Well, apparently these are the last books. I really like the last one where they had Gwen back as well as the first generation (Darrell & friends). Good ending to a series that has a special place in my childhood and got me into a reader I am now.

Gwendoline Turns out for the Best!

How lovely to end the Melody Towers stories with the return, and success, of Gwendoline Lacey. The one terrible act of bullying I carried with me, from childhood, to adulthood was Gwen's spiteful pen stamping and the telltale smear of ink! What a satisfying bringing together of the first, and last, Mallory Towers stories.

A bitter sweet goodbye to Malory Towers.

At 80yrs old this month I have so enjoyed this book and the rest of the series. It is with great sadness that I say farewell to Darrell, Felicity and all their friends. Thank you Enid Blyton.

Superb!!

The books were simply marvellous, my daughter loved them as well as I did enjoy to read them.
The stories are fun and teach girls important lessons, my favourite series for girls.

This the last collection. June and Millicent fight for players, and Gwen comes back to make amends. It's filled with drama and the end is a little sad because they all leave Malory towers but the book overall is very nice.

Okay, so I don’t really think the books by Pamela Cox are really good. First, it’s weird how she makes the problem of the story OUTSIDE the main place. ⚠️Spoilers Now ⚠️ Like, about the case of Clarissa and Bill, it was outside Malory Towers. And the girls had to go to solve it - like what?? If there was a crime or mystery or robbery outside near their school, they didn’t have to solve it. I know they’re best friends, but they should’ve left it to the police. However, the only best part Pamela Cox has written is when she made the old girls’ reunion. I enjoyed it. But that was it. Most of it makes me confused, and it’s a copycat.

Like, the characters. June is Alicia. Felicity is Darrell. Nora is Irene. Freddie is Betty. Julie and Lucy are Bill and Clarissa. Why can’t these authors make something more interesting to put into a story? It so dull and original, when they can’t make anything sound or look good. Some interesting parts, though. It’s enjoyable, but doesn’t make much sense… but I still like it a bit.

It is not easy to carry forward the writing of Enid Blyton. Pamela has done a good work. The last 3 terms give a nice closure to the story. Plots are little more deeper (ethically and emotional backgrounds) when compared to these written by Enid Blyton, yet the book scores.

I loved the whole Malory Towers series and wish it never had to end. Reading it makes me wish I could've attended boarding school myself and had all these interesting moments. It is a series that I would read to my future children if I have any.

Another enjoyable Kindle book, Cox does an excellent job of getting the feel of Blyton, and not too modern
