I love this story from the first page. Hannah is traveling to the mountain town that her mother loved. She is going to explore the town and mountain and see what her mother loved so much. Hannah is single, Hannah is going to do some hiking, whitewater rafting and whatever else she feels good about. Soren is a fireman who loves his life on the mountain. He is going to be helping of the rafting trip. They meet and become rafting partners. There is excitement, danger, fabulous views, magnetism, hot sexy attraction, sexy passionate sex and so much more. Great story, great characters, and a heartwarming lasting love. Very enjoyable. Can’t wait until the next one in the series. Please enjoy.

Hannah’s Lyft pulls up to Betsy’s Famous Bed & Breakfast in Wylder Bluffs, Idaho. The owner, Betsy, reminded Hannah of an older version of her own mother. So much fun-loving energy. She asks Betsy what activities are available and Betsy leads her to the brochures. However, her attention is snagged by a firefighter calendar with the most delicious hunks for each month! She practically drools over the one named “Soren”, vocally admiring his muscles, looks, and pondering other attributes until Betsy stops her. Betsy tells her all the men in the calendar are locals. Then she sets Hannah up for white-water rafting the next day.

As she gets outfitted for the adventure, she walks down to where the rest of the small group is. She is admiring a gorgeous body as a guy takes his shirt off, and when he turns around, he looks at her and she is startled to see Soren, from the calendar! He’s a charming flirt in person, and his brother and sister-in-law are with them to keep him in line, just a little bit. As they head toward a waterfall, which Hannah wasn’t warned about, she ends up falling out and getting separated from the rest. Soren sees her, takes off his life-jacket which would slow him down, and dives in to rescue her. He tows her to shore and tells her they have to walk back to the parking lot. But he leads her through the woods, making their own trail, and suddenly she’s walking on gravel! Callum and Caitlin greet them. Then Soren offers to drive her to the B&B. He didn’t even ask her where it was, or use a GPS? But when Betsy steps out, she gets another surprise as she greets her nephew, Soren!

Soren came back later and knocked on Hannah’s door. He gave her 30 seconds to get dressed out of her PJs and took her for a drive. She told him to stop! She had seen the lake she hoped to find, one that meant so much to her mother. This had been the reason she came here! She took out the picture with her mom standing by this lake! Soren walks up behind her but says nothing. When she has cherished the memory, she turns back to Soren and tells him to take her to his home. He somehow expects her to freak out about something, but she trusts him. She closes her eyes as he leads her to … a church! He has her look up between the trees and there are thousands of stars overhead. They are in the Starry Sky Preserve and the church has the perfect view. So he salvaged it and made it his home. A huge skylight looks out to the starry view. A light switch provides a hundred twinkling lights everywhere. It was magical. And when he asked her what she was feeling, she said safe, protected, and loved. He agreed that she was. When he offered to take her home, she responded that he had saved her life that day, and she was already home. Would the two of them make a life together? Was this the magic she had been feeling since she arrived at the B&B her mother had loved?

This story was so perfect and loving as Hannah tried to honor her mother’s memory and learned that living a good life would do that very thing. The characters, both main and secondary, were incredible and added to the warm feelings. Friends and neighbors all felt like family. Would Hannah stay and make her life here with a sexy firefighter? Grab your copy and see what the future has for her.

