First thing I need to get this off my chest.
Pay for a proof reader! And if you did , then demand a refund.
This book is riddled with grammatical mistakes. Words missing from sentences or the wrong word in place making you guess how sentences are supposed to read. and misspellings galore. I thought it would be fun to turn it into a drinking game but decided against it as didn't want to make a visit to the ER for alcohol poisoning.
Now that I got that out of the way.....
Wholly Freak!
What a ride this book has been! I would never have imagined it.
Great characters, twists ad turns you won't see coming, kick ass fight scenes. And the chaos! The glorious chaos!
Can't wait for the next chapter in this new series. Hope Becca ad the gang is in it. Fingers crossed for the return of Mr Black and Mr. Red.

The story is good, following a group of teenagers being held in a secure institution because they have changed gender and developed special abilities thanks to chemicals their mothers drank during pregnancy.

The book focuses on Rebecca, formerly Rick, from the day of her capture and arrival at the institute. What Matthew has done is bring in a group of complicated characters before explaining how and why they have turned out the way they did. Then he gives us a big finish.

The problem with this book is that it needs the attention of a good editor. No matter the reasons, the book is difficult to reader due to the sheer number of errors in the writing.

Good Sci-fi book

I enjoyed the read, despite the numerous grammatical and spelling errors. A good edit should be done prior to book 2.
