Absolutely tremendous collection of Yiddish poetry from 1926-1975. Whitman collected and translated anywhere from two to nine poems each from many of 14 of the “greats” of Modern Yiddish poetry. Side by side Yiddish and English. Amazing poetry and a great collection for a Yiddish beginner like myself.

Excellent bilingual collection, with a pretty large time span and variation of different styles. Took me six months to really work through but definitely worth it!