Finding love and a home in the Starry Sky Preserve

Soren is the third book in the Wylder Mountain Heroes series and is the story of Soren and Hannah.
Hannah has come to Wylder Bluffs, Idaho for several days as a way to feel closer to her mother who died a year ago. He mother had loved this area when she was younger and Hannah has a picture of her standing in front of a beautiful lake with the mountains behind her. Hannah's plan is to find the lake, but without looking as she knows it will be revealed to her. When she arrives she is staying at Betsy's Famous Bed & Breakfast and is greeted with a big hug and smile. Betsy had known her mother so there is a sort of familiarity there. Hannah is not sure what there is to do while there but she wants to experience everything she can. Luckily for her Betsy shows her some pamphlets about local activities but it is the Fireman's Calendar that really catches her eye, especially when she finds the picture of Soren. "Huminah, huminah. This one! ...he is the dishiest man on planet earth!" It seems he not only looks like a Greek God but he also rescues dogs and like to whitewater raft. It seems Hannah has the first adventure of her stay when Betsy books her a reservation for the next morning.
Soren is a firefighter who is also an adrenaline junkie. His brother is Callum, whose story is in the previous book, and the boys aunt is Betsy.
After taking Soren to bed the previous night, well at least his picture in the calendar, Hannah arrives for her whitewater rafting tour. When she meets up with the group she finds there are four of them - Rhett the guide, Callum and Callie and to her great surprise Soren. Just her luck, or maybe a bit of knowing from Aunt Betsy, Soren and Hannah are paired up in the raft. Things don't quite go as planned when the group goes over a waterfall and Hannah ends up going for a swim. As she is getting caught up in the rapids and Soren and Rhett cannot reach her Soren decides to jump in and save her. After grabbing her and making sure she is alive Soren angles them to shore where they will have to hike back to the group. Along the way they get more acquainted and them some as they talk, hike, explore and has some interesting rest time. When they get back to the B&B Betsy greets them and Hannah discovers the family tie..........Oops, what exactly did she say the night before???
Later that evening Soren goes back to the B&B to get Hannah and take her to his place, which he is not sure she will not be scared off by. But along the way as Hannah is looking out the windows she finds what she was looking for, the spot the picture of her mother was taken. It seems that Hannah has found a home.

This is a charming and sweet, albeit quirky short story. I loved Hannah and Soren but it is really Aunt Betsy who stole part of the show with her knowing ways. It seems that Aunt Betsy is really an unsung matchmaker who also helps Hannah remember her mother in the most heartfelt way.

Soren is the third book in Tarin Lex’s Wylder Mountain Heroes. In this book we meet a dynamic couple, Soren, and Hannah. Soren is an alpha male fire fighter. Hannah is a sweet curvy beauty. Hannah comes to Wylder Bluffs to reconnect with her mother’s spirit. Feeling lost, dispirited, and fearing she is forgetting her mother, Hannah’s plan to find the secret lake in her mother’s photo. Will Hannah find what she is searching for? Will she find her soulmate? What is Soren looking for? How will Fate bring these two together? Curious as to the answers to these questions then you must read this book.
I enjoyed this strong character-driven romantic plot. Ms. Lex designs complex characters, both primary and secondary. I like the chemistry and dynamics between the two romantic leads. I appreciated the way she enhances her plot through her characters’ dialog. The banter between them is adorable. As to her secondary characters, its clever that she incorporates characters from her previous books. For instance, in this book, she includes Callum and Caitlin. This is a logical inclusion as Callum and Soren are siblings. Additionally, the inclusion of Ms. Betsy, the proprietor of Betsy’s Famous Bed and Breakfast is charming. She adds a bit of mirth to this plot. Readers can not help but deduce that she enjoys playing match maker. Additional gem is that she is the aunt to Callum and Soren. Lastly, I felt Ms. Lex’s use of descriptive language is masterful. Her wordsmithing allows her to paint vivid pictures. For example, when Hannah thinks about Soren during a romantic interlude, she thinks “he echoes my name, stirringly and course, like slow tires over gravel.” Readers not only visualize it but can feel it. Including an epilogue is another clever idea as it smoothly portends to a happily ever after for Soren and Hannah.

Longing for the memory of her mother voice, Hannah returns to the place her mother loved to go to have fun and to find that certain lake. Wylder Bluff and Betsy Bed and Breadfest. The day Hannah arrived she found plenty to do, that's when she spotted a calendar of firefighter and their pets and one caught her eye, and he loved to go whitewater rafting. The next morning Hannah decided to try it and pleased to see several there including her gorgeous firefighter, Soren.
Soren, a firefighter, longs to have a relationship like his brother and hopes some day it will happened. That when he sees a beautiful woman joining he and his brother and wife for whitewater rafting. From the first time she saw her Soren was hooked and needed to protect her and that's what he did when the raft capsized under a waterfalls. Is this love at first sight fir both?

