When Misty takes the girls into the wilds for a Beltane celebration, magic things happen. At the same time, Luke has a visitation from Gran and she sets him on a quest deep in the bayou.
Take the chaotic family dynamic of Charmed and cross that with the paranormal magick and mayhem of True Blood and you'll find this New Orleans flavored fun, rollicking read.
This was another great adventure.I get so caught up in the story telling, I cannot seem to put the book down. I love the cast of players and root for them to save the day. I ready for the next adventure!
The girls have a ritual night out in the forest that gives them new powers, which they need to combat the squatters and the loggers cutting the Cypress trees.
The series is such a fun well written offering it's full of likeable characters and interesting situations in an interesting environment. I think you the reader will find it an easy entertaining read.
I highly recommend magical book , and the fantastic series in which it is to readers of paranormal fantasy. If you love a kick butt, justice served adventure this is your book. Enjoy!
These stories about Misty and her magick and mayhem are really fascinating! I find I'm turning the pages faster because I can't seem to stop due to the mayhem that surrounds Misty and her family. Even as the danger lurks, Misty and her Coven are anxious to take care of the problems that come up every time! Now they have new neighbors and I love these parts when they find the neighbors are actually out to harm Misty and her family. Even though as new neighbors move in next door, I know mayhem is coming. These two Authors just keep this story full of it. Omg, I find I'm loving the parts where magick happens and the spells they have to come up with to protect those they love and those they want to help. If you haven't read any of the stories these two have created yet, you should look at the beginning of these series and start there. Each one just makes you want to get to the next one faster. Although, I find I do this I hate for it to end! I'm just happy they have more to read in this series!
Illegal logging, kidnapping, increased powers, and new characters to add to the mismatched and thrown together family. Like always this book had so much going on, Claire and Lieutenant White started to date, the group saved an orphaned hawk shifter that Ben and Rowanne have decided to raise, there was an dark wizard stealing girls and lusting after Claire, and the girls celebrate Rowanne's birthday in the woods where a lightning bolt boosted their powers. Rowanne's fire power is a bit out of control but is the perfect thing to stop the illegal loggers from taking her grandmother's favorite cypress trees from the bayou.

The young witches growing in the strength of there abilities
I still struggle with people taking the law into their own hands when the agencies that are supposed to be protecting people are not doing their jobs I am guessing bayou life is that way, one does what is necessary to stay alive and safe. Justice only comes after the fact.
Flame (Misty’s Magik and Mayhem Book 7) by Carolina Mac &Auburn Tempest. Misty takes the girls into the woods for an overnight stay and all their powers seem to get better. Logging is going on in the bayou illegally and Luke investigates. The loggers come after a couple of the girls and Rowanna defends them with her new fire power. Claire faces her rapist in court.
Get another awesome book in this wonderful, magical series! The girls are truly growing in their powers. It's so wonderful to see lost children returned to their families even if it's only in fiction. Do not miss this series! I can't wait to see what happens next! Keep churning out the awesome stories, ladies!
I immensely enjoyed this entire series. The magical hijinks gotten into by all of the wonderful characters were extremely entertaining; even the ghosts.
