I think it's funny that they keep reprinting this book with the same pictures, so all the kids look like they're from 1993, which is about when I read this and learned that I only had the patience to make the simplest of friendship bracelets, friendship bracelets are kinda gay for a boy (I was 12, remember), and besides, I didn't really have any friends anyway.

I still have the book somewhere though. Sigh.

This is not really a book. But I totally loved it. Very helpful and easy to follow guide. I can't forget how happy I was when I FINALLY found it in the bookstore!! I still have it with me and looking through it brings back memories. I even used to make these bracelets while the teacher teaching! Never been discovered!

I'm reviewing this here for moms everywhere! Despite spending endless hours making these bracelets as a girl, I couldn't remember how to make them in order to teach my daughter.

A quick tour through Amazon and we found this one, borrowed it from the library and one day while watching re-runs, my daughter got to work making bracelets - without needing guidance and step by step "Am I doing this right?" The instructions are simple, understandable and easy to follow. Win, win, win for me. I bought her a copy for keeps.

There are many advanced patterns that I was never taught in here as well and she has been having lots of fun trying those and experimenting to do her own thing. Hurray for finding summer activities and encouraging craft making!

It cracks me up that this "book" is listed here at all. A, because it's still being printed and I definitely bought it in about the 5th grade (I'm currently 25). And B, because it's not even really a book at all - at least I, personally, don't count instruction manuals on the same level as actual books with plotlines. Regardless, I did read it, and I made countless bracelets as a young'un, so I'm willing to give it 3 stars.

This was an AWESOME book that i read over the summer. Its not a real book, instead, more of an instruction guide. this is where i learned how to make all the friendship bracelets that i know how to make. Friendship bracelets are in style now, so if you want to be the one who makes them for their friends, you should definitely check out this book.

A wonderful book for getting kids started with friendship bracelets, it comes with threads and beads and the instructions can easily be used with any threads. Easy to follow illustrated instructions and well constructed, the book moves from simple to more complicated bracelet designs

This book has emerged from some remote hiding place and with the extra time that summer provides, the kiddos have been busy! We keep telling J. that forget silly bands, how about sister bands?

I got this book like 15 years ago or something, and I still have it. It's an awesome book that teaches 10 different patterns in an easy to understand way.
