Note: I am good friends with the author so I may be a bit biased in my review!

Our bodies and physical natures are good things that we have and we shouldn't neglect the good we have! This book is a primer for the philosophy behind Hypuro Fit's mission to bring Catholic spiritual tradition to a healthy fitness lifestyle. Through the book, Chase and Ben go through four "pillars" which can guide our care for our physical bodies: understanding who we are, how to overcome our weaknesses, how to grow the good in us, and how to make this a lifelong habit. There are both practical tips and exercises as well as explanations on how and why to practice the virtues of temperance and bring a healthy asceticism to our life.

Now for a little plug for their business: Hypuro Fit's website is here. I'm part of Team Hypuro which is a cheap monthly subscription for home workouts. It also comes with video demonstrations, a planned guide/itinerary for the month, and access to things like on-going insight into Biblical passages. Chase has a Master's in Biblical Theology so he has great insight. He also has a podcast, Catholics with Bibles that I highly recommend. It should be on the major podcast platforms like Apple and Spotify.

As the Catholic Fitness Coach, I really enjoyed this book! It integrates authentic Catholic teachings with the fitness lifestyle. In doing so, the author makes this evidence of the connection between the Catholic faith and fitness more tangible. Catholics wanting to get fit and do so in line with their Catholic faith, definitely a must read!
