Excellent book on the prophetic. Lana is an accurate prophetic voice, with a heart for the body of Christ, and this comes through in the balance of encouragement and correction that is found in this book. God does still speak to His people today, we just haven’t always been well prepared to receive, comprehend and identify His interactions. If this is you, you need to read this book.

I bought this book in the summer of last year, and have picked it up here and there as part of my devotional time. Each time I picked up this book, I was amazed at how accurate, precise, and resonating Lana's words were. I found Lana's emphasis on Scripture and call to holiness very refreshing. The prophetic movement today is often painted as creepy, ungodly, and unbiblical, a movement full of wolves in sheep's clothing. Lana's call for reform within the prophetic movement was well-written, and clearly came out of a place of love for the Lord, the Church, and a sense of urgency to do what is righteous to honor Christ. Her words were full of personal significance, yet simultaneously corporate. I felt encouraged, seen, and convicted. I liked how Lana used multiple Bible translations to help readers/hearers understand the meaning and essence of Scripture.

Overall, a very timely and solid read. I highly recommend this book if you have felt disillusioned, unseen, and dazed by this season in your life or in the Church.
