The shortest work of Keener’s that I have read turns out to be an occasional paper. In that light, it’s one of the longest occasional papers I have read with a mere 350+ footnotes. Such an underachiever. 🙄🙄

So worth the effort. His understanding of the transcendent Mission of God is worth every minute required.
