Never, ever, say something can't possibly get worse. Life will happily flip you the bird and then proceed to prove just how wrong you are. I thought I'd met my quota of bullshit for one lifespan, but apparently not.
For once, I have everything I've always dreamed of.
Friends. Family. A smokin' hot Wolf-Man.
Well, that last one exceeds even my wildest dreams, but I sure as hell ain't complaining. I never thought I could be so happy, Mom and I living free of my father. So, of course, just when things are getting good...the universe delivers a massive bitch slap and reminds me how cruel life can be.
I was just learning to love, to breathe deeply and not fear what might be waiting for me when I close my eyes at night. Now it feels like I'm back at square one. So, what do you do when you can't find solace in those you love the most? When even they can't ease the ache? Dax is so close, yet so far out of reach. Every day is a fight to make it back to him, to make it back to the girl I was finally becoming. But if there’s one thing I’ve perfected over the years, it’s fighting through a storm. So, what’s one more?
Because now I'm lost...
...and I need to find me.

*Note - This will end on a slight cliffhanger. Book 2 is the heart of this series and will have triggers involving strong language, abuse, death and insinuations of rape. Book 3, the final in the series, will follow soon.
M.K. Harper is a military spouse, just trying to escape life's chaos by getting lost in her own imagination. A mother of two and a full-time worker, writing has become a stress relieving outlet. Currently settled in Georgia after three years of living in Italy, M.K. is always looking forward to the next adventure.
Omg. Such a cute little series.but the error are horrendous! I read.her little message at the end of the book and even SHE.knew that she rushed it. Not taking the time to double check your own facts, and spelling/grammar errors is not only letting your readers down but also doing yourself an injustice.
It is still a cute story if you can sort out the issues.
Another great book! I absolutely love these characters sooo much! Caulder is the best 6 year old ever and soo my favorite. Can’t wait for the next book.
SYNOPSIS (of 2 Books): This is set in a world where there are shifters but humans do not know. The FC, Linden (17 years), and her mother run from an abusive father and find themselves in Pleasant Falls. There Linden falls immediately for her economics teacher and discovers that she is half wolf and her mate is a wolf shifter. There are two wolf packs in the area and they are enemies. Linden gets on the wrong side of the son of the alpha of Pack Amos who are rivals to Pack Brardot from which the FC’s mate comes and this stirs up the bad blood between the two packs resulting in violence.
Heat Level: 🍆/🌶️ The first kiss does not occur until book 2 and there is only one hot scene which was luke warm at best with it being a first for both the MC and FC.
In summary this is a young book aimed at teens in my view. The characters come across as young and the writing is relatively juvenile with some irritating grammatical and editing errors. I found the FC to be annoying and the MC to be pretty pathetic really. The romance element was not just instalove but within a day or two the FC was talking about marriage and children - at 17. There was no building of the relationship or any real depth and the world building was pretty much non existent as was the character development. There is some angst and violence which seems a bit abrupt intermingled with some elements of female trafficking and abuse by Pack Amos. The climax of Book 2 was particularly weak and didn’t really make any sense. It was like the author decided that they couldn’t be bothered to put in any effort.
Overall this was not for me as it lacked depth and engaging characters.
Mahhh, I have to keep reminding myself these are some soft alphas. Now with all these men with there crying and shedding tears everywhere it got old fast, that includes indy! That girl is a hot mess, what happened to the new indy in the first book, the one ready to take on bullies and take no s****? Well where ever she went id like her back! I didn't care for her crying everywhere, and boy did she cry, well to be fair everyone was God damn crying and falling apart! Not what I wanted to see form these ppl who seemed had ounce of really toughness! now the first book I thought ok it's just our two love interest who are dorky a*** marshmallows, oh no, daddy alpha is too! It's kinda weird! Doesn't really fit the whole alpha part, the crying these characters do makes me think they need doctor Phil stat!
Finding Me was definitely a must read after finishing Finding You, this story follows Dax as he struggles to find (how ironic) his mate Linden after she was kidnapped by a rival pack. Will Dax reunite with his mate? Or will she be dead before he has the chance? Overall Thoughts (contains spoilers): ~I loved the fact that we got to see a more vulnerable side of Dax, normally when you read a book with werewolves, they're described as overly territorial and complete jackasses. That was not the case for him, he openly cried over going to sleep without being able to hold his mate. ~I got a little emotional when Dax talked to Linden about adopting and having a home together, he may not be the smartest man out there, but his heart is one of pure intentions and love. Overall Rating: 3/5 Stars (I will be finishing this series and picking up Finding Us soon)

Linden's weird quirky personality is still present in full swing in this book 🤣
However, we get a very different side of Linden as well as she is once again trapped and surrounded by violence. Throughout the book, I wanted her character to stop experiencing so much because you come to love her in the first book and the second book puts that amazing fun-loving girl in a horrible situation.
I do appreciate the author showing how grief and guilt intertwine with Linden's character later in this book. The reader gets a clear picture of how her guilt and grief affect the people around her who only got to experience her before the traumas that occur in this book. Now characters must grow on their own and become familiar with the new Linden that is developed in this book.
