I murder the bad guys on my down time. You could say it’s one of my favorite hobbies. If someone wanted to get rid of me, I have this entire history of arson and murder they could have used. So, who framed me for embezzling and why? And why was I sent to Scorchwood as a first time offender? It’s in Hell because that’s where they send the truly evil to rot.
I was planning on being a good girl, serving my time, then killing whoever framed me when I got out. But I’ve made friends in Scorchwood and apparently, it’s not just me that was framed. Someone wants Elementals in Scorchwood.
I’m the first fire elemental they framed and they don’t know about Fergus, my fire dragon. They don’t know we just love burning the bad guys. I have new friends in jail. A wolf, a Vampire, and a demon could come in handy destroying everyone involved in whatever this plot is.

☆Book 1☆ Paranormal, RH, MM, and MF story. Listening to audiobook, the narrator is good on female voices, but her male voices are confusing and sometimes sound like the female voice. Audiobook could be better with a good narrator. I am able to ignore this a bit and focus on the words and build it in my imagination so soon I can enjoy the book. It's fun, spicy, sweet, and honour in the MCs book. It's a mystery as to why elementals are being set up and sent to hell based prison, and with the mystery, there are hidden secrets. The FMC is a fierce badass who had a hard childhood but still managed to gravitate to knowing the good over the ugly. She's also not a shy fire batman 3.7 stars ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
☆Book 2☆ Badass FMC, 4MMCs, RH, paranormal FM MMF MMFM book
I enjoy all the characters. They all have their quirks. More is discovered in the mystery of why the elementals are being set up and sent to hell. But! The ending twist is not what I expected. It is a good twist and set up for the last book.
The smut is ok in this book. It is hot but lacks something. But I do love the openess of the FMC and how she acts as a central anchor who helps her mates find their happiness. But like them all, she's a little psycho and it makes them all more fun and badass.
The introduction of our MMCs back into the real world with phones and TVs was so cute
3.9 stars Onto book 3!!! ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
☆Book 3☆ This is a weird one. In all, I enjoyed the book. But for some reason, I just have this underlining feeling of just "meh." It wasn't exactly boring, just not great. It was just lacking something. So, it has love, gore, action, and smut. But the smut and action are lacking that excitement or heat. I'm not sure how I can yawn while reading a 5-person orgy, but I did here. But, don't get me wrong, the book somehow has parts that are great, and that's why I still score it high. The characters are witty, psycho, dark, funny, and sweet. Even with the narrator reading the book. Again, not the best narrator, ok for the one female voice, disappointing for others. At some points, I can't tell who's POV she'd reading. But in over ways, she's good at getting some passionate across. I hate how she makes the MMCs sound... There's no steam in their voices.
Anyway, this RH, paranormal, badass female, all unhinged, witty characters, has a great overall story and characters worth investing in... but their journey and story is just meh....with some great moments and twists that keep it up there in stars. It just could have been better somehow...how...I don't know... I just know I have no book hangover and will likely forget the story, but not all the main characters. Confusing, I know. 3.6 stars
I enjoyed it well enough to finish but will never recommend it to others
Okay wow euhm i just listened to the bundle of all 3 books and although the story and fantasy is lovely, the sex scenes and romance was not ! It was super bland, lacking emotion and lacking any sexual tension or was super cringe baby bsdm.
The only reason i give it 3 stars is i loved the intrigue, fantasy aspect and world building and wanted to know what happend.
This book is chuck full of cliche and cringe virtue signaling that made me give pauze if i wanted to keep listening. And the narration isn't the best the psyco vampire sounds like a whiny wimp and except for her guardian there wasn't enough difference between characters so it all became. I bkurr in the first book i had to skip back to hear who it was that said what..
This is a awesome trilogy book set! It has everything you like in a book if your like me. Romance, mystery, adventure, magic, and all the supernatural folklore stuff to go along with it. The characters are each strong in their own way. Love the main female character and her merry band of men that follow along once they realize that she is special to them all in one way or another. Serafina is used to being on her own, well not totally now that she's had her dragon friend Fergus to help her hone her fire skills. And she would of been ignorant on a lot of things if they haven't framed her for some petty embezzling scheme that is totally not her style at all. So what do you get when you mix a halfling fire elemental together with a wolf shifter, a crazy vampire, and a demon together? One bad@ss story that's what!
Chained and Confused This was book that you are sure will be interesting even before you start it. And it was. It was charged with secrets and complicated situations. It was filled with things we would never expect in prison. Serafina is strong, independent and very interesting heroin. I did really enjoy every bit of this story. Only thing bad about this book is the ending, because the cliffhanger will kill me, waiting for next part will be for sure hard.
Pretty in Orange It was really interesting. The plot is original, however Eiltan’s idea seems to be very stupid, it did create a havoc. Or maybe because it was stupid it did create it. Hell is really a nice place to live. Demons are great. Serafina did deepen her connection with all her mates, and had some really steamy time with them. They not only got out of Scorchwood, get rid of some bad guys and put hell on its heels, but as well found missing elementals, understood what is going on and undercover even more secrets and troubles to come. It kept me interested and engaged. A great read.
Risky Business This was very interesting ending to this series. There was some so needed fight and tortures. There was going to the bottom of this all story. There was finding the future and learn to live by your own rules or changing the rules that exist to fit this new world. There was dealing with everyone who was coupable of all atrocities that did happen. It was as well filled with hot sex. This story was really nice and did read easily and with pleasure.

