Eli:

A goddess told me my child would change the pack.
Until it happened, I didn't believe it.
Not until I saw it with my own eyes.

My woman is a nurturer. She's a bringer of change. A broker of the future.

She deals with emotions, sees auras, and glories in the urges of her three alpha mates.

To me, she's the saint.

But that doesn't make me or my brothers sinners.

We were fated to be together, fated to be different. There's nothing sinful in what we have, even if, in the eyes of her family, we're a disgrace.

She's Roma. Born and bred. Harkens from a rich culture, as ancient as my own, but with her heritage comes gifts I could never have foreseen. Not just for her, but her siblings as well.

Two are dead, the other has yet to be found. But uncovering family secrets is always dangerous without throwing mystical powers into the fray.

And these mystical powers?

Will change everything.

A revolution is underway.

We're not prepared for it. We can't be.

Are you?

It was like I was a precious gem, a jewel to be protected and cosseted at all times, but equally to be rough with. I was the doll that was looked after, that was loved and played with, but I wasn’t the porcelain one that was put on a high shelf for nobody to touch. - Sabina

Speechless

I'm literally at a loss for words right now. It's a good thing for you as a reader but a horrible thing for me. I usually write long, in depth reviews, especially for a Serena Akeroyd book, because I have so much to say and I do, but I can't because otherwise I will give something away and I don't do spoilers and I can't spoil this book for readers.

Serena Akeroyd is an amazing world builder. There was a lot left unsaid in Wolf Child, our introduction into the Highbanks pack and Serena Akeroyd's brand of wolf shifter story telling. Moon Chuld brings all the characters from Wolf Child front and center and builds off them to give us our Moon Child in a very unexpected way. I did not see this booking going in this direction and I'm absolutely floored how great it is. The way she weaves her stories leads to questions being answered in a smooth and organic manner that leaves you satisfied while simultaneously dropping twists for the next round that has you wanting to throw your book across the room. Be prepared to love the weird and unexpected, all done in the best way possible. A lesser author wouldn't be able to weave the details and twists she unleashes in this book together and have everything make perfect sense! Per usual, expect a cliffy to slap you in the face and if the last one is any indicator Sun Child will have us on the edge of our seat when it rolls out. I highly recommend this book.

THE REVIEW FOR THE BOOK MOON CHILD BY SERENA AKEROYD
*ARC PROVIDED IN EXCHANGE FOR HONEST OPINION>*
GENREPARANORMAL REVERSE HAREM SHIFTER ROMANCE.
AUTHOR:SERENA AKEROYD.
TYPE:BOOK #2 OF THE YEAR OF THE WOLF SERIES.
POV:MULTIPLE POV...FIRST PERSON.
MY RATING: 5 STARS.

Sabina and her three mates are living and nurturing their pack for years now. Motherhood has changed Sabina's life forever. But there are some burdensome situations that led her to reach out to her sister for help. Moon goddess has assured her the safety of her child but on the expanse of what? Will they be able to afford the price ? or are there more hurdles in the corner for her and her mates?

Shoot!!! I wasn't expecting this book to be soo good... It was perfection...everything comes to a whole circle ..the truth is revealed ..the secrets are unveiled... the betrayals have come to light...
I love that even though this book is focused on our main characters...there is still some plot going on the background which will not be clear asap but we will get to learn the truth with the characters itself.
Amazing new characters with mind-boggling powers have entered in this book and I adored all the characters even the villains have a deep story which we can sympathize.
I was so happy to get to know more about Eli, Ethan, and Austin's past...this really cleared some questions I had in WOLD CHILD... some of my queries are answered here and some have arisen in this book which I am sure will be cleared in the next and last book...
It was so magical to be on this journey... To see the love between these mates was amazing...as the story proceeds their love for each other has increased tremendous fold and I love that!!!

Overall, I love the plot of this book and I just can't get enough of this author's writing...
Sun child... I need it now!!!

