A good read. Lots of good analysis and lessons learned. I haven't read all of these Aftermaths before, so pretty much all of them were new to me. My one qualm with the collection is that he included like, 2 or 3 larger, higher profile commercial crashes that have been kind of extensively covered elsewhere, like the jackscrew on Alaska 261. The lessons a GA pilot can learn from these are minimal and the space could have been better served covering a more likely GA scenario. The pieces I appreciate most is GA pilot mistakes during emergency, pilot decision making, those kinds of things.

OK BUT TOO SHORT

The crash analyses are thoughtful and, in some cases, more detailed than others I've read. But I expected more for the money, given that they are cut and pasted magazine articles.
