Hungry for Her Wolves #6

Fated for Her Wolves

Rate this book
"I will battle a thousand demons and walk through ten thousand hells to save you."  For fans of Hungry for Her Wolves, comes the long awaited sequel to the best-selling shifter series.  Is fate's bond strong enough to save their love? For five long years, Tatiana Thunderfoot has longed for her fated mates, wishing she could complete the bond but feeling unworthy of their love; her cruel words had unintentionally sent their mother into a hunter's crosshairs.
Pressured by her family, she agrees to complete the bond with the four Romanian wolf-shifter brothers, but after making them wait so long, she fears that bond may no longer exist, and she's unsure how to win their love again.
Constantine, Dimitri, Andrei, and Dejan Lupescu have longed for Tatiana to return to them. No matter how many times they assured her their wicked mother's death wasn't her fault, she still hesitated. At their wits' end, they can't help the resentment that festers like a demon's burn. When three powerful, angry demons try to take over their Romanian town, they realize they have much bigger problems, especially when the creatures set their sights on Tatiana. They need to save their fated mate before they lose her forever. Also included is special bonus novelette, A Shifter Christmas, featuring Amara and Annie and their growing families.

Can you jump into book 6 without having read books #1-5? The answer is yes, because that's exactly what I did. The author provides just enough relevant background detail to allow you to understand the story, without totally spoiling previous books for you.

Would I have enjoyed this more had I read those 5 books? Possibly but it was still a good read, that I'm happy to recommend to anyone who enjoys PNR. I did have a personal dislike of the word "ribbon" being used as a euphemism for the vulva/labia area but as things stand that isn't a biggie.

The book is written third person from several viewpoints, which is perhaps more typical of the urban fantasy genre, but I liked it and the way it allowed the story to evolve. I really liked Tatiana, even Dimitri won me over in the end. Out of the four brothers I really didn't feel as though I knew Andrei at all. There seemed to be characteristics/traits that were inherent from the males birth order and their position within the quartet, however not having read the previous books I did struggle a little bit with that aspect.

The story was action packed, full of intrigue, danger and peril. I found myself totally caught up in it, enjoying the unexpected twists and turns of the plot. The ending was a little open, presumably setting up for the next book. My personal preference would be for it to feature this quintet as it's heroes and heroine, because whilst this book does have a HEA their story didn't feel quite complete. Even if it doesn't I will still be continuing with the series and can't wait for the next book.

Fantastic read!!! As a huge West fan I have been dying ti get my hands on the next installment in this Amaroki wolves series. Tatiana has been a great character in the other books but I was ready to finally read how her story was going to play out. I was not disappointed in the least as we get lots of surprise twists, the emotional angst of her prolonging the mating, and all the fallout that have been dealing with. Truly showcases how this all plays out in all its glory both the good and the bad. This all leads to one doozy of a cliff hanger ending that leaves you wanted the next installment now even though I know I have to wait. A total must read for fans of paranormal RH that has lots of wolf shifters. I totally loved it so I give it 5/5 stars.

Tara West did it again. The long awaited story of Tatiana and her mates. I seriously could not put this book down. The guilt, the hatred, the love and the chemistry drew me in. I went from being sad to angry to panicking to relief in this novel.

Her mates have been waiting for five long years to complete the bond but the guilt of killing their mom has destroyed her. On her way to finally complete the bond in Romania(if they will have her) she is once again torn away. Who will save her and prove their loyalty…..none other than the one who pushed her away!

“Maybe the Ancients will bless us with another mate, like they did our fathers.”

Oh yes he went there.
You will have to read it yourself to see what happens….ONE CLICK

This was a great book. I am one of few who had not read the first 5 books (Which I will be rectifying in the very near future. I really missed out.) so the opening scene had me a little confused but it did not take me long to catch up with what was happening. Not a dull moment. I had this read in two evenings because I just couldn't put it down. Only reason I put it down the first night was because the benedryl I took because of my son's cat finally knocked me out. I can't wait to see what happens next!

