With this latest in the Jimmy Coates series, Joe Craig pushes the boundaries and takes the reader on a whirlwind ride. We learn more about Jimmy and his developing abilities, gain some and lose some of the secondary characters, and delve deeply into the twisted politics of the world.

The pace is fast with some great action sequences, but not at the expense of a soundly plotted storyline. The development of the plot is one of the key strengths of the book; it is very well handled and the revelations enhance the story line brilliantly. At times intense but never less than gripping, this is a fantastic book for all ages, not just the YA category.

Love this series, and so glad to be able to continue the story. Now that we've finished book 7, we're back to waiting for the next -- the final -- installment. Very imaginative, exciting, and riveting. Obvious "boy appeal," a junior James Bond spy thriller with plenty of action, but the girls have been enjoying it, too. Good stuff. Unfortunately, hard to find in the U.S. Purchased this volume from Amazon U.K., which proved to be pricier than I had expected, because the shipping was much higher than the standard shipping costs with regular (U.S.) Amazon.com.

Really good to have Jimmy back, it's been a long wait. Now having to wait again to find out what's next. Lovely edge of the seat stuff from the gifted Joe Craig.

It is a very y good last book for the jimmy Coates series. But leaves you on a cliff hanger. This why I gave it 4 stars. Apart from this very well written.
