Review for Because of You by Fabiola Francisco. This small-town romance oozes so much sweetness. Sawyer and Ada meet one time but cannot forget the kiss they shared. Now, their paths have crossed again, and they are ready to see where this feeling they have taken them. Add in an adorable seven-year-old River and this is the perfect story to fall into and relax with. Grab this one immediately and fall in love with this soon to be family.

Because of you, a novella part of the Aced: Charity Anthology was super cute and a sweet read. Sawyer and Ada had a great connection and River was the cherry on the sundae. This story will give you the warm fuzzies.

This is for Because of You by Fabiola Francisco.
It is a wonderful read. I could feel the connection between the characters the moment they met. I couldn't stop reading this book.

♡ Review for BECAUSE OF YOU by Fabiola Francisco ♡

OH MY GOODNESS!!! This novella was E-V-E-R-Y-T-H-I-N-G!
I knew right from the beginning that it'll be a wonderful love story and will make me swoon all the way through this novella!
Awwwww!!
Because Of You is the beautiful love story of Ada and Sawyer.
Both met one night out in Nashville. They kissed and never were able to forget it.
Well... 2 months later they meet again.... in Springville and they're both really surprised about it. Ada is the new teacher of Sawyer's son River... and that's where it gets complicated. She can't start a relationship with  Sawyer when River is her new student! Damn it!
What'll they do? Can they ignore their special connection? Or will they just give in and deal with the consequences? FIND IT OUT YOURSELF!!!

Just let me tell you that this novella was WONDERFUL! I loved all characters right from the beginning and was happy to see Mackenzie & Hunter (from Memories Of Us) again as well!! This novella left me with such a warm feeling inside my belly! Yes, I'd say it feels more like butterflies are flying around right now because the story of Ada and Sawyer was really really good.
The only thing I'm sad about right now is that I read it too fast!

Three School Related Novellas
Because of You 5* by Fabiola Francisco - Sawyer and Ada connected on a dance floor but then went their separate ways. Their second meeting is just as unexpected as the first, when Sawyer’s son River becomes a pupil in Ada’s classroom. Living in the same town makes it difficult to ignore their chemistry but how will a relationship affect River and Ada’s job as a teacher? Lovely romance.
Holding Harper 5* by Jennifer Bonds - Harper’s friend Bri drags her along to a frat party and when some drunks throw her sandal up on the roof of the house, Chase (out to impress the hot girl) climbs up a drainpipe to get it. Needless to say things do not end well. When Harper has to look after him as a student nurse at the hospital, her guilt about the part she played in his accident eats away at her but luckily he doesn’t recognise her. Loved how this story unfolded and how they got to know each other.
Boone’s Girl 4* by Tracy Broemmer - Three friends, one couple, internal demons, old loyalties. I was really invested in this story and then it ended abruptly and felt unfinished.
I voluntarily read and reviewed an advanced copy of this book from one of the authors. All thoughts and opinions are my own.

Fabiola Francisco- Because of You - I love that each time I open a Fabi read, it’s as if I’ve been transported into a Hallmark movie. I get the small town Americana feel, and all the fun and drama that comes with it. It’s something that can bring back that sweetness after a particularly dark read.

This one started a little different than they normally would, and I liked the change up. It was fun, a punch of passion right off the bat, and made for a more enjoyable read. Plus, I’m kind of partial to Ada’s choice of names for her alias. ;) The slow burn between Sawyer and Ada is just... mmm... it’s like a warm blanket has been wrapped around me, and someone is slowly turning up the heat. Sawyer, the sexy single dad and new doctor, is just perfect with a capital P, then add in his cute son River! *SWOON*.

Between the cute date ideas, and the sassiness of Ada, it was like this story was written just for me. (No hard feelings all, I just call dibs on this world ;)) Always a pleasure to read Fabi, and another great read. I definitely recommend.... I guess I can share with you all. :)

Have you read Mignon Mykel before? If not, you are missing out. Eek. If you have... HOLY COW, here is a sneak peak, going back into one if my favorite book worlds. SO EMOTIONAL.

OMG do you want a beautiful taste of Sawyer and Ember? Yum. This short story gives “ALL THE FEELS”. It is set right after Sawyer’s family has experience a huge loss. He is one of the older single brothers from a beloved series. He also is a high school teacher/coach. Double Yum! He is watching his younger brother’s children while the parents have a get away weekend. The fact that this bachelor brother is willing to watch three children under the age of three for a long weekend is impressive. Yikes.

Ember the preschool teacher for Sawyer’s twin niece and nephew, is introduced to our sexy hero when he drops them off for school. Can you say instant attraction?! Wink wink.

Ugh I don’t want to give it all away but this story is filled with “ALL KINDS” of sexy and sweet. I love how both of these characters are looking for something more. Life events have them questioning their singleness. Add the awesome interaction with the kids and even my past expiration date ovaries did a flip. Sigh.

So be forewarned, this is a sampling of this story. Plan to be left wanting more. SOOOO GOOD.

Happy Reading Everyone! XOXO

Because of You - Fabiola Francisco

Sawyer and Ada are perfection. I loved this sweet story of second chance love. Both characters are wonderful and the story left me feeling over the moon. I'd love to see more of these two in the future.