If you have read the previous books then you know what I am talking about, if you haven’t then why haven’t you? They are gripping and so so addictive, there’s action, adventure, betrayal, guilt and the chemistry is off the charts sizzling! With my heart in my mouth as the story amped up towards the end I’m literally screaming at my kindle and on the edge of my seat! This reverse paranormal harem series is just fantastic!

Amazingness!! I am so happy that Tatiana finally gets her story. I love this entire series and this book is no different. Lots of shifter action as well as an emotional rollercoaster that comes at you from all the characters. Tatiana finally gets to experience being with her mates only to get derailed by devilish demons who want nothing more than to destroy the Amaroki. Fabulously well written! Cannot wait to see what happens next! 💜🖤

As always Tara West has written a great story about the Amaroki shifters. She provides the sizzle and shock of sex and demons. Great ending that leaves you longing for the next part of the tale. As always I also enjoy how characters from previous books play a roll as well! Can't wait for the next one.

When will this end?!

It’s not often I write a review but felt the need to for this one. This one was a slog, I thought about stopping at 22%, 29%, 44%, 64%. I’m writing this at 64% because I’ve decided I won’t be reading the remaining books. This really says a lot because I'm a fairly easily pleased person, out of the 500 odd books I've read over the last 3 years, I can only think of 2 other series that I didn't bother finishing.

It’s just the same thing every book, the only thing different are the names, sort of lol So many names and because they are all basically the same character, it can get confusing at times, especially since all the books are connected and the characters from each book turns up in the series, you sit there and wonder, just wait. . .which one was that? For instance at one point Luc turns up in this book and I had to go and check the write up for the first book to double check that he was the one mated to Amara.

Another thing that was off putting in these books, the descriptors, slick ribbon, really?! Ugh.

It’s taken me 3 days to get this far, on a 200 odd page book, I really don’t want to waste me time finishing it but I hate leaving things unfinished . . .

ETA - went back to the book to try and finish it after writing this review and I just can't be bothered, I've lost the will to live at this stage.

This story is about fated mates. Tatiana should have bonded with her four mates five years ago but she couldn’t complete the bond as she feels responsible for there mother’s death. Then she is on her way to complete the bond after being pressured by her family Once they arrive and she sees Constantine, Dimitri, Andrei, and Dejan she still has doubts. Dimitri has taken the rejection the worst. When there Romanian town is taken over by demons there only thought is to protect there mate. Then Dimitri goes to get drunk and his brothers go to reason with him. Three of them talk not knowing that Tatiana has got a lift to talk to them and what she overheard makes her run out to walk back but she is captured by the demons and so her nightmare begins. I was given this ARC for an honest review which I have given. I’ll just say this is a must read.

Love this book...

This is such a wonderful book. I'm so glad they finally got together. Such a crazy ending too. I can't wait for the next book in the series. Tara left it on such a crazy cliffhanger. Ah! I love how she finds a way to include all the characters from the previous books. This way the reader can still continue the journey of the other characters as well. It's done in such a skillful way that it doesn't detract from the main characters of that particular book.

I'm also so happy for Tatiana. She has been my favorite from the beginning. Hopefully soon things will work out for her and her mates. They all deserve happiness, especially after everything they've been through.

Another wonderful book in the series. Way to go Tara. 💜🙂

Since her pseudo mother-in-law's death several years ago, Tatiana has been trapped in a persistent funk. Despite reassurances from everyone that it's not her fault, she continues to harbor this belief. Her self-loathing has led her to feel unworthy, prompting her to distance herself from her four fated mates and delay their mating ritual. After five years since their initial meeting, she returns to Romania for what should be a joyous reunion. However, everything takes a dark turn with demons, black magic, revenge, kidnapping, and the complications of doubting and distrustful mates, creating a tumultuous mix of emotions and danger.

