Nicole York is a woman that loves the thrill of suspense. Whether that be flipping upside down on a roller coaster or sitting on the edge of her seat watching the latest thriller movie, she’s all in. If you see the sports car on the freeway flying by you, take a pic, because you probably just saw her!!
She is the one that always figures out the plot in the movie and comes up with the ending that no one else ever saw coming. It just serves her right that now in the books she writes sometimes the characters take the book a direction the author had not planned on.
This is book three in The Sins of The Night Trilogy and it concludes Violet and Xavier’s story and omg this series is definitely a must read. Wow what an ending to what has been an amazing series. Violet and Xavier are now on the run together and determined to keep each other safe and alive but there is so much uncertainty surrounding them but with danger all around and only having each other they are constantly on there guard and having to watch and be prepared for anything that is thrown at them because survival is there top priority if they want to survive and be together. Wow Wow Wow the twists and turns kept coming along with the danger, betrayal, suspense, hope, love and some serious situation and I couldn’t put this book down as the characters and storyline pulled you in and wouldn’t let you go and the chemistry between Violet and Xavier just got stronger and stronger as time went on. I definitely recommend that you read this trilogy and you will not be disappointed as it is well written, addictive and absolutely amazing.
Final book on this trilogy... and worth the nail biting wait!!! Xavier and Violet have come so far, fought the Shades, dodged and caught bullets...and fell in love. Trust isn't a thing either have in spades but in their unique situation they have each other. The final leg of their journey to freedom comes to an abrupt halt when they are separated and detained. Now they have a double whammy of threat from the Shades and Violet's monster of a father that started it all in the beginning. Xavier would give his life to ensure Violet remains safe. What happens when Violet finally witnesses the true cruelty of her father?? Can Xavier and Violet beat their odds for a safe and happy future?? OMG what a roller coaster ride!!! Love watching Xavier and Violet change with each page into the duo they become. A MUST READ trilogy!!! His/her POV, great characters, obstacles of life and death, and a HEA that's hard won. I voluntarily reviewed an ARC of this book and definitely added it to my favorites collection.
Finally, we find out what the outcome of Violet and Xavier's story is, having been teased, hooked and left hanging twice now I was eager to read this third and final book in their story. It did not disappoint, all three books are intense, well-written and exciting. Violet is in love with Xavier who is in love with her even if he never intended for that to be the case but will he be able to ensure her safety? Can there possibly be a happy ending to their fraught tale? I'm not saying you will have to read this series yourself, what I will say is be prepared to be hooked on these three books which when read consecutively deserve five stars.
This is the third and final book of this trilogy and told in dual first person POV. Okay, I was hooked and needed to know just how these two were going to get out of their dangerous predicament. I loved Violet’s and Xavier’s relationship. I loved that she finally found her true self. I loved that whole Pocahontas/Rambo vibe at the end. I would love to see Clara get her own book(s) as well. I do wish that I would’ve gotten to see what happened with Dannie, Arman and Violet’s father though.
I received an advance reader’s copy via BookFunnel. This review is my own thoughts and opinions and left voluntarily.
Well. I’m not quite sure what to say now. Particularly as most of the things I think I want to say to describe this book would be giving away all its secrets. It’s not quite the ending I thought we’d see, but it’s almost everything I was hoping Violet and Xavier would get. There’re still a couple of things I would have loved to have learned the answers to, but all in all, I’m very happy with where our leading couple are at the end of this story. I received a complimentary copy of this book from the author.
Fantastic. A great series. This book will have you tied up in knots. More anticipation than waiting for ketchup to come out of the bottle. You don’t want this series to end. You want it to keep going because it’s so good. I have no idea how this book is going to end but I know it’s going to be a fabulous ending. This book will have your teeth grinding, your heart racing, not able to sit still, and waiting for the next attack. Excellent storyline, and excellent characters.
This could’ve been a good story if it had an ending. I hate cliffhanger that make you buy the next book and then another. With the page count being less and less in each book plus using the first chapter, so in the book repeating the last chapters of the previous book.. There’s no reason why this could not have been a one book story. I won’t be buying another from this author and I’m deleting it from my library.
A great finale to the series with some questions still unanswered. Wow, what a great series that is hard to put down. Overflowing with drama, danger and suspense. The chemistry between Violet and Xavier is off the charts. An amazing series that you will love. Hard to say more without being a spoiler. I received an arc copy via the author and voluntarily chose to review.
The final part lived up to expectations with Violet’s father showing his true colours. Despite a heavy beating yet again they survive another shoot out to bring their story to a happy ever after of sorts, despite having to remain on the run. An enjoyable series with non-stop action, both in the bedroom and out. Well worth reading.
The final book in the series does not disappoint. Xavier and Violet are fighting for everyday and to keep each other alive. They get the answers to all the questions. Her father shows his true colors and gets everything he deserves. I really loved the fast-paced story with the danger, drama, and attraction.
Great conclusion to the Sins of the Night series. It's an exciting story filled with violence and danger as well as the steamy romance. The characters are strong and the scenes are painted perfectly moving the story fluidly. I loved this book/series and would recommend reading.
I voluntarily reviewed an ARC of this book. All opinions in this review are my own and freely given.
Wow this is a great ending to this series!! Both Violet and Xavier have changed so much since book 1!! The twists and turns are phenomenal. They are still on the run during this book, and for a while I thought they were done. I loved the ending, though hurt for Violet when she faced her father. I highly recommend this trilogy!! I received an ARC copy from the author and freely give my review
This is the third book in the trilogy and it doesn't disappoint. Violet and Xavier are running for their lifes but with so many after them can they make it out alive. So many twists and turns with plenty of drama and suspense that keeps you reading and hoping they get their HEA. I voluntarily reviewed an advanced reader copy of this book.
Xavier & Violet’s conclusion. Violet is everything to me. I'm not even sure I'll survive this, but I'll do anything to keep her safe. She's so much more than I ever imagined—fierce, passionate, and strong. I was hired to kill her, and now I'll face down anyone who tries to harm her. It was an intriguing read. And am voluntarily leaving my review.
This is the final part to this trilogy and yes definitely have to be read in order . Violet and Xavier are on the run for their lives. In this book the action suspense twists and turns are no stop. There’s just the right amount of steam right throughout the trilogy that it balances everything out just nicely. I voluntarily reviewed a copy of this book
Violet and Xavier are still trying to get away but find themselves being kidnapped by her father and being in a shootout where Violet has to pull bullets out of Xavier and see his wounds. She has to choose between Xavier and her father before it’s too late. This series was incredible and definitely worth the read.
DARK LOVER Sins of the Night Book 3 by Nicole York This is the 3rd and final book in this series. It is just as good and well written as the previous 2 books. Xavier is in love with Violet and she is in love with him. Can he keep her safe? Will there be a happy ending? Read this series and see! I am sure you will enjoy it as much as I have. This is 5 stars.
This trilogy so far has been excellent and picks up where the 2nd book left off. Xavier and Violet were on the run together now. He couldn’t kill her. In the course of protecting her, he’s been shot - twice. Now Violet is looking for him to help him. The story is a rollercoaster of emotions and has a great ending. Not to be missed.
Of course this trilogy ends with a bang! More chases and shootouts and showdowns. Xavier and Violet have to make tough choices to be together. Will they survive and get their HEA? I absolutely LOVED this, I highly recommend this author and I can't wait to read more!
