Oh boy - be prepared for a roller coaster of emotions with this one. Yes, there is a happily ever after for some in this one. I’m feeling bad for one character. Really hope this certain character gets a book next. Just saying. The two that wind up together - I loved her. Harper was a great character going through a lot. HE didn’t help the issue much.

This book! Reader friends this book is phenomenal! I'm gonna even say...for me .. this was Becs best work to date! I love all her story's but this one just hit a little different..a little more than normal.
The storyline is top notch. The characters are incredible! I love all the different view points. It really helps the reader to understand each character and the decisions they make.
Make sure to grab your Kleenex cause Becs definitely dug deep to bring all the emotions.

I adore Lindsay Becs. I adore all her stories and I think she is a wonderful writer. She writes really emotional stories with lots of ups and downs. I thrive on the angst and push and pull in a romance. I want hurts and I want the well deserved HEA. Lindsay does all that and more in I Kissed Her First. For me though, I did not love this as much as I thought I would. I can only blame it on myself because the way she writes this story, brings the heat, and dives into different aspects of love that she hasn't touched upon before, well it is really one of her best works. Please take away from this review that she is a fantastic writer and one of my favorites.
I loved the childhood friendship that turns into lifelong love aspect of this story. I loved the emotion. I loved the chemistry and the angst. I really loved all but two characters in this book and sadly those two characters happen to be some of the most important. I can't explain it other than to say I didn't feel the connection to them.
Harper and Jett and Harper and Teddy, they are best friends. One pair are meant to be together, that much is clear in this story. They have a connection that trumps all. Other than that I felt close to no emotion for them as a couple and I can't truly explain why. For me my heart was split in two when one really amazing character just gets stepped over repeatedly by all of his friends. I felt like in most of this book the friendship between Harper and Teddy and Teddy and Jett is one sided. Teddy is constantly the ever supportive friend while Harper just seems to take and get and take and get with not much given back. She was put on a pedestal I just don't think she deserved. And Jett to me just seemed selfish beyond reason. Usually triangle love stories are among my favorites but for some reason I just was not routing for the couple everyone else was and I just didn't feel their hurts in my soul like I usually do. It was pretty clear from the start how this would end. That's not to say there wasn't a lot of surprises and well written obstacles along the way that kept me reading until the very end. There are really great supporting characters as well that if Lindsay wanted to, could continue on with their stories and I am sure her loyal fans would follow!
This was a well written and sexy story that really did draw me in. A big part of the story are the characters but also the writing. There were some really sexy parts in this book. And I love to feel my emotions take over and even though this was a little bit of a different feeling than I am used to, it still made me feel which is all on the talent of Lindsay and how she writes!

ABSOLUTELY LOVED THIS BOOK!
Lindsay sure knows how to take your heart, crush it and put all the pieces back together in everyone of her books and like all the others she does just that in this epic story!
It’s one of my favorites from Lindsay. Harper and Jett have the most amazing story, it’s full of heartbreak, angst, love and all the things…
Then comes TEDDY, can I say I just don’t like him. And he needs to go on somewhere else! Lol
But all in all this story will keep you turning the pages, your eyes full of tears, your heart full of emotions and overall you will LOVE this read. Cuz I mean it’s EVERYTHING!

Lindsay Becs can WRITE! I've been a fan for awhile and I can honestly say, each book I read is better an better. Jett, Harper and Teddy are all absolutely intriguing characters in this story by Lindsay Becs. I honestly struggled to put this review together as I do not want to spoil any of the story. Go in blind. You will not be disappointed. Lindsay brings her A game with a story that pulls you in, wonderful characters who are perfectly imperfect and plenty of emotional moments that pushed me in many ways. Very worthwhile and memorable read.

