AE Faulkner is a young adult dystopian author. Her debut novel, Darkness Falls, is the first book in the Nature's Fury series, which explores the Earth’s response to humans poisoning her streams, abusing her animals and destroying her beauty.

She has a bachelor’s degree in marketing from Millersville University and a master’s degree in advertising, public relations & journalism from Temple University.

Although she escaped in books as a child, college textbooks sucked the fun out of reading. Years later, The Hunger Games trilogy became the spark that rekindled her love of books. After devouring that series, she quickly became captivated by dystopian novels.

After several years of reading them, she decided to take a stab at writing one that combined her love for nature with her fear of human destruction.

Quinn and Riley are happy to be back together again after everything they have been through. Quinn and Riley decide to go home to check on their Aunt Grace. A sergeant at the base where they are staying offer to help them get back home if they will do him one little favor and that is to visit his wife and try to get her to come to the base.

Quinn and Riley only have a short time to make it home before the Earth is ravished with yet more natural disasters. It seems Mother Nature is not through dishing out more punishment. Their trip is faced with more disasters of their own making well sort of.

Quinn and Riley decide to make a little detour of their own to help save some dogs that they heard about that are being mistreated. They end up losing their car and are left to make the rest of the trip on foot if they can’t find another way of travel. Will they make it home before more natural disasters hit?

Devastation Erupts is a fast paced read that had my attention from the first page. Once I picked it up I couldn’t put it down until I had read the last page. Devastation Erupts will pull you into its depths as Mother Nature is on the brink of erupting even more disasters.

It will have you waiting and wondering when the disasters will hit. I was on the edge of my seat the whole time rooting for Quinn and Riley hoping they make it home and to safety before Mother Nature unleashed her power upon the Earth once again.

I highly recommend Devastation Erupts to all fans of dystopia and science fiction. One click your copy today! Be sure to pick up a copy of the first book Darkness Falls and the second book Anguish Unfolds as well.

The story just gets better with each book. You know in the first few pages the story will continue to grab your attention. Its like a puppy with a tug toy; you don't want to put it down. When you can envision the people, places and events in a book, you just know its a goodread.

This engrossing tale full of adventure and suspense. The havoc wrecked by nature’s fury is very evident in the 3rd installment of the series. I could not put this book down, and I am looking forward to seeing what happens in the final novel!

The third instalment in the Nature’s Fury series and the sisters are finally back together. Again, we follow the gang on their journey to what they hope will be safety from the natural disasters ravaging Earth.

Another fast paced read that I couldn’t put down. We see the whole gang reunited as they continue their journey together.
This time we’re back in Quinn’s perspective which I much prefer over Riley’s. I loved the building romance between two of the characters and the constant changing dynamics within the group.

There are quite a few moments in this series where I find myself wanting to scream at the characters for their actions and decisions and this instalment was no exception. I guess that shows how engrossed I became in the story.

I cant wait for the next book so I can continue on this story.

A.E. Faulkner does not disappoint again! Devastation Erupts: Book 3 of The Nature’s Fury Series is another outstanding journey. Devastation Erupts is packed with action and drama from the first page to the last page. The only way to take a breath is to stop reading and that is just an absurd thought. Each chapter is a cliff-hanger that begs for the reader to continue to find out what happens with Quinn, Riley, Aiden, and Jeff.

Faulkner is a wonderful story-teller. Her characters are believable, at times annoying, but loveable in the end. Her descriptions of how nature turns on humanity is realistic and prophetic. I highly recommend this novel and the entire series for anyone who enjoys a realistic and frighteningly accurate dystopia if Mother Nature ever decides to turn her full force against humanity.

This series just keeps getting better and better. Plenty of twists in the story to keep me entertained. Aidan's dad reminds me of mine, he always prepared and has plans. I also love that Riley has found her courage. I can't choose a favorite character! Love this series. Give it a try, it's worth it!

Horrifyingly Fantastic

When Yellowstone finally blows, the world comes to an end as we know it. Quinn and Riley get tapped to help a Sargent at the military base, and he gives them all the he can. He just wants to make plans with his wife. The girls hook back up with their friend, bidding in a cave. Everyone is hoping the world hadn't ended. Yet the military has injected many with tracking devices.

What's next?

Devastation Erupts continues to follow Quinn and Riley and their new friends as they seek shelter from the next earth shattering disaster. This book introduces us to Jeff and Aidan's families, albeit briefly, and touches on sergeant Bowen and his wife. It's a great segue into what might happen next. I highly recommend continuing on with the series!

Awesome story

This story, or continuation of the story, is captivating, holds your attention and many times has you on the edge of your seat. Anyone that enjoys "end of the world" scenarios is going to be hooked from the beginning.

Good dystopian future. Lots of drama. Have to say, not really a Quinn fan. She doesn’t think things through and doesn’t know when to keep her mouth shut. But…she’s a teenager so age appropriate? Overall, I’m enjoying the series.
