Cannabis is Medicine is an exceptional and educational book that I advise all to read. I learned so much about the plant, cannabis, and how it has positively affected many individuals’ lives. It was thrilling to see read about how many people in the world have benefited from this plant and were able to get better from it instead of using unsafe or extremely strong medications/antibiotics. If you are a person who loves seeing people feel better and become happier, then this book is perfect for you! There were multiple instances in this book where I noticed a smile forming on my face because I was reading about people finally healing and living a better life. I strongly suggest reading this book, and who knows, maybe you will use cannabis at some point in your life to help you in one way or another!

Such an incredible document of the medical uses of cannabis, and how it interacts with your body on a scientific level. Goes deep into the science, while still feeling accessible and easy to understand. The added first-hand stories really rounded things out, and had me tearing up a few times tbh. Truly insane how stigmatized this plant is, and how it is taught against in school when it has so many uses and an incredibly low amount of dangerous side-effects, especially when compared to legal medical alternatives. Anyway, I can’t believe I’m literally a huge nerd about weed now.

This may the most informative, concise, understandable and interesting factual book I've ever read.

What a wonderful world we know so little about. I would really encourage everyone to read this book. I mean everyone. There is an unbelievably large amount of conditions, diseases, and problems that can be helped with by this plant. The endocannabinoid system that exists in our brains and bodies is practically unheard of by the average person but it plays such a significantly high roll in the homeostatis of our bodies.

The amount of propaganda surrounding cannabis that emerged from the 1900s has sincerely skewed majority of the population's view of the plant, despite it being an accredited and highly documented medicine, for 1000s of years.

As someone who uses CBD on a regular, daily basis in order to aid in overstimulation, pain, stimming, anxiety and general mental clarity from over-processing, I have never found so much relief as I have from this incredible plant.

I cannot recommend this book enough. If you are in anyway interested in medicine, your brain, plants, or even just educating yourself better with the uproar of tremendous research within the last century, this book is a must read. 1000s of credible references, and truly eye-opening.

I cannot commend and thank Dr Goldstien enough for making this information so plainly accessible, this book has changed my life, truly.

The book is stuffed with studies and real-life stories about how cannabis has been an effective treatment for people with all kinds of health issues. I was looking for something that didn't just hype up cannabis without the facts to back it up, and this book delivered. It's written in a way that's easy to digest, so you don't need to be a scientist to get it. Honestly, it's made me see cannabis in a whole new light, and I'm definitely keeping this book close by for future reference. If you're curious about the the medical uses of cannabis, check this one out.

This enlightening volume is well-researched and explained. The level of depth leans toward textbook territory, so as an audiobook (my experience) it was a bit challenging because you’re not seeing the words on the page and can’t easily refer back to earlier statements. Nonetheless, it opened my eyes to value of medical cannabis and hopefully will contribute to the value of more scientific trials and documentation of its effects; as well as certified products with dependable potency standards.

Excellent book for reference, guide, and information for those wanting to use cannabis for medicinal reasons. Lots of science in it, but those who wanting to get straight to how it will work for them will find that the book is divided well, and is easily indexed so one can find what they want quickly.

I read this book out of necessity. But this is a book I'd have enjoyed and find useful regardless. The spectrum of conditions for which cannabis offer strong healing powers is just too wide, everyone should know about it.

This definitely much more of a reference book than a book to read straight through, but I do really appreciate the amount of scientific researches shared in this book about all of the medically beneficial aspects of cannabis. The real life stories are touching as well

This book connected many dots about how and why cannabis can impact so many disease structures. Everything we need exists in nature. This book is chockfull of nuggets and will find a place next to that old standard, Back to Eden.

Highly recommend. We need nurses, doctors, pharmacists trained in the use of cannabis for medical purposes. This book does not intend to support that thought necessarily, but I sure does. I learned so much….and that comes from an old “hippie”

Gone are the days of Reefer Madness. This book is a refreshing and scientifically validated overview of the far-reaching benefits of cannabis for the whole body. It delves into how to properly use it and ways to minimize side effects as well.

This book is an excellent introduction to medical cannabis for both the lay person and health professional. As a nutritionist I have seen CBD increasingly being advertised for health purposes, but was not familiar with it. I learned a lot about the benefits and potential problems with medical cannabis from this book. There is lots of documentation of appropriate research as well as case success studies from a number of the author's patients.

Well worth the time to read and I'll refer to it often.

I'm doing a trial of low-THC oil in hopes it will help more with my intractable pain from osteoarthritis than other things my primary doctor and I have tried and had to abandon in the past year. The dispensary was able to give me basic info ("start low and go slow" is my new mantra), but I knew there had to be more info out there. This book is an excellent starting point to all the amazing uses for cannabis as a medical treatment. It occasionally steers into "academic-style" reading, but it still gave answers to many questions I had, and is packed with information, including links to research available as of the time of the book's publication. I recommend this title as an excellent starting point for anyone who's considering CBD and/or cannabis as a medical therapy for any of the wide range of illnesses it can help with.