Moon Child is the second book in the moon trilogy and this author has out done herself again. I'm now waiting with bated breath for the third and final book Sun Child to see how she tops this one.
Once again we get to see the wonderful bond between Sabina, Eli, Austin and Ethan. The three men are drool worthy on their own, but together just WOW!
We meet their newborn son Knight right away and the love between all of them comes through the pages all throughout the book.
We also finally meet Sabina's sister Lara, who was introduced at the end of the previous book Wolf Child.
Lara has Roma power's that are different from Sabina's, but also very unique to her. I dont want to get to much into them and spoil anything.
Throughout the book there are many secrets revealed as well as mysteries. There is a lot for the main characters to cometo terms with as well as the pack. Much is changing but are they ready for these changes?
Serena Akeroyd has written this compelling book so well that you don't want to put it down. She has weaved so much history into this one book that you don't want it to end. Moon Child is a definite must read after Wolf Child.

Moon Child the second book of The Year of The Wolf series is a perfect continuation following the lives of Sabina, Eli, Ethan and Austin introducing their son Knight, her sister Lara, Daniel and Todd. With so many twists and turns, in true Serena style, has you enthralled and gasping throughout. And that ending omg!!! I can't wait till The Sun Child comes out. Truly brilliant as ever ❤

This was an incredible story. I loved Wolf Child, and Moon Child is even better. As the story blossoms from a simple shifter love story to a beautiful combination of several different myths, some real, some imagined, the depth of plot was fascinating. It felt like every little detail had a world of meaning behind it. Like every single thing was chosen to further the tale. It was a breathtaking piece of storytelling. The drive and pace were perfection. The emotion and heart were gut wrenching at times, in the best possible way. It was absolutely stunning!

I always love Serena's books. They're real, emotional and somehow they always teach me something about myself, my desires and possibilities. Moon Child is the second book in the series and it picks up where Wolf Child is left off. We are introduced to Lara, Sabina's youngest sibling, and how she becomes part of their lives, their story and their future. This book shows new discoveries, and some crying and hurting, but always bringing a new light in their lives. Don't miss 9ut on this sequel.

This book had me sitting at the edge of my seat THE WHOLE TIME! So many plot twists, so many questions answered, so many more questions, so many tears and me screaming at nothing. The ending had me just looking off into space for a good five minutes. Again, Serena is a genius and you have to read this book!

Bloody hell this book is just jam packed full of plot twists, turns and backstories. Continuing on from Wolf Child (Book 1) Sabina (FMC), Eli, Austin and Ethan life for them isnt going to be a quiet one. With uncovering truths about family, family members turning up (not all of them welcome), Fighting, Premonitions and Prophesies. So much so to keep you on your toes. My heart went out to Daniel though. I loved him from book 1. That ending though?? Flaming hell!! Now im dying to get my hands on the next book. This series is just getting better and better

Unbelievably good! I have been completely enraptured by this story. As I started reading this story, I found myself getting lost in the raw, pure emotion that emanates from it, powerful and intoxicating. This new series by Serena Akeroyd just keeps better and better.

Moon Child brings us back to the story of Sabina, Eli, Ethan, and Austin. We delve deeper into the shifter world, get to interact with other shifter packs, learn more about the secrets that surround Sabina and her family, and get to fall even more in love with Sabina’s mates. Eli, Ethan, and Austin are amazing! There is so much going on in this story!

Moon Child is well-written and well-crafted, with intriguing characters, great dialogue and steamy love scenes. The way the story is conceived, the mystery surrounding the destiny of all these wonderful characters, is just so magical. Every scene propels the story forward in the most amazing way.

And there is such a richness and depth to this story that I rarely find. The mythology of the shifter world in this series is culturally rich with so much attention to detail. It is melded with the traditions of the Roma people, Asian folklore, and the world of regular humans to create a robust world with unique intersections of all these beliefs.

If you’re looking for an epic shifter story, look no further. The Year of the Wolf series has everything you could ever want and so much more than you ever could have imagined!