Get the tissues ready and free your night because your about to get consumed.
Harper has the perfect childhood, best friends and an all consuming love. She is fun and a free spirit who loves riding the waves but things quickly unravel as she moves into her teen years. She can get through anything with the help of her friends right?
I couldn’t stop reading this story. I needed to know what would happen next and I enjoyed the timeline of the book.
I recommend this, and all of Lindsays books!!!!

So yeah, do not plan to do anything but read this book in one sitting, because there is just no way you are going to be able to put it down! Lindsay Becs has done what she does best, she has given us an emotionally steamy story that will grab ahold of you and refuse to let you go.
Who meets their soulmate at 12 years old? The last thing Harper was expecting when she met the new boy was the effect he would have in her life. This story will take you on the journey of these two people from childhood crushes to that emotionally charged time between childhood and adulthood and then finally to the reality that timing is truly everything.
You are going to be invested in Harper and Jett’s story, you are going to root for them and hope for the happy ending.
If you have never read Lindsay Becs before, you need too and this would be a great place to start! If you like rich characters, smart writing, and aren’t afraid of some steam the you need to read this one!

Loved this book! I always think how is Lindsay going to top her previous books and some how she always does! This is definitely my favorite book of hers! This book will leave you mad, sad, happy all the emotions.. it does end in a happily ever after for some of the characters and heartbreak for some other characters.. if your looking to get emotionally wrecked come take a ride with Teddy, Harper and Jett!

Oh my goodness... I was back and forth with wants and emotions. Harper and Teddy... Harper and Jett, Harper and Tristan (nah), Harper and Jett, Harper and Teddy, Harper and Jett... you see a pattern here? Lol. I sooo wanted Harper and Jett to make it, but always felt sooo bad for Teddy, always being in the best friend slot and loving her from afar... Hoping that he would be there for her when she needed him the most, only for my heart to say, "Well, that doesn't feel right either!"... My heart ached at various times for things I don't want to spoil for the readers... Once again, Lindsey knocked it out of the stratosphere! And wink, wink at Mr. Denton!

I love this book!!! Harper & Teddy have been best friends since basically birth. The spring break of their 12 yr old year, Jett moves to town. They are all inseparable. Harper and Jett become a thing, and we watch it bloom through the years. Their world is turned upside down when Jett’s parents announce they’re moving back to Cali. They are forced to navigate being a couple long distance with promises made for the future. So much happens and we get to see them navigating being adults. As I like keeping things spoiler free, I feel this is a must read!!!!

WOW!!! I kissed Her First may be Lindsay's best book yet, and considering all her books are freaking amazing, that's saying something!!! I loved all the characters in this book, and you will see why when you read, and you will fall in love with and follow them through the ups and downs of their lives, and how they come out the other side. You will need tissues, and copious amounts of wine, but in the end this book is so worth the ride you'll be taken on and I can't wait to see what comes next!!

First of all the cover fit the book to a t. Such loveable characters, that think they have the world at their fingertips. Life takes them on a roller coaster ride . I thought I had the book figured out . The author through a wrench in the story & I was the one on the roller coaster ride til the beautiful end .

I really loved this book. I was captivated from the get go! The friendship between Teddy and Harper and Jett was so good. But then things change and feelings come into play. This book i could not put down! I loved it and the outcome was so well done. One of the best books by her!

Gah this book. So many feels,so many emotions. Lindsay Becs took me on an absolute whirlwind adventure and I am 100% for it. Harper,Jett and Teddy complete me. I cannot wait for more from the brilliant characters in this world that captured my heart and soul.A world without Harper and Jett's love is an empty one I don't want to be a part of. This book was a part of me I didn't know was missing.

Right from page one, I was entranced. I followed Harper, Jett and Teddy on a wild Rollercoaster ride that I didn't want to end.

This was a sweet, beautifully written story and one that I loved reading. I was engrossed with the characters and found myself biting my nails knowing that something was brewing in the upcoming pages.
I was able to get inside everyone’s head and feel their stories open up more as the timeline moved along nicely. This story is far from smooth sailing and the waters do become choppy at times, making you wonder if the sun will come back out settling everything down.

