Construction Projects: Contracts and Obligations

Rate this book
The contractual obligations of each the parties should be clearly understood from tender stage and hopefully somebody in the tender department has made a complete list of the obligations and the related due dates. However, it has been very common that this is not the case, but regardless of the fact that the complete list exists or not, the contract administrator will need to scrutinise the complete contract documents and tabulate all those obligations. Depending on the conditions of contract, scope of the contract, location of the project, and the nature of the project, the obligations of the parties to the contract can vary dramatically from project to project and Employer to Employer. The Contractor must take special care not to make any assumptions as a result of previous experience.
