This was an author freebie of a Kindle ebook. It is a prequel to the longer Ixan Legacy.

I had previously read books with our hero Captain Husher. This is more of the same. Very brief as this is intended to be a prequel. Lives up to its purpose.

Have a GoodReads.

Received a free ebook copy. The book is well written and interesting - just not sure this is my kind of read. The personal conflicts were good, but the battleship jargon left me a little bored

Not a stand alone book. But for it's short size it gives good background if you already know the universe.

A short taste and teaser. It was good enough to get me to start soon on the rest of the "Ixan" set, which I see I already have in my Kindle library.
