But when her nemesis Jane Moore whose food reflected her personality… nasty accuses her of cheating for one and stealing the man of her dream in the councilman. Dae was over it all and was ready to give everyone that damn antidote. But what if all of Shawn’s sweet kisses and caresses were all because of a spell and not because of her? Dae needed to see the truth even if it meant the heart between them would fizzle. She only hoped the cookbook had a recipe for curing a broken heart.

Never have I wanted to try a recipe so bad! Dae is a spitfire and yet insecure at the same time. So in other words, a true southern belle. Its kind of annoying that she waits for the guy to make the first move but since I was raised that way and have missed my fair share of clues, I can't really blame her. I am not sold on Sean. I mean if needs magic to make a move, does he really deserve to get the girl? And Granny Fran, I want to smack her and yet hang out with her all at the same time. Honestly I cant wait to read more and see how the magic is used. As a firm believer in kitchen witch dry, this series is going to be a favorite.

Dae was so cute and Sean was swoon worthy but Grannie Fran stole the show. She was hilarious. Cynthia was a great add that leads to the next book. The story was cute and romantic and laugh out loud funny. Dae finds herself in a predicament when something causes the men in town to fall head over heels in love with her. She's got eyes for one man only and he's under the spell to so she doesn't know if his feelings are real or conjured like all the other men. Dae asks Grannie Fran to make to antidote to the spell so the men around town will stop with the grand overtures of love and she can find out if Sean's desire for her is real. Sean however knows his feelings are real and consistently tells Dae. This is an entertaining story and you won't be sorry you read it.

Roux the Dae is the first book in Dahlia Rose's new Charmed Cookbook Series. Let's just say that it was a fantastic start! I just loved the character Dae Shaw! Sean Kingsley was a great romantic interest for Dae. The had wonderful chemistry together. The story were well developed with comedy, heated romance, some drama, and love for family and good food. The characters were well developed and relatable. The plot with the different suitors flowed nicely. Cynthia was a wonderful addition towards the story's conclusion. Overall, I really enjoyed this story and these characters!
Now, I just need to get my hands on that cookbook! I highly recommend reading this book. I'm looking forward to book 2!

The first book Roux the Dae in the Charmed CookBook Series was a fantastic way to start what will be another great series by author Dahlia Rose. Dae and Shawn's charecters were well developed, had great chemistry and was very relatable. The different secondary characters were well written and flowed into the story. The various plot lines flowed effortlessly. The ending of Roux The Dae was a great setup for the next book in the series. I'm looking forward to reading more about Cynthia and more of this series.

Dahlia has struck again with the start of a great series. The story very well written with the crazy flux of different suitors but she makes the storylines flow smooth in their own while staying strong on Dae's left finding out is it true as they say that food is the way to mans heart or is it true love or is it just magic. Sean is just the man for her and refuses to let anyone get in the way, even if its Dae doubting herself, of being with the woman he has wanted for all this time.

I’m so excited to see another new series started by Dahlia Rose! This was a laugh out loud humorous story about Dae - and a spell gone awry and Sean who is looking to finally get his chance to be with Dae. While Sean knew his feelings for Dae were real she wasn’t so sure and it was great and really fun to see how they both get to the same conclusion in the end. This book had great characters, hot chemistry between them, and an engaging plot that captivated me until the end. I definitely can’t wait for the next book in this series. Great read!

Cooking Up Trouble

Summer hasn't ended yet, so read "Roux the Dae" and spend time in Myrtle Beach with Dae Shaw
who literally cooks up love and trouble at the same time.

I enjoy reading Dahlia Rose's stories because they are fast paced and the dialogue is so vivid you can hear exactly what the characters sound like in your head--and you know the type of people they are. Dae is a woman with experience who knows what she wants and isn't afraid to say so.

"Roux the Dae" is fun, sexy, and short enough to spend an enjoyable afternoon reading.

Good book!

Book! Really enjoyed this book it was cute, funny and romantic! I loved the chemistry between Sean and Dae it was sweet and smoking hot 🔥! Loved the introduction of Cynthia and PJ is there a story about those to coming? This book had the right amount of romance and comedy, you laughed and then had to fan yourself to cool off from the heated love scenes! Enjoyed the characters and their personalities. Grannies Fran was hilarious, I highly recommend this book to my fellow romance readers you will not be disappointed! The author needs a hand 👏👏👏👏!

This start to a new series was fantastic! The characters were well developed and relatable. The plot with the various suitors, especially the ones old enough to be her father flowed seamlessly. The addition of Cynthia towards the end seemed to be a wonderful set up for the next book.

Dahlia Rose's Roux the Dae is a magically witty story. A lesson learned for character Dae Shaw about following instructions. Dae Shaw and Sean Kingsley have always been attracted to each other, but would only go as far as flirting. A Cook-off and a family braised beef recipe will push them together and give Sean some competition he never saw coming. It was an enjoyable read.

I absolutely loved this read. It has everything from love of a good man, love of a good woman, love of family and love of a good meal. Dahlia Rose did an excellent job of bringing the heat, a little drama, comedy and a whole lotta love and some steamy romance into this one. I highly recommend you adding this book to your collection. Now off to find the cookbook!!!

Fun loving romance with all the right ingredients. Dae and Sean was fun to read. It has humor, romance drama & a spell. Sean has been crushing on Dae since high school but was scared of her grandmother. When he finally gets the nerve to ask her out, things start to get wild and crazy. There are a lot of other elements in the universe at play. This is a great read!!

Tasty Tasty

This book was so good. I loved the good food mentioned throughout. I was torn at times I hungry, lusty & tired after reading the hot passion shared by Dae & Sean. I can truly
understand Dae wanting to know that Sean really & truly loves her. So come right on in. Sit for a spell & fall in love with amazing funny characters that I hope to read in any future books.

Needs serious editing!

Read 9/19/20 rated 4 out of 5 stars. Loved the book. Definately needs serious editing! Please writer....use a word processor or have someone else read it before publishing it! Very irritating when the reader has to guess what you meant.

Charmed Cookbook Series. It's a complete story, there are no cliffhangers. Dae and Shawn are cute and sexy. Their story has humor, great chemistry and unfortunate drama. I couldn't put it down. Recommended read.

Great book

Really good story. I loved the way ancestral history was woven in. I wish a few recipes would have been included at the end of the book, but I’m looking forward to the next book in the series.