I did feel like this book wrapped up too cleanly in terms of the overarching conflict. I mean the build-up for it took up most of book one so I thought that this conflict with the Ames would be longer or at least a little more drawn out.
Definitely picking up the next book, hopefully, Daxton and Linden can stop hitting barriers.
I am a very avid reader of all romance genres and I have to say with complete conviction this is one if not the top favorite book I’ve read this year to date!! I mean seriously I laughed so hard my husband gave me the side eye in bed I had tears running down my face... (I do not have a graceful laugh) haha. I was so entranced by Linden, Dax and all the other amazing characters in this book!! It’s a slow burn but honestly in the best way!! This is a MUST read!! Bravo M.K. Harper!
Why on earth schools don't teach grammar anymore is a mystery to me. When reading and you hit a grammatical error it is like a car wreck! You shake you head and wonder why they fell when they should have fallen or eat when they should have eaten! I know it is now young people speak but it is still incorrect. It sets my teeth on edge. The story was enjoyable and thankfully there was no rape. Abuse was implied but not described. Death scenes were quickly dispatched and not overly graphic. Anxious to complete the series.
Can't wait for book 3 in this series. MK tells a fantastic story with a strong female character. While Linny relies heavily on Dax she definitely has a strong inner worth. While captive she knows she must take care of minnie and relay messages to LT so that he knows his mom didn't just abandon him. The love between Dax and Linny wasn't as fantastic in this book as it was in the 1st one but here's hoping the 3rd one brings them closer.
Linden doesn't wait to be released after being abducted. After watching what Christian did to Minnie she finds a way to release herself. I don't think Christian is a fan of her methods. Dax however, he is just happy to have her back. The Ames pack might have crossed a line. The Bardot pack brings justice. If only Linden's past didn't show up to haunt her.
One of my new favorite authors! I can't wait for her to write more! I love the humor she brings into the story. The way Linny and Chevy interact reminds me of my friends and I.
I love this series! Caulder is amazing and I can’t wait to see what happens when they tell him (won’t say what so it doesn’t spoil anything for anyone). Looking forward to the next one which I’m assuming is the last?
I absolutely loved this book series. Its amazing. Its filled with love, laughter, danger, and so much more. I absolutely loved how funny the characters are.. they had me laughing so hard!! I can't wait for book 3!!❤❤
This book touched on some heavy topics but didn't lose the humor and randomness from the first book. There were some areas that were slow and others that could have been drawn out as they didn't feel natural, but overall, I laughed, cried, and laughed some more.
I am so glad I gave this book a chance. I wasn’t sure at first. The story line was a bit slow. But the characters were so well developed. I am looking forward to reading more from this author!
The storyline continues where it left off and you got answers to some questions. I felt for Lindy. But I enjoyed the ending and look forward to the next book. I love the characters in this series especially Caulder. So cute!
5 stars again! Can't wait for the 3rd and final book. So far, M.K. Harper has not let me down in this series. Supernatural, sexy, sassy shifts. The 4 things I like in a book, and the author has delivered.
Linden is awesome. And of course LT. The ONLY issue I have with this series is how SHORT the books are!! I will make Ms. Harper one of my go tos from now on!! Keep on writing!!
Thank you so much for sharing your amazing talent with me. I'm incapable of putting them down even to use the bathroom. Lol. I love everything about these, nothing is bad to me. Thank you again
You can't go wrong here. The character are just as good as the first novel. The heat and humor is there right along with the sorrow. One scene could have went on a little longer but I won't say which as that ll give the book away. Over all another great read.
If you need a sweet fairly no aggressive story here you go. It doesnt make much sense though. Why wait to bond when you know there was a threat, a war between the big bad pack and the good pack that's done in 2 hours...but it's a sweet true mates story
So here we are again with book 2 where the cover and synopsis doesn’t match the book whatsoever. There still isn’t any details or descriptions of the “shifters”. There’s not any character development like the first. The way the main female lead and her best friend both seemed to have basically the same personality was again, ok. I laughed my butt off. I actually cackled at one point. I had tears in my eyes.
Of course I would have loved a book about a girl overcoming her past trauma, overcome a sort of biased based off that trauma and explored more about her relationship with main male lead.
You don’t get that with these books (I’ve read the whole series) but you do get great quips and hilarity!
Omg, this book is a rollercoaster of emotions. While reading, I've cried, laughed, yelled at DAX "omg, shut up and go" almost like yelling at a movie. Can't wait to start on the next
This series is absolutely hilarious! You must read this book!!!! I haven’t laughed this hard in a long time. I love these characters. They are so full of life and energy!!!
I enjoyed that there was more action in this book than in the first. I absolutely adore Indy and Caulder together, they're just adorable. I expected that twist at the end.. we'll see what happens next.
It's a lot of filler, really, and the big finale isn't really a big finale. Additionally, the whole thing with the dad shows a lack of sympathy and amnesia. He is a victim, too.
I really like her writing style. It’s honestly so quick and easy while also giving the depth that’s needed. I think the relationship part is a bit cheesy. I would be surprised to find out the author was like 19-20 when she wrote it.
This is the exciting continuation of the first book but this book does answer some questions but ends in another cliff hanger. Looking forward to the rest of the story.