Hannah visits Wylder Bluffs, like her mother did years ago. She's looking for the specific location from a picture. She goes whitewater rafting, where she meets Soren, the hot firefighter from a calendar, and an adrenaline junkie. She also meets Caitlin and Callum (from the last book). When the raft capsizes, he rescues her, but once they get to shore in one piece, they still have to walk back. Soren and Hannah make a really cute couple. He's looking for a loving relationship like his brother's, one that will last forever. She's trying to honor her mother's memory, never dreaming that she'll fall in love with her hot rescuer. I really enjoy this series of short books, and am looking forward to Wolff's story.

I voluntarily reviewed an arc of this book.

This is a wonderful addition to the Wylder Mountain Heroes series, it is a standalone story with no cliffhangers.

Hannah comes to the Wylder Mountains to connect with her mother's memory, she sees Soren as a sexy fireman in a calendar and is instantly smitten. Meeting Soren is different not what she imagined, was definitely better.
Soren is attracted to Hannah and goes to her rescue when she falls out the boat, their connection is strong and their chemistry sizzles.

Wonderful well-written story, incredibly entertaining, characters are incredibly likable. Fast-paced and quick to read.

Who doesn't like a Firefighter with a puppy! This book is about Soren, the firefighter and Hannah. Hannah is trying to reconnect with herself and her mothers memory. She goes into this town to find a missing link that will bring back what her mother was and a little remembrance of her voice. She is staying at a bed and breakfast that knew her mom which is also Aunt Betsy to Soren. Lovable woman! This is a short story and while Hannah is on her adventure Soren has made himself available to help guide her and guide his own heart. I love this story and his house is AWESOME!

First things first; I really like the cover of this book.
Soren is the third book in the ‘’Wylder mountain heroes’’ series. This story is short, fast paced and an enjoyable read. I read this book in one sitting and was satisfied throughout. I found the writing style easy to follow, the characters likeable and the storyline enjoyable. When Hannah visits a small town her late mother loved, she never expects to find love.
The chemistry between Soren and Hannah is clear to see and I liked them together.
I really liked the ending and the epilogue for this story.
The storyline for this book is easy to follow and it is an enjoyable read. I cannot wait for more books from this series.

I love every book that Tarin has ever written. Her stories are sweet with a HEA. Of course there is always a hurdle they must overcome. The hurdles in her books are not extended further then need be. An author who is straight to the point. Tarin has always had a way with making the characters relatable but also so out there at the same time it makes the story believable. I would highly recommend this book.

Fast-paced, heartwarming, and funny. This story is a quick journey, but well worth the trip. Hannah heads to the mountains her mother loved, looking for a way to honor her spirit. Never did she expect to fall in love and end up staying. Soren is a local firefighter, fun and lighthearted, and beyond sexy. They meet on an rafting expedition, but that's only the start of their adventure. And I must say, I LOVE Soren's house, unusual and exquisite. A fast read, but higly entertaining. Happy Reading!!

She notices a calendar with the local firefighter and puppies. She’s attracted to Soren. An activity of white water rafting adventure grants her the meeting of Soren. Adventurous Soren meets Hannah who is just beginning to spread her wings. Great storyline with the scenery playing a big part in this love story. Wonderful characters and fun to have some of the previous characters drop in on this novella. A sweet sorry about finding your happy place and letting go. Oddly enough, as sweet and sexy as this story was, I didn’t find it as engrossing as the other stories. I had a hard time actually feeling the chemistry between Soren and Hannah. It took a while and even in the end, it didn’t feel as genuine.

Hannah has a picture of her late mother taken when she had visited Wylder Mountain. Hannah would like to find this exact place in the picture to be close to her mother. In the mean time, Soren, a fire fighter of Wylder Mountain, has taken a notice of Hannah when she joins his group on a rafting trip. This is a fast paced and fun read of book 3 Wylder Mountain Heroes. Enjoy!

Pretty good

Hannah wants to relive some of her mom's adventures. Her mom loves the area and Hannah just wants to experience that. She goes on a white water raft trip and meets Soren. You don't get a really good idea about what makes Siren tick. You get Hannah, just not Soren. The book is cute though.