Loved It! CHAINED and CONFUSED “Chained and Confused” is a slow-burn tale of Sarafina who is the half-fae daughter of the heir to the fae throne. She is thrown into Scorchwood Penitentiary, which is in hell, for a minor offense. Chained and Confused has a suspenseful and intriguing storyline that bursts with drama, action, and enticingly sexy chills delighting the reader. This tale also gives the reader an enthralling romance with steamy chemistry that bursts on the pages with its intensity. The characters are well-written, complex, and authentic with depth and traits that blend and flow, transforming into genuine approachable personalities. The scenes are vivid and intense. This is the perfect beginning to this series. I’m excited to continue finding out more and more about Scorchwood! PRETTY in ORANGE “Pretty in Orange” picks up the storyline from “Chained and Confused” with even more drama, suspense, and love. Serafina begins to get answers and is getting closer to the truth about her abduction, the plot for abducting elementals, and about her father. Amduscias is right to be suspicious of Zepar. Serafina gets closer to her guys and to Fergus becoming real. I loved book 2! RISKY BUSINESS “Risky Business” is the final book in this amazing trilogy. Risky Business is exciting, action-packed, super-hot, dark, and twisted with the best HEA ever! The Scorchwood Supernatural Penitentiary Trilogy was wonderfully original and did not disappoint. Once started, I could not put this story down until it was done! I will be reading it again and again.
I was able to beta read these books: the following are my reviews. Book one : Where did the reveiw go?
Book two: Need next book in series NOW!!!!! Do not want to wait!!!
This maybe a RH book but that is secondary to the intrigue that is wrapped around this series. At least to me. So do not let the romance or RH category stop you from reading the series.
I admit that I read the books for the intrigue. I cannot figure out what is going on. Why is someone doing something? What will happen next? And when you think you have that possibly figured out, a new element is added to make you question it all over again.
I have to say that the author has come a long way from the first book I ever read of theirs. The writing and intrigue / suspense has great job!!!!
Book 3: Amazing! Just when I think I have it all figured out, everything changes. I kept expecting different things to happen.
If you have not read the previous books, I would highly suggest that you do. Each one starts where the last one ended. It takes me a small bit to trigger the memory. At least, you can have the opportunity to read them one after another. I envy you that, but know that you will enjoy them all. I am sorry to see this story end. I really love all the intrigue. There may be good news in the future….like maybe more of Charley, I hope.
This is my honest and freely given review. I did receive an ARC book.
There is something strange going on at Scorchwood Supernatural Penitentiary. Someone is framing elementals and sending them to Scorchwood. But when they framed Serafina, they made a BIG mistake! And they didn’t know about Fergus, her loyal fire dragon. This is the complete series, which contains the three titles: Chained and Confused, Pretty in Orange, and Risky Business. Below is a review of one of the books to give you an idea of what’s inside.
*** Reviewing “RISKY BUSINESS” *** Serafina, a half-human/half-Fae fire elemental, finally meets her father who framed her and got her sent to Scorchwood Supernatural Penitentiary for a crazy warlock to experiment on her! So she beat the crap out of him, but hasn’t killed him yet, although that was on her to-do list. There was a reason he did what he did, so for the moment they are uneasy allies with the fate of two realms depending on Serafina and her guys to figure out the rest of the details, like who was behind the prison problems and trying to take over hell. You won’t want to miss this exciting conclusion that will have you jumping up out of your chair!
One again, lots of things are happening in this book, but the reader will be intrigued and delighted as the author makes it all come alive! Grab this Complete Series and see how it all started and finally ends!
✴️✴️ONE ACTION PACKED TREAT✴️✴️ Thrilling! Trepagnier lays out one action packed, hard hitting, nail biting, heart pounding, pulse racing, adrenaline pumping, page flipping, block buster, blasting this baby to life spectacularly. A surging tempest full of vexing exigency and shocking events, propel those churning emotions into play front and center, wrapping this jewel up sleek, shiny and tight. Traversing the horrendous trials and thrilling triumphs, alongside the deadly twists and wicked turns, testing our characters in ways than they could have never anticipated. Disadvantages are heightened and stretched, baring the harsh facts, deep deals and fiery fiascos, shifting this baby into overdrive, slamming it into a frenzy with a life changing culmination. The characters, interactions and charged atmosphere along with relatable qualities and individual traits, adding depth and diversity, transforming into outstanding personalities. The scenes are abundantly descriptive with colorful details that blend and flow, creating a majestic backdrop that's so rich and lively it feels like you can just reach out and touch it. Remarkable job Trepagnier, thanks for sharing this incredible series with us.
Chained and Confused: This is only the second book I’ve read by this author and she did NOT disappoint! She has this way of writing where you literally can’t put the book down. She brings to life and incredible new place that you can’t help to love. The story is easy to follow along with. Beautifully written. The characters are all great. Love the dragon. Can help but seeing yourself right there along side of them. The cliffhanger is no joke though. Massive. I can’t wait to see what happens in the next book. I definitely recommend this story and this author!
Pretty in Orange: So can I just say wow! This book starts where book one ends. And captures you immediately from page one until the very end. With even more twists and turns to keep you turning the page. There is adventure, scenes that leave you panting and wanting more, twists that reveal more questions than answers. And the cliff hanger! I honestly can’t wait until book 3 comes out. This author is amazing at what she does. I recommend this series and others written by her!
Risky Business: The conclusion of the series that we needed with all our hearts! Once again this author has outdone herself. The characters are back and better than ever. Still auctioned packed and brilliantly written. Captured me as much as the other two. Love love love this.
A wolf, a Vampire, a Demon and a firey Fae. What more could a MFC want?
Really interesting story, amazing well developed characters each with their own vivid and well explained back stories, punctuated by lots of steam and a touch of MM between two in the harem too.
As the story moves through the series, the motives of the bad guys are revealed and the whole worl -, or at least the supernatural world - seems to need their combined strengths to save the day. It really isn't easy, and the fight, betrayals, injuries and more keep you hooked in.
Bought on Audible and these are long, well worth the cost books to listen too.
Such a fantastic epilogue ending too, made me grin for ages afterwards, lessening the pain of the end of such a good book series.
How many times can you reexplain the same thing? This book is an example that repetition is not always good. Every single concept is repeated at least 4 times. The story of fmc being mistreated by the nuns was retold at least 6 times, the anedocte of what happens when demons are summoned from earth is now repeated 4 times. And the repetition are not consistent with each other. First they tell that demons have fun faking obeying orders from the bad witches, then torturing them. Now they say they just kill them. Hell is apparently a very american suburb and everyone is happy. Save your money
Great story, great characters. I really enjoyed reading this series, and I am really happy that all three stories are available in one volume, so I could binge read, and not have to wait to find out what happened. A Psychotic half fae, a demon, a fae warrior spirit, a wolf and a vampire all make for an interesting and engaging storyline, with wicked witches, and a mad scientist thrown in as villains. The good guys are a surprising delight. The plot twists and turns keep you interested the whole way through.