“Please, you hardly drowned.”

Lindsay has such a beautiful way with words and emotions; it’s one of the things that draws me most to her books. Her writing is just so well done! She’s known for pulling out heart strings and there was no shortage of that in this book!
We got alllll of the goods in this book! From naughty teens to heart broken and stubborn adults, we truly got it all and I couldn’t have asked for more. I loved the tale of Harper and Jett so much. Per her usual we have the craziest roller coaster of emotions throughout this book. Of course I cried a few times, I was outraged more than once and I was so happy so many times. She is the best at combining these things and keeping us fully on our toes.
This book was a little bit different than the last series and in such good ways. I love really how edgy these characters were and how we had this crazy love triangle/ fight for the girl. This was the biggest part of the plot, but Lindsay did so well not making this the norm! It was nitty gritty and super emotional, which made it so much more real. I truly felt like this could have been one of my best girl friends living out her life.
I cannot wait to see what comes next, because I am in desperate need of more from Gabby and Teddy. These two were absolute amazing supporting characters and we definitely need to see them find their happy places too!

This is a coming of age, first love, friends to lovers story with amazing set of characters that you’ll fall in love with.
It’s always been Harper and Teddy from the beginning, best friends forever. Until Jett comes into the picture and now it’s the three musketeers. But what happens when feelings get in the way? Someone will for sure get hurt.
As with any first loves comes heartbreak and this one got me crying in bed as I read late at night! I couldn’t put it down! Got me feeling all kinds of feels, a rollercoaster of emotions for sure!
“I keep thinking that if I try to hate you for hurting me or keep away from you, I won’t. But then I see you—and it doesn’t matter how long it’s been—it’s like I can finally breathe again. Like my soul knows it’s found its mate again.”

Team Jet!!!
Lindsay! Lindsay! Lindsay! Another emotional ride that I wasn’t prepared for. I love all things Lindsay Becs. She is the sweetest most evil author there ever was. One minute she has you swooning with heart eyes and the next she has you ugly crying and yelling to yourself. IKHF was no exception, Harper and Jetts story will put your heart and nerves through the ringer the highs are euphoric and the lows are crushing. This book will consume you and you won’t be able to put it down. A.MUST.READ!!!

I don’t want to spoil this for anyone so I will say this. Everyone needs to read this book, because trust me when I say that you need this story in your life. Harper and Teddy are best friends, and then they add Jett to their little duo. What follows is an emotional story of love, heartbreak, and a ending that will leave you with your heart a little hurt and smile on your face. I loved every word of this book and hope to get more from these amazing characters.

Childhood friendships are so sacred and can be shook up - so easily when one is male and the other female. You grown up and the chemistry changes, if you add in hormones or another boy - well it can be life altering. Lindsay takes us through this journey and shreds our hearts while doing it. After, you’re shredded she puts your heart back together with a pretty red bow.

Wow. Lindsay Becs does it again. I love the love triangle/fight for the girl. Lindsay took us on a roller coaster ride and I definitely need more. I love Harper and Jett's story. I laughed and I cried a few times and almost threw my kindle.
I hope we see Teddy and Gabby get their story(ies)? They were great side characters and I hope they each get their HEA whether with each other or not.

This book took me on an absolute roller coaster of emotions… but I LOVED every second of it! I will say the author had me guessing the entire time because I really couldn’t even guess how it would end. I don’t want to give away too much but I will say this is a MUST read and I can’t wait for the next in the series❤️

My heart took a pounding in this one. I may not agree with some of Harper’s decisions but I do believe Harper ended up with the person that was best suited to her. I just don’t like how it leaves the other guy wanting. I just hope he ends up with the girl that deserves more.

I love all of Lindsay Becs books but this one is my favorite. This one was so hard to put down! I couldn’t have asked for a better ending to this book. It makes all of the tissues you will need worth it.
