of the morning or if she decides to sleep... Yeah I chose to obsessively read it in one sitting until the early hours of the morning while my baby was asleep and I should have been taking advantage to sleep myself and yet I have zero regrets. Well maybe one regret and they is that it's already finished and I now want to binge the entire series again. Seriously these books are amazing! Jaymin and Tate have created a beautifully twisted world full of loveable broken characters and I'm obsessed.

Everything I wanted!

ooooooh my sweet sexy Dylan. Guys I fell in love with this guy in Broken Wings and was DYING that he didn't have his own story. The author gods listened and sent the muse to Jaymin and Tate and hooooolllllyyyyyy heck yes please. Thank you for Dylan and Brooke. Their story is straight perfection. Theyre both broken and also the perfect medicine for one another. I really enjoyed Brooklyn's story and personality. I loved seeing the Delta heirs again!! Ugh I just really really enjoyed this book. I hope the other guys get their stories too.

2.75 stars. I loved Dylan in the first books, and I was super excited for him to get his own. But this a disappointment. I didn’t feel any connection at all between the two characters. How they went from booty calls to love, I don’t know. Even after they saw each other at the camp, they didn’t seem to talk. And then the nanny/mother reveal? Ugh. Too much and too silly. I won’t read any more of this series.

This was disappointing to say the least.

I knew I shouldn't have read it. I wasn't going to bc I knew it wasn't going to be as amazing as the previous books. But my friend started reading the other books and it was nostalgic and I just wanted to come back to the Delta Heirs world again. And now am regretting it. Should of stuck to my gut

This story is about Brooklyn and Dylan but I swear it was just mostly about Brooklyn and Dylan could be consider a secondary character. I didn't like Brooklyn character. Or the story line for a matter of fact. There was soo much bs and 2 tropes I don't necessarily like. One is a spoiler so am not gonna say it but the other one was miscommunication and oh boy did they not know how to talk to each other. For the entirety of the book! Ok, not all of it but 90% of it.

You know the purpose for this book was bc readers wanted to see more of Dylan and the depth of his character but we got nothing. The previous book said how broken he was bc of his sister's death and we got NOTHING. No background other than he had a difficult life.

Ugh, am just soo annoyed with this. There was a lot of unnecessary bs and the death were just for drama factor and then forgotten. Same with the plot. Like I truly don't see the point of the book other then that readers wanted Dylan's book. And we barely got to see the other characters! Only saw them for a few chapters but it wasn't close to enough and I don't see the damn point.

And can we also talk about how there was ZERO chemistry between him and Brooklyn. We only saw a tinie tiny glimpse of it on the second epiloque. You read that right ladies and gentlemen to add the cherry to this mess of a sundae, there were 2 epilogues. So me saying this was disappointing was me being nice.

Ok, bye, am gonna take my moody ass and try to go read a better book.

That wasn’t what I was expecting but wow!
.
I have loved this world since the first book in the Dark Legacy Series and this one just made me want more. It was great being in this world again. I would have loved to see more of the other deltas especially jasper and Evan but I still loved their cameos. It just made me want to dive back into this world, which you can guarantee I’ll be doing after this review.
.
Brooklyn is the definition of self sabotage. It was tiresome at times but I also enjoyed it, seeing her grow and learn to stand up for herself and find who she really is was great. I loved getting to see deeper into Dylan. For some reason I thought this book was going to be in his POV which I was kinda hoping for but I still loved the book regardless. I liked that there was closure for him in the book also and it was an unanswered question we no doubt all had from the first books.
.
They were explosive, especially when both were on the defensive and misinterpreting each other because of their horrendous communication but there was no denying their chemistry and the way they were drawn together. It made for an interesting and enthralling read. Both were captivating and I dreaded reaching the epilogue, knowing it was all coming to an end.
.
This was amazing writing by these awesome authors and I cannot get enough of their books. The plot, the characters progression and growth was all written beautifully and I’m so glad we got to see Dylan get his HEA!

Dylan is the fourth and I think final installment of the Dark Legacy series. Not sure if there's going to be another book at the moment so I'm going to stick with my statement. Now the previous book was kind of okay so I'll admit that I was hesitant to dive into this one. I mean, I was one book away from finishing this series so I figure why the hell not?

After diving into this, I knew that I was going to like it right away. There was just something about Dylan and Brooklyn that made this book fly by. I mean she lived a horrible life with her psychotic brother and goons. So when she got sent to this "camp", I had a feeling that Dylan and her was going to have a mini reunion. They did and the sparks freaking flew guys.

Of course, drama definitely came and went because her brother is a cockroach that just wouldn't die. Until, ya know.. karma (aka Dylan) came into his life. Definitely not surprised by what went down but I was a little annoyed with the miscommunication between the two main characters.

Luckily, for me, they had surgery to remove their head from their own asses and saw the light. Things got better and the ending was pretty freaking cute. Also the other reunion put a smile on my face even though I called it from the very beginning.

In the end, it was a cute book.

A perfect edition to this amazing series

I was 100% team Dylan in the original Dark Legacy Trilogy, but of course Riley fell for Beckett instead. So of course I was excited to see Dylan was getting his own book. This bad boy might have a hardened/untouchable persona on the outside, but he has such a gentle, loving heart. I was glad to see he had moved on and accepted that he and Riley would only ever be friends. There were definitely some unexpected twists in this book. I really liked Brooklyn. Despite those who perceived her as weak, I loved that she proved them wrong. I will say I was a bit sad we didn't get more of Dylan's point of view in this one because I really wanted to get in his head more. Please be aware there are some potential triggers with the abusive older brother. I highly recommend reading the original trilogy first. While you could read this one as a standalone, I think you need the other books to really understand the dynamics in Dylan's friend group.

I really love Tate’s writing so when I saw that there was going to be a forth book in the Dark Legacy series and that book was Dylan’s you could imagine my excitement.

Brooke was a new character, one we hadn’t been introduced to before, so I had no idea what to expect with this storyline—especially after the sort of love triangle between Riley, Beck and Dylan. The first half of the book was definitely a five star read for me, I loved everything about it. It had action, romance and mystery. Unfortunately the second half didn’t live up to the first and that’s probably just because I felt as though we lost sight of the romance between Dylan and Brooke for a little bit. It was more focused on their pasts and I wanted more of the now. That’s not to say it didn’t end on a high because it really did and I was soooo happy with the outcome.

A four star read for me and the end to an amazing series which will forever be one of my favourites.

“He was dominating, and what should have scared me, didn't when it came to this man.”

Addicting. Dangerous. Consuming.

It is so amazing to be back in the Delta Heirs world again. I have missed these boys so dang much.

I have been intrigued about Dylan since the first Dark Legacy book. He’s always so mysterious but you can feel the power lurking off of him.

Dylan and Brooklyn were explosive. Their chemistry was off the charts hot and their every time they were in a room together, it was almost foreplay.

I really enjoyed Dylan and Brooke’s story and I hope we can eventually see the rest of the Delta Heirs get their happily ever afters.