BEST RH SERIES EVER! I’m no stranger to a RH and I must say that this one has it all. Badass heroine 4 hunky lovable guys. And lots of comedic gold. This series had everything. The dynamic between all the characters is something I love in a good RH. No maté jealousy truly a RH. I absolutely love Rowan. There’s just something about a loveable psycho that is just irresistible. I devoured this series in 2 days and wish I could wipe my memory and read it again. The audiobooks are definitely worth it. The narrator did a wonderful job. I love that you can distinctly tell when someone is talking IRL or in side each others minds.
This could have been an amazing book I bought the audible to go with it and I really hated them people that talked maybe if I read the book myself and not just listened it would have been better but I hated I'll drawn out it was and I hated the way this vampire is supposed to be so cool and scary became so whiny all the freaking time The girl who's supposed to be this tough girl was funny too I've read the whole thing because I didn't want to just leave it and the storyline could have been fantastic if you would have taken all the damn whining out of there just made it very uncomfortable to read I wouldn't waste my money on another one of this author's books
This was engrossing from the start and never let up until the end. The world building is exceptional and the character development deep and meaningful. The plot is multi-layered and keeps you guessing. I love the mm element as well as the bdsm elements brought in toward the end. This is a slow burn series but once it hits its steamy all the way through. Definitely recommend.

