No reason for my 6 year old reading about “they/them”. Do not recommend. Zero stars.

This collection of the first four books in the A-Z Mysteries was a trip down memory lane for me. I never had Dink, Josh and Ruth Rose's adventures but the fictional setting with its small-town vibe where everyone knew almost everybody brought to mind my own hometown and the old homestead where I grew up in. It also reminded me of my childhood friends and neighbors.
If only these well-written stories were available back then. I would have collected, devoured, and loved them with equal measure as much as I did the Bobbsey Twins series, the Hardy Boys and Nancy Drew mysteries. All the same, I am so glad I got the chance to read them now even as an adult.

This is another fun series of books for younger kids. Similar audience to magic tree house series.