Moon Child is LIVE🎉🎉🎉
I loved loved loved this book y’all!!!! @serena_akeroyd just released her second book in the Year of the Wolf series and it was phenomenal!!!!

This was the sequel to Wolf Child and I was really impressed with how the story line continued! Akeroyd did a fantastic job of continuing the existing story line while keeping the plot on point. I loved how we jumped POVs from each of the characters, including some new ones!!

Our favorite girl Sabina was back with all of her men and I loved being able to see how they had settled into their new roles and navigate each other. We were also introduced to some new people!!!

Sabina’s sister Lara was a new character to us and we were also introduced to Todd, Lara’s mate!!!! Their chemistry was incredible and I loved the twist on their story!!

Really big fan of this series. I love paranormal, shifter series and this is one that offers so many different aspects and facets to this series! Can’t recommend it enough!!!

Another amazing sequel!

The author Serena has quickly become my favourite author this year. She has given yet another new release here that I just had to read and review straight away.

This is the sequel to Wolf Child and starts exactly where it ended on a cliffhanger so jumps right in with a bang.

I'd definitely start with Wolf Child if you haven't read yet. There was lots of questions I had during the last book as it really built the story and the world. Moon Child was great in answering them but still keeping me guessing on what would happen next throughout.

I enjoyed that we still got to see all the characters from before but we get to know Sabina's youngest sister  Lara more and dig into the family dynamics. This was by far perfectly set up and built upon showing off more of the authors writing.

I loved the twists and turns so much throughout I literally screamed at the ending. It has me wanting to read Sun Child so much. If its half as good as Moon Child then it will definitely be my favourite PNR Trilogy. I can't wait!

OH MY GOD. I don't know what to say, I'm speechless. This was AMAZING. 100 times better than Wolf Child and that really says something.

Many lives start getting interconnected and tangled with each other.
We're introduced to Lana and her fate along with Sabina and her family's future. With so many new things learned, twists introduced, there are many relevations yet to come out.
There are much more creatures than just werewolves.

Be ready to expect the unexpected, to sit in shock while reading trying to comprehend what just happened.

I'm on edge waiting for the next book in The Year of of the Wolf series, because this one was absolutely mind boggling.

•• Note: Read Wolf Child before reading this as both the books are interconnected which then will also be with the upcoming third book.

It’s an extraordinary thing when a book can transport you. When a book makes you feel not like you’re just reading the story, but you’re a part of the conversation. Like Moon Child, this reviewer felt like part of the Highbanks Tribe, which was pretty freakin excellent. Not only did we continue the love story Sabina and her mates, this trip we got introduced to Sabina’s sister Lara and her mate. The story went in so many amazing directions, I never knew what was going to happen next and I just didn’t want to put the book down because I had to know what was going to happen next! I also found it fascinating that the story was so descriptive that when the characters would shift into wolves, I kinda felt like a wolf myself….watching what was going on around me. Breathtaking. I can’t wait for Sun Child.

I think I feel more in love with this book than the first if that is even possible. All the emotions were once again brought to the forefront. A box of tissues was definitely needed. I loved the interactions between Sabina and her sister Lara. Their personalities and their powers are everything. Seeing them work together, protect each other and their family with the help of their mates was everything. You won’t be disappointed with this read. The world Serena has managed to build with this series is amazing. It’s so well written that you won’t want to leave it.

Getting to know Daniel more and his role in the future was really awesome. I can’t wait to see what is in store for his future. All the characters are so well written that you can’t help but fall in love with them, even Seth. Get ready to go on this adventure and learn more about what the future will hold for Sabina and her family.

This book definitely went in a different direction than I thought. While I knew this would be centered around a pack of shifters, I didn’t figure it would be about Sabina and her mates again. It marries her story with her sister’s, so not only do we have Sabina, Eli, Austin, and Ethan again, but we also have Lara and her mate. This book picks up right where Wolf Child left off, and we finally get an understanding of that final scene in Wolf Child where Lara and Sabina are on the phone.

