Everett Peterson is an honorably discharged army veteran who is working hard for a normal life returning home. He works long hours at a lab while trying to be a fulltime caregiver to his father.
Enter Michelle Cummings, a home nurse aide to take care of Everett's father, WWII vet Frank. Michelle works hard to give Frank the attention and care he needs. Everett also takes notice, unleashing emotions that he hasn't felt for a woman in quite sometime.
Their attraction is intense. She makes him feel whole again.
Drake, Everett's troubled medic buddy needs a place to stay and out of loyalty, Everett offers a place on his couch.
Suddenly Michelle is avoiding Everett and he is at a loss. He struggles to understand the reason for the change, doubling up on his effort to be with her.
Pandora Snow gives us a glimpse into the lives of a group of army medics. They all grapple to make the adjustment after war. Their brotherhood is well perceived by the reader. The banter between the men feels true.
Everett: M.E.D.I.C.S is a standalone HEA book within the series M.E.D.I.C.S. All make appearances in the others story and the series (to this point) seems to run concurrently. As we get to know the men, the reader is led through the book hoping the respective medic finds his happily ever after.
I loved this book as well. Book 2 in the series but still reads as a stand-alone book. Everett is in need of a woman that is perfect for him. In walks Michelle a home health nurse hired for his dad. Michelle is exactly what Everett didn’t know he was looking for. I do think Everett overreacted with Drake concerning Michelle. It doesn’t sound like he told Drake Michelle was his girlfriend so it’s not like he intentionally broke the code. However, relationships formed while fighting war in any capacity tend to not be broken. Glad they made up and Everett is going to help him get back on his feet. Looking forward to reading Drake’s story next. I received an ARC of the book for an honest review.
This is book two in the M.E.D.I.C.S series. I loved this book. It was enjoyable, steamy, instalove story. It reads as a standalone, but it is connected with the first book since Everett meets up with his Army buddies for beers whenever he can. I’m really looking forward to Dake’s story which is next.
Everett hires Michelle to take care of his disabled veteran father. He works as a medical technician in a lab. He’s been doing it all and he just can’t keep up with everything. Michelle is a registered nurse. She decided nursing for a job as a way to honor her mom who passed away from cancer.

Not only is Everett overworked at the lab, but he also takes care of his dad, and he is feeling that he he is being pulled in all directions and coming up short. Thus enters Michelle, who he hires to look after his dad. The attraction is instant and undeniable until he decides to help his friend Drake and he scares Michelle away. Tough love is the way to help his friend, so Everett has a serious talk with Drake and gives him a reality check. After Drake saving Everett's dad before leaving, their friendship is strenghtened. With his dad in the hospital, Michelle offers her full support.
Love, friendship and family are what it's all about.

I was gifted an Audible version of this book from the author. And I very much enjoyed it! This M.E.D.I.C.S series has been so awesome. So glad I got to meet Everett and Michelle. He is being pulled all ways in his civilian life. Work. Caring for his father. Dealing with his past deployment. So glad he found his HEA. The narrator did a good job. Very distinct. Loved his voice for Everett! Strong, sexy. His female voice and "old man" voice, not as well. Ha! All very entertaining! I voluntarily reviewed a complimentary copy of this book.
Another wonderful read from Pandora Snow. This is another short story, but it has everything that a romance should have. It's a gentle love story that includes hot scenes, sweet scenes, and everything in between, whilst focusing on real life problems and how they can be overcome with support from the people around you.

Good read with well developed characters and interesting storyline.
Michelle- a homecare nurse with big heart who makes a big difference in a WWII vets life.
Everett- home from Iraq for just 6 months he has his plate full with responsibilities to work and family. When a squad brother calls for help out of the blue.
Will Everett be able to have it all or will he drown in all the responsibility he has taken on?
Everett is a great, stand-up hero with a heart of gold, and Michelle is adorable. I love the nursing/caregiving backdrop that thrusts the hero and heroine together. The author did a great job of weaving a dynamic story in under 10k words. The sexy-time and plots are well balanced, and the characters realistic.
The author has, once again, pulled us into the lives of ex-military medics. Everett is having a difficult time taking care of his father, holding a full time job and still being able to take care of himself. When he finally takes the step to have home health care for his dad, he meets Michelle and realizes she is the solution to all his problems.
I like how Everett is able to show his love for his Father. Their relationship is touching. A good part is how he was able to help his friend, Drake. It's fun that each book in this series leads into the next book. Now I want to read the next book. You will too.
What a compassionate story about returning army soldiers trying to make sense of their lives after coming home from their tours of duty. Everett needs help with looking after his father and hired Michelle to do so. Their chemistry is off the charts from the moment they meet. In record time they discover they are soulmates.
I highly recommend this book to everyone! It has true passion with a medical background. The reader suddenly realizes what it means to be a caregiver and still try to maintain your own life. Life is never simple!
I really enjoyed reading this book. This insta-love romance was short, steamy, and well written. Everett is such a great guy, caring for his dad and taking in a friend in need. I really like the relationship between Everett and Michelle. Looking forward to reading Drake's story.
