Wow! Incredible start to a trilogy! Ending in a cliffhanger that draws you in from the start. This dark twisted romance! I can’t wait to read more! *I was given a copy and am voluntarily giving my honest review.

First Book... Violet and the Assassin
Holy feeke!!! This is the first book of a trilogy and WILL have a cliffhanger... but totally with getting sucked into!!! Violet Wynn is considered a young socialite especially with her powerful father and his unsavory business practices. Trying to strike out on her own in a positive light, Violet moves out and is now interviewing for her own job. That is until a dark haired man with an even darker gaze rescues her at a social gathering. Xavier Dyer is about to get revenge on the man that changed his life at an early age. Being an assassin for the elite group called Shades, Xavier fears nothing, has no feelings and is the best there is... until he gets a taste of Violet. She has no clue her days are numbered or why... Until she finds a gun in her face. What happens when Xavier can't pull the trigger and forces Violet in the run?? Love the dark theme of Xavier and Violet!! Great characters, his/her POV, suspense, intrigue and a chemistry from the start. I voluntarily reviewed an ARC of this book and ready for the second!!!

I loved this trilogy. A dark, complex read. The story does have a bug cliff so you may want to get book 2 right away. The story follows Xavier snd Violet. She comes from a well to do family, particularly her father. She is playing her part as a young socialite. Her father has power for sure but he’s also know for his less than honest business practices. Violet is trying to stand in her own light out from under her father. She moves out and is now interviewing for her own job. Then Xavier rescues her at a social gathering and his shadow deems all the more dark than her father’s. Xavier is determined to get revenge on the man that changed his life at an early age. Being an assassin for the elite group called Shades, Xavier fears nothing, then he finds Violet, like a lamb to the slaughter and he can’t get her out of his mind even though, she’s the target.

This is the first book in this series, told in dual first person POV and leaves you on a cliffhanger. This is a dark romance and does have some trigger warnings, so be cautious. Two complete opposites. One who’s dream is to be free. One who is sent to destroy. A magnetic pull, feelings unknown surface. Suspense, held breaths and the unknown. There are so many thoughts I have, but I have to keep reading first to get my full feelings. I love how she is able to knock down his walls. I love how he chose her over the only life he has known. I can’t wait to see how their story continues.

Violet has led a sheltered rich girl life but knows that she wants more so is now living on her own.
She struggles with her father's business and knows that he isn't a good man but still loves him.
Xavier is not a good man but he always completes his jobs that is until Violet is his latest target. The closer he gets to her the more he wants.

Wow!! I was hooked from the beginning. This is the 1st book in this trilogy and leaves with a cliffhanger. Xavier lost his parents at the age of 10, and has wanted revenge since. Violet, the daughter of the man responsible his parents death, lives her father, but wants a different life than what her father or his name represents. But what happens when Xavier can't follow through with the hit? Can Violet get away?
You are left with a cliffhanger and sitting on edge wondering what happens next...

If you like dark romance you'll enjoy this first book in the trilogy by Nicole York. It's full of fast action and suspense and it won't take you long to get drawn into Violet and Xavier's drama. She knows her father is a monster but she still loves him. Xavier has a contract on her and he always gets the job done. What happens when the chemistry between them starts exploding? A very intense thriller that's hard to put down. Great characters and a page turning story line. I read an arc via the author and voluntarily chose to review it. Can't wait for the next book in the series.

Violet Wynn is the very privileged daughter of a billionaire who has kept the dark side of his business activities a secret from his beloved daughter. Violet is the hit Xavier is contracted for to punish her father. Could there be a problem with delaying a night or two since he was enamored with her? This is so addictive a story, I could not put it down. This is 5 stars.

Wow. What a start to Violet and Xavier’s story. I’m not even sure what I can say about this book that won’t be giving it all away other than I’m completely and utterly hooked by it. I have no idea where the author will take us next, or even how this can possibly work out in our leading couple’s favor. I just know I NEED to know the rest of the story and I NEED to know it NOW!

This is book one in The Sins of The Night Trilogy and it is Violet and Xavier’s story. Xavier was a kill to hire and his latest target is the beautiful and stunning Violet who was nothing like he was expecting which caused complications. Violet was surprised by her reaction to Xavier especially as her father who was all about business was constantly setting her up with men that she wasn’t really interested in. The chemistry between Violet and Xavier was so instant, strong and intense that it sizzled off the pages but with the secrets that are surrounding them anything could happen next. There are twists and turns along the way that have you hanging on to the edge of your seat and then you get an explosive cliff hanger that had you needing to read the next book.

Yowza, such a thrilling start to this series! Violet and Xavier are such likable characters, for entirely different reasons. I could see the connection building between them, I knew something had to give, and I was on the edge of my seat watching it play out. So smokin' hot! I thought I knew what might happen then BAM, didn't see THAT coming and I LOVED IT! This is book 1 in a trilogy, so big cliffhanger, but I'm all in for this ride. Bring on book 2!

Violet and Xavier are at odds but have chemistry that is so intense it’ll make you swoon. Violet has no clue the extent her father is involved in illegal activities until she’s dancing with Xavier at a party and realizes he’s got a gun. After the best sex of her life he pulls the gun but she begs for her life. He demands she run but his boss is pissed and sends a second man with Xavier to track her down and finish the job. Definitely has a cliff hanger but totally kept me hooked.

Keeps you on the edge of your seat. Exciting. Drama filled. Anxiety riddled. Explosive chemistry between Xavier and Violet. An emotional roller coaster. This book makes you feel like your heart is going to explode. Will he? Won’t he? And if he doesn’t, how is he going to explain it. Will someone else take over and how can he keep them from their task? I can’t imagine how the next two books are going to be. My heart is still racing just getting ready to read the second book.

A very cleverly written book, It drew me in from the outset and the added background gave explanation of Xavier’s character. Some juicy scenes later and the book still has you gripped in how it’s all going to end. The book finishes on a cliff hanger, leaving you eagerly to carry on to the next book.

to end on a cliffhanger and boy it sure does.
The relationship between Xavier and Violet isn’t what
it seems to be.
Great plot with depth and the characters definitely drew

Waste of time
I read this long boring waste of time book for nothing. All the action I was waiting for never happened. Just a typical assassin not being able to pull the trigger on a pretty girl that he met for what two days and the result should be him losing his life. Give me a break. I won't even bother reading the other two books. I'm just glad they were free.!!!

A terrific start to a trilogy that was sexy, suspenseful and intriguing. Violet and Xavier were extremely engaging characters with an intense chemistry. An interesting plot has me gripped. Looking forward to reading the next books. I voluntarily reviewed an Advanced Reader Copy.

This is a great start to the trilogy, it's sexy and full of intrigue, but to tell you more would spoil the shock element of Violet and Xavier's story where people aren't necessarily whom they seem.