Somewhere between 4 and 5 ⭐️’s - I can’t decide if it’s closer to 4 ⭐️’s 🤷‍♀️

Tara West is just Amazing for this series!!!!!

As with all of Tara Wests book's I absolutely loved everything about them from the characters to the story line minus the cliffhanger that has me crying for the next book that's not yet released!! I have been waiting to see how Tatiana's own story would play out and it was so much better then I imagined. The guilt and shame she felt for hurting her mates mother was gut wrentching but thankfully she will never have to worry about that again after seeing first hand how horrible and selfish Katrina truly was.

I totally devoured this book! Following Amara right through to Tatiana in this latest in the series. Each book gets better and better and more complex. The characters are compelling and authentic. A whirlwind of demons, magic and shapeshifting! Quite a few twists in this book, and the beauty is that it was unpredictable. As always, Tara takes us on a journey, one of passion, guilt, love and magic, building up to a climate that leaves one salivating for more! Looking forward to the next installment, can't wait to see how Tatiana and Dimitri fare with the black spec

Lots of action, lots of danger, and lots of heat!

Tatiana has a lot of issues to overcome before she can accept her mates as HERS. She needs to forgive herself and trust in her mates before she can have the life she wants. It may take losing everything for her to understand and tame her demons.

I really liked all the action in this book. And it ended in such a way that you just know you haven't seen much of anything just yet.

OMG! We've been anxiously awaiting the story of Tatiana and her Wolves, and Tara doesn't disappoint!!! She definitely knows how to ratchet up the suspense! For me there were tears (of sadness and joy), outraged shouts (sometimes you REALLY want to punch a character!), and regular growling at many points in the narrative. ;-) I would most definitely recommend jumping feet first in the whole series, you won't regret it AT ALL!

Unresolved

I loved all her other books but I was disappointed after this one. It leaves you hanging on chapter 18 and just abruptly stops. Then you get a very short story bonus which was fun but doesn't make up for the fact that this book is completely unresolved and needs to be continued. I do not recommend reading this till the next book or books are complete. It is unusual for this author to do this.

Repetetive and no originality

The actions are so repetitive and the stories seem to be written to a formula. Even though the setting changes in each book the plot is so similar. Sex scenes and demons are so predictable that the entertainment value is less each time. Where is the originality?
The books now seem to have become serialized and if a reader picks up any in the series without beginning with book one, then much will not be understood.

I didn’t think I could handle this one during the first couple of chapters. The series just gets whinier and whinier. It’s hard to feel like the pack are actually grown men instead of coming of age teens. However, as the story develops it gets better. We see the first time that the female is the lone hero, though she pays for that choice. At least it mostly turns out well in the end. The cliffhanger is what is still lurking within Dimitri & Tatiana

Wow I totally loved seeing Tatiana and her mates come together to make a great series grow even better.
This book has such a strong storyline and strong headed characters in Tatiana, Constantine, Dimitri, Andrei and Dejan. Each character has their own way of dealing with the years they have spent apart and not being bonded, and Damitri is the worst. When Tatiana over hears him wishing for another mate while drunk, we see her captured by demons.
With many twists and turns we see things come to a get clash between the wolves and the demons. To then end the book in an amazing way.
Then to add in the extra chapters to Amara and her mates from the first books we see their baby girl arrive. So so sweet loved this book from start to finish.

I absolutely love this series and this book didn’t disappoint! I have waited for the story of Tatiana and her mates since the first book. This book kept me right on the edge of my seat the entire time. I was really able to feel the pain and guilt Tatiana felt over harming Katarina and the resulting absence from her mates. I can’t wait to read the next book in the series!

Great book

This series just keeps getting better and better. It took a while for this book to come out but it was sure worth the wait. Stayed up until 4am reading and didn't want to put it down. Tara sure has a way with these wolves. In fact I reread the entire series again. Was really glad that Tatiana finally got her story. Or at least the beginnings of it.
