Former rodeo queen, Pearl Robinson, made one little mistake with her life. She married the wrong guy. Now divorced, she is coming back to her hometown of Armstrong, BC. She has a new job working as an instructor at the ranch of former town bad boy, Tim Wenger. She also has flu. When she arrives, she promptly collapses into her new boss' arms. That is only the beginning of the heat between Pearl and Tim. Rock Bottom Ranch is a ranch with a mission -- to help troubled teens through therapeutic riding. It doesn't take Pearl long to fall in love with her new job, her new students... and possibly also with her new boss. Together they will work to fight the town's opposition to what they are trying to do. Will they also find love and become a family along the way?
The author has captured the essence of the perfect western gal, confident on a horse and with her own sexuality. This book took me into a world I’m not familiar with, and I could almost feel the wind in my hair while on horseback, galloping down the meadow. A spicy romance and awesome realistic descriptions make this feel-good novel unique.
This is a great fun read, with engaging characters and a solid plot. There's a touch of a mystery to solve and a few dark secrets to come out. Very enjoyable
