Sophia Anderson walked into the police station where Detective Colton Matthews worked, filled with confidence and sass, ready to take on what was required of her in order to gain the necessary credits she needed in order to complete college, she was prepared to shadow Colton as he went about his daily duties, what she wasn’t prepared for was the intense attraction she felt towards him, as for Colton he was totally unprepared when it came to all things Sophia, he was instantly attracted towards her and that attraction only grew stronger the more they were in one another’s company, however he struggled with those feelings, because of the 13yr age difference between them, that and the fact that Sophia’s the daughter of Dominic Anderson of Cerberus MC, I mean c’mon who wants to get on his bad side. Colton’s struggles played a huge part in the push and pull that occurred between the pair throughout the storyline keeping us readers on our toes with the whole "will they, won’t kiss?" idea, Colton knew that once he went there with Sophia there would be no going back, and the build up to that moment was like a form of foreplay on it’s own. Just as the pair decide to make a go of being a couple things take a turn for the worse when Sophia finds herself caught in the middle of a situation, a situation no man would want the woman he’d just confessed his love for to be in but that’s exactly what happens when Colton returns home after a stressful day at work, but not only in Sophia’s life in danger his sons is too.

Will Colton attempt to rescue those he loves on his own, or will he man up and contact Cerberus, Dominic in particular and tell him how his daughter’s currently in his home and that her life is in danger?

Fantastic!!

I have to say that with reading the Cerberus series I never thought that I would actually be thinking that a homicide detective would catch my interest. Colton had caught Sophia’s interest as well. She was going to be interning under Detective Matthews for the next two months and it took everything within his power to keep any kind of relationship with Sophia on a back burner.

Reading about how their relationship was coming along drew me in and wouldn’t let go of me. The chemistry was definitely there even though there was a thirteen year age difference. Sophia was a great heroine because she was sexy, smart, and stronger than most people thought. Colton had a little surprise that he hadn’t mentioned to Sophia which she walked in on with only his shirt and boxers on. There was another guy in the kitchen that morning and she (and I) was totally surprised by who that turned out to be.

This book was sprinkled with some absolutely hilarious moments that had me loving this book even more. The chemistry between Colton and Sophia was sizzling. I cannot wait for the next book to come out because I have a feeling that it’s going to just as delicious as this book was. This is a book that I would highly recommend!

I always love a great MC series!

I always enjoy a good MC story and this one did not disappoint.

I loved how this story ended for both Sophia and Colton.

Marie James is one of my very favorite authors, and I've beeb totally obsessed with the Cerberus MC series for a cool minute. This time around the story is a bit different but no less fantastic in my opinion. Colton is a homicide detective, and Sophia is the Cerberus princess who is now his intern. She wants him, but he knows that she's off limits because of her family, not to mention that whole age gap complication, but Sophia isn't letting it go because she's an in it to win it kind of girl. Colton was a short(ish) read of the forbidden, intense chemistry making for a frustrating push & pull, with a kicker of suspense so yeah, I devoured it in short order, and now I'm chomping at the bit for more in this series. If you want to know how it all panned out, well, you'll have to hit those one click buttons! HIGHLY HIGHLY HIGHLY RECOMMEND!

Another fabulous addition to the Cerberus MC series! Marie James never fails to deliver an awesome story with awesome characters. Colton is a homicide detective is enamored right from the start when he meets, Sophia. He mistakenly thinks she is a college professor bringing in an intern, but after blatantly flirting, finds out that Sophia is the intern....and not any intern, but the daughter of the President of the Cerberus MC.

The two are so hot for each other and their age gap just makes this story so much better with their denial of their feelings. This is one you definitely want to grab up and read!

This is the 14th book in this phenomenal series and is Colton and Sofia’s story. Colton is divorced single dad who is also a police officer, and Sofia is a MC princess, whose dad is Dominic Anderson. Colton is taken aback when he finds out that Sophia is the departments new intern, as she need to follow him for awhile to complete a college credit. The chemistry between these two is undeniable, but can he keep her safe and protected from danger? This is an outstanding story which is filled with drama, danger, suspense, lust, violence, action, and is a steamy and engaging, and intense read. I was totally captive throughout this riveting tale and highly recommend for all.

Another couple of Cerberus! Colton and Sophia made quite the enjoyable read. I loved their dynamic. This slow burning romance has me hook from the start. Sophia is such a sassy, feisty heroine, so she made quite the match for our hero. Colton is such a sweet man, I just love him. His heart is pure, just like the rest of these Cerberus men. You can't help but fall in love with them.

As soon as you open this book you will be captivated by the world and not want to put it down. I am So so interested to find out more about Sophia's best friend, I need to know more. Bring on more Cerberus.

Colton is a police detective and Sophia is his intern sent to shadow him at his job. She's also the president of Cerberus MC's daughter, making her totally off limits to him. The two didn't expect to be attracted to each other. They also have a thirteen year age difference. You get lust, sex, suspense and age gap. A quick read with plenty of action.

Finally a different angle to the story.

And it came at the perfect time for me because I was about to give up on this series. Mostly because it’s just been a lot of the same stories, just with different character names and faces. This time it was from a cops POV. And that was enough of a different dynamic and a change I welcomed. Hopefully it’ll keep adding in differences from all the stories before hand, if not I’m probably going to give up on it after this next book. I really did like Colton & Sophia’s story though, as in it kept me captivated and interested throughout most of the story which I appreciated. I really liked the cop angle. Before Drew was also a cop too, so maybe it’ll be another cop story, or at least similar in their professions anyway. I’m also glad to be reading Drew’s story next too because he was just so happy as a kid in Lawson’s story, he’d seem like the type to grow into a good respectful man. Lawson definitely did.

This is one of our favorite couples in this ongoing series. Colton was one sexy dad and a hot detective to boot. Sophia and her detective are having a hard time fighting their attraction. Colton is fighting the attraction hard there are several reasons but, the main one is Sophia's father Dominic Anderson. The man scares us too!

The chemistry between both Colton & Sophia is explosive and hot. Can you say really really hot? The fanning kind! Loved Sophia she was a strong and independent woman and a sexy seductress. The characters in this story were fantastic.

This story was filled with romance and made us laugh, angry dads, threats, love, friendships, and love. We found that Colton fit right in with the men of Cerberus. We really loved this one as Colton and Sophia were perfect together they made a beautiful couple. Loved it.

Good book

I have really enjoyed this series and this latest book did not disappoint as far as storyline goes.
There were however more editing errors than i like to see in books i read- i wondered if there was a change up in how the author has editing done.
The character themselves, were very likeable and the storyline ran smoothly. The way past characters continue to be woven into each book is awesome!

Not the book I thought

This was not the book I thought I was going to be reading especially with the clifhanger of the last instead it did a 180 and didn't address the last books ending at all so I was confused as to why that wasn't next so this book was lacking for me I'm hoping it's just a stepping stone book to get to the place it should have been

Pretty good. It had a forbidden love aspect but wasn't too angsty. The reason the brother was mad in the end was a complete surprise to me but this book was midpack when it comes to the MC. I was disappointed that we didn't actually see much of the MC in it either. I do like that the ex wife didn't randomly show up to cause drama though. A++ for that.

Pretty good read. But also sorta dragged... the "I want you, I don't want you" got a little old. I didn't like that his son was closer to her age than the lead male. She's like 21 or 22, he's 32. His son is 16 yrs old.

Wasn’t as much of a fan of this one as the others. Colton was sweet to Sophia and I appreciated that. I also liked Sophia’s relationship starting to form with Rick (Colton’s son). But in general I didn’t like it as much as the others.