There’s something very strange happening with Sabina and her siblings, and we knew they were different from the first book. When Sabina’s mate explains everything, you really get a feel for the research and work Serena Akeroyd put into this book. There’s a whole mythology behind these shifters that’s unique to any other PNR I’ve read. This perked my ears up and I loved reading more and more about what’s going on in these two packs so much.

This is the second novel in The Year of the Wolf series. Serena Akeroyd is amongst my favorites. This book did not disappoint.

In addition to continuing the story of Sabina, Eli, Austin, and Ethan, she introduces us to Sabina’s sister Lara. As with Sabina, Lara has lived a life of pain, although more psychological as versus the emotional and physical pain her sister enduring.

Amongst the things I enjoyed about this book is that that the character of Todd is not a typical Alpha shifter. His strength does not lie in his dominance. I also loved that he was Korean. We do not see enough Asian characters out there.

Another the things that author has done in this book is have multiple POVs. I really have liked this in other books she has written and enjoyed it in this book as well.

Serena Akeroyd does not take the expected route in her universes, and I can’t be happier about that. I very much am looking forward to the third book in the series.

A brilliant continuation of this trilogy. I couldn't put it down. As the story of Sabina and her mates, Eli, Austin and Ethan progresses, we learn more about their relationship and pack life. This story is full of twists and turns, surprises, heartache, love, ends in one hell of a cliffhanger and simply a must-read!

Moon Child builds up right where Wolf Child leaves the tale. We come back into the lives of Sabina, Eli, Austin, and Ethan along with their child Knight. We are introduced to Sabina's youngest sister and her mate of course. It wouldn't be a romance if the story didn't properly continue, amirite? The story pacing was wonderful as always, no rushing to keep the plot going and the different points of view worked to fill every nook and cranny to perfection. So much was uncovered within the webs of family bonds that helped make the characters so life-like and relatable. I will be patiently waiting for the third book Sun Child compared to the cliffhanger that shocked me with Wolf Child.

The first book is this series, I absolutely devoured. It is amazing! Sabrina, Eli, Ethan and Austin soon became my favourite harem. The beginning of the book, Sabrina mentioning “something” affecting her, which I live with day in and day out, basically sealed the deal as my new favourite book!

However, this book, it’s completely overtook book 1! The plot twists had me addictive. I couldn’t put this book down. All the characters I’ve grown attached to in book 1, we got to see and experience more. I’ve become attached to the new characters and I need more because I have so many questions! I cannot wait for Sun Child! I need more of Daniel!

That part about we get to see and experience more? Well, anything you read by Serena is an experience. This is such a fantastic piece of work, that I hope if you are reading this, that you give it a go. You will not regret it!

Moon Child was absolutely phenomenal! The storyline was original and intriguing! There were so many amazing concepts and creatures.

This book was full of action and mystery. There was so much to love about this book. From the depth filled characters, to the unique storyline, to the amalgamation of brilliantly crafted shifters and fates aligned.

Each character brought such depth to the story. All bringing a unique angle and view to what was going on like seeing the story through 6 different eyes.

Highly recommend this book!

Wow! Serena knows how to keep a reader guessing. This book was full of so many twists and turns, things you didn't see coming, and lots of questions for the future. I'm just in awe at the way this world of the shifters has been developed. Not only do we continue the story of Sabina and her mates, but we meet Lara, Sabina's sister, and learn about her life. I still have so many questions here, and I can't wait to find out more answers. But this book keeps you going, wanting to know more. The intricacies of the tale here are amazing, the foreshadowing of what's to come in future books also makes me want to read the next one as soon as it releases. I cannot wait to see how Serena brings these characters to the next part of their story.

Serena is such a master at building universes and Moon Child is no exception to this. I love the way that she can blend a new story into the continuation of the previous. I love the multiple POVs. I wouldn't say that shifter romances are my favourite but this series is definitely changing my mind. Can't wait for Sun Child.