I have been sitting on this series for MONTHS y'all! I really do wish I had just started reading it AS SOON as I first saw it! I absolutely love this series! My only issue is that the characters kind of end up bleeding into each other in the way they speak? So sometimes It feels like I'm reading the same person.

J.B. Trepagnier did a great job on this series, the stories were written well, the plot and characters were strong. The stories were filled with action, suspense, twists and more. Serafina was a fighter, she's do what she had to. She had a strong connection with each of her men, their chemistry was sexy. They were good together. I enjoyed this series, it was great. Thanks, J.B. Trepagnier. Great work :)
These are the stories of Serafina and her new friends. She was framed for a crime and sent to Scorchwood, a prison for the truly evil. When she gets there she finds out she’s not the only elemental who’s been framed. Why are they framing elementals and sending them to rot in hell? Serafina and her friends are going to find out. I enjoyed this series and glad to have them all together. I received an arc of this book and am voluntarily leaving a review.
The Scorchwood Supernatural Penitentiary series is my first read by JB Trepagnier. This is a slow burn reverse harem with strong and interesting characters. This author has created a unique and intriguing world a page turning story. Serafina, Fergus, a wolf, a demon and a vampire try to figure what is really going on at the Penitentiary. The story is interesting and I look forward to reading more books by this author in the future. I voluntarily reviewed a copy of this collection.

I was so happy when I saw this box set, I had read book 1 and so to get the rest of the story in one sitting was perfect. There is a lot going on in these 3 books, which must be read in order. The character development is brilliant to follow and read. The plot is one of suspense, intrigue as well as steam. An entertaining box set.

I have so many series waiting on publication that I did a search for completed reverse harem series. I chose this and read it in a little over 24 hours. Seraphina is a sassy endearing heroine that gets a little "murdery" sometimes but only in righting wrongs. Little does she know that when she is framed for a crime she didn't commit, she would find her destiny. Great read.
I've read a lot of books written by JB Trepagnier; she has done a great job at writing a good set of books; she is one of my favorite authors. I can’t wait to read more of books her books.
The story lines caught my attention at the very beginning and kept me interested throughout the entire book.
I received a free copy of this boxset via booksprout and I’m voluntarily leaving a review.
I liked that all her mate's were a different species and no real Jealousy between the mate's. I love to read reverse harem romance Sci-fi or fantasy book. Especially series If they're good I recommend them to my daughter to read and vice versa she will recommend me books to read
Loved this series! I've read all of this series and totally loved it. Serafina, Skoll, Roman and Amducias had me enthralled with their romance and solving the elemental mystery going on in Scorchwood. Be aware that the books end on cliff hangers until the series is complete. I'm not normally someone who likes cliff hangers but these just kept me craving the next in the series.
I love this whole series and all these characters, and love how you can find some characters in a different series she wrote. I truly think Trepagnier should put a list out of which books to read in order because even though you can read each series separately, you should deff read each series in an order (Scorchwood before Silverhold Detention Center)
If you like series then you are going to enjoy this because its the full series in one place. I found the characters seem to blend into each other at times except for that it was enjoyable enough. I voluntarily reviewed a copy of this book via Booksprout.
I really appreciated that these books were in a boxset as I hadn't read any in the series, the characters were great and I really enjoyed marathoning the books.