Sawyer isn't opposed to finding someone new, but it isn't at the top of his list. All it takes is one look and these two are instantly drawn to one another. He never thought he would see her again and is surprised to find she is his son's 2nd grade teacher. Ada never thought she'd fall for a student's parent and she has to determine whether to follow her heart or face the consequences.

They can't fight their feelings for one another and try hard to keep their relationship quiet. But someone finds out and word gets around. This two are in it for the long haul and won't give up on their hearts.

Can't wait to read the rest of the books in this collection.

Because of You - Fabiola Francisco

I love the idea of randomly meeting someone that you can't take you mind off and wonder what if. Sawyer & Ada's first meeting was hot...and then cold. The second chance, though...unexpected and meant to be. It was hard not to root for them, even though a relationship may have been frowned upon. And who could not love River? My only complaint...I want more!

Ember Glow by Mignon Mykel
⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

I am a huge Mignon Mykel fan. I’d probably read a cookbook if she wrote one. The thing that I love most about her writing is that she writes in one world. I’ve “met” Smith in previous books and I was excited to read about Smith. I loved the little glimpse into his story. I especially loved the cameo of Grace and Sawyer, who are my favorite couple!

The preview of Ember Glow was a nice hook for me while I patiently wait for the full story.

My review is only for Because of You by Fabiola Francisco

If you love small-town romances then you better get reading Fabiola’s stories. She is the master.

Because of You is the perfect back-to-school romance. Ada and Sawyer have a few obstacles to overcome, but ultimately fate takes the wheel. We also get to revisit some old friends in Springville with Hunter and Mackenzie.

Fun, quick back-to-school read that will have you swooning for more.

I only read Mignon Mykel's contribution to this book. It's a throwback to one of her older books by connection (Saving Grace) and this is more of a meet cute. It's not a cliffhanger but it's also not their complete story. It's short and sweet and just enough of a taste that I can't wait for more

Sawyer and Ada!!

This anthology has four stories by four different authors. I read an arc of Because of you. Sawyer and Ada's story. They meet by chance and the attraction is immediate. Problem is, they don't live near each other, or do they? Buy this book, so you can find out for yourself. I'm excited to read the other three stories in this anthology.

Review Because of You, novella by Fabiola Francisco

Two strangers, a brief encounter and one amazing kiss.

Ada and Sawyer part ways, but fate has other ideas.

Reunited months later in the same town, where Ada is now going to be teaching Sawyer’s son River.

Unable to ignore their chemistry, sparks fly and feelings are exposed.

A sweet and angsty, small town romance.

Ember Glow

A sneak peak into another amazing couple I can already tell I’m going to love reading about! If you’ve read Mignon Mykel before, you just might be familiar with one of these characters.

We find out quite a bit about Smith and Ember as well as their introduction to each other, but just when things are getting good...

I always look forward to reading Mignon’s writing, but now I’m invested and excited for another beautiful love story from one of my fave authors!

This review is for Boone’s Girl by Tracy Broemmer.
Bodhi returns to her hometown after accepting a teaching position at the school she attended as a child. But it’s not just a happy trip down memory lane when she realizes that an old ex-friend, Will, is also a teacher at the same school. I loved the dynamic between the two as they navigate the path to falling in love. In addition, there’s a great cast of supporting characters. I especially liked Piper and would thoroughly enjoy reading her love story.
This novella has all the twists, turns, and emotional upheaval you’d expect in a full-length Tracy Broemmer novel and is now one of my favorites! ~ Kate Carley, Author of The Courage of Krysset series

I read Boone’s Girl by Tracy Broemmer and loved it! Tracy wrote a fantastic story about high school friends who reconnect as adults. I'm not a huge fan of short stories generally because I feel like I don't connect enough with the characters but that was not the case with this one. I felt like I really got to know Will and Bodhi. I really enjoyed this story and would recommend it to anybody who likes to read second chance type stories.

I received an ARC for an honest review.

It was a quick read and just in time for back to school. It really was a fun quick read. Stories were quick and easy to read since they were all novellas. Normally I stay away from the college stories they make me feel really old and the school thing just isn’t in my comfort zone I guess. But these stories short and fun and I didn’t feel weird reading them.

Review of Holding Harper by Jennifer Bonds.
A great start to the new series, Waverly Wildcats. Holding Harper is a well written, fast-paced short novella with a great storyline, witty banter, insta-attraction, incredible chemistry, and a happily ever after.

I voluntarily reviewed an advance reader copy of this book.

Holding Harper by Jennifer Bonds

The perfect mix of charm, heat, chemistry and hilarity all in one short.

I love that both characters have great connection without being carbon copies of each other or complete opposites and they have their own personalities without it feeling clichè or unrealistic.

The feminism, dorky nature and way they play off each other is just perfect. Super cute retelling/re-imagining of Cinderella that holds up as it's own story of you don't care for the modern fairytale aspect.

Review of Tracy Broemmer's Boone's Girl.
It is a fantastic read. It is heartfelt and believable. It is so real it felt like i was being told by a close friend of what happened in their life. I love how they surprisingly do the same job and then in the same school. It takes a strong person to go through what these 2 have specially Bodhi.

Only issue I have TRACY is the weird names. Lol
