To Susan... Reading your book is like a vacation... Your portrayal of life in Texas is so clearly defined that I feel I am there... imagery is excellent... you have put some nice twists and turns in this story that made me want to continue reading... very enjoyable.... Thank you... looking forward to book three.... I did say it was a vacation but it is just a short holiday... just a weekend...

Healing series book 2

Genre - Women’s Fiction

This was a 5 star read for me. It touches on a lot of different subjects that are very relevant right now.

This is about Annie and her husband trying to find a way back together after the suicide of there son. If you have read the first book (and I do suggest you read them in order) you will know that Annie was just opening up to another man when her husband comes back in to the picture.

Annie is determined not to break her wedding vows to her husband and works hard to keep working towards the goal of them settling down to a good marriage again. There are some anger issues both of them have to deal with. All the while the other man is trying to mind his own business and stay out of the way of Annie and her husband while they work things out.

I really liked that Annie does everything in her power to stay with her husband and that there are no sex scenes in the book. I find these things a refreshing change of pace from most books.

Who will she end up with well you will have to read it to find out. I found out in the end of the book that this is part 2 of a 4 book series. I can’t wait for the next one to come out. It is called Winter Wisdom in the second book but that might change as the author is still working on the book. No release date has been set for the third book as of yet. I have throughly enjoyed these first two books and am sure the author will not disappoint on the third one!

Once again I am including the National Suicide Prevention Lifeline in this. Their toll free number is 1-800-273-8255. If you don’t feel that you can actually talk to someone about it you can also text for free TALK to 741741. If you or someone you know is having these types of thoughts please reach out as it is a very serious thing that is happening now. Especially to those that are having trouble with the isolation of COVID-19.

There are also a lot of anger management groups to look into either on the web or right in your own city.

Disclaimer - I am the author of Fall Forever, a Women's Fiction book containing themes of family, friendship, healing, and love.

The first book in the series, Summer Solace, ended with a cliff hanger. Fall Forever picks up from that point, answering the questions my readers have asked.

Struggling to navigate the shards of her marriage, Annie Jenkins is torn between her moral code and her desire for a fulfilling life. Her husband needs her strength and another needs her love. Although she’s vowed never to forsake her vows, she is torn between the man who reforms to keep her and the man who shares her dreams.

This series of four books will all be set in Graceville, Texas and each will feature Annie Jenkins as an integral part of the story, even though she may not be the main character in each. I hope you like Annie. I do. I'll be sad when I finish the series.
