Family Ties

Rate this book
Family comes in all shapes, sizes, personalities and needs. As the saying goes, you can choose your friends, but God places us in families, meaning we’re kind of stuck with them. Family Ties pulls the curtain back to allow us a peek into the complicated, frustrating and often fulfilling relationships between La Patron’s extended family. Will Renee’s request stretch the familial bonds of sisterhood too far? Or Kim’s need for Sarita’s assistance just as she and David start their vacation? Is Razor and Storm certain they made the right decisions after the coin toss? Will Bella and Adam allow her father to prevent her from accessing her mother’s gravesite? Family challenges met and settled in this La Patron novel: Family Ties.

I live in the southeast and enjoy reading and writing all things paranormal. Nothing is more relaxing than cracking open a new adventure in a new world.

I love paranormal tales and characters in general and shifter stories in particular. Throw in the romantic element, strong Alpha characters who bend beneath the power of love and I’m over the moon. Sighs…

Wolf Nation Family Strong!!

I always enjoy reading this series. It is one of my favorites!! This was a great summation of what is going on in the Wolf Nation family, how they come together, support each other, love one another and above all life's difficulties they remain tried & true; Wolf Nation Family Strong!!

Family Ties

Love visiting the world of Silas and Jasmine Knight. Family ties has all the family drama, laughs, and enemies. Jasmine’s mother and sister as usual puts her in the middle of their drama, and she has to deal with it before Silas takes matters into hand. The adventures of the pups and their mates brought laughter, action, and reconciliation. Silas Knight, the baddest wolf on the planet, has family drama just like everyone else, but if he has to deal with the problem, no one is going to like it . There were parts I wanted to get past to get to the good parts, but overall, Family Ties is a 10. I recommended every book in this series.

Always intriguing

Another great episode in this saga of family and friends. It kept me involved from beginning to end and then wishing for it to continue. It has so many relatable dramas, interactions and emotions that you kind of forget they aren't real > I'd argue they are! Can"t wait for the next ... I have gone back and re-read most I guess it's time to finish them up. Kudos for another outstanding book!!!! Thank you for all your time and continued effort in maintaining such high standards in your writing and thank your team for all their work as well. Wish you a great summer and stay safe!! ; )

This is what dedication is. To be able to write a series that's nearly or over thirty books. And to come up with a fresh perspective with every story that follows. Only a true storyteller and author is abe to do that. The series will grab you and hold onto you. It will never let go. If you're a lover of paranormal books, you need to get this book. Better yet. Start the series with Birthright. Thank you miss Sydney for a truly phenomenal book, again.

Missing years

I can't get over the fact Jasmaine and Silas pups are now adults and are mated. They went from being born, to elementary school, straight to adults. What happened during their adolescents and/or teen years? Were they rebellious? Did they have a life outside the compound? Did they have friends? Were they mischievous or created problems for their parents to fix? I just can't wrap my head around the fact that these years are missing. Further, I might be the only one but I also think Silas and Jasmaine's marriage need a little shaking up. A short term breakup or something. They are predictable and boring. In the beginning of this book, I thought finally, some drama within the marriage but nope, it only lasted a few seconds to my disappointment. After so many years of marriage, you would think they'd experience a great deal challenges that they must work through while balancing the goddess's creed or demands. Oh, well, some readers like myself can't have it all. Nevertheless, this was an okay read.

All in the family

This book was different from all the previous La Patron books. We get insight to each character and their mates. Each mated couple has their own set of problems, especially Renee and Melange who have opened up a pandora's box for pack and caused a dilemma for Silas to consider. Renee has also caused major problems for Melange but they managed to come to terms with their situation. Adam and Bella have also come to terms with Bella's father as well. In the end Grandfather drops a bomb that would please Melange and cure her boredom.

Never disappointed

Once again I read this story in one sitting. Thank you Ms. Addae for updating the lives of these characters, keeping them lifelike and real enough that I can visualize each concept. There is growth, maturity, and come to Jesus moments. I can imagine this series on a viewing screen. Wonder what the creators of Black Panther could do with the series?!

Very enjoyable

I loved this story with the updates on how everyone is doing. This is a great idea! I wish more authors did that with long running series. You like a little update to see where everyone is. There was plenty of action and heartwarming stuff. But man are there always some evil assholes out there who need to be stopped.

It was a wonderful read. It was written in episodes. It was fast paced, full of energy. It was nice seeing how the nation progressed and catching up with Solar and the other blackwolves.

Continuing story of La Patron, his wife Jasmine and their families. Nicely done the multiple stories. Similar to a tv show or movie. Interesting to see Razor and Storm's growth.
