This is one of the more emotional reads by Faith that I've read.
I cried more than with all her other ones I think.
Just the whole situation and little Mateo. That was a little boy after my own heart.
I can't wait for Kyllian's story. It'll definitely be a dozy.

4 ½ Stars
Wreaking Havyk is an excellent continuation of the Hounds of Zeus series, and Havyk is my favorite brother so far. Of course, that changes with each new book.
I'm not going to lie; I cringed when I read the prologue. I am not a fan at all of drug cartel type books. They make me very uncomfortable in the feelings of helplessness I feel towards their victims, so I stay far away from them. But I have trusted this author through many different storylines, so I pushed through to the other side. And I'm glad I did.
Havyk is a strong character, and his path to his future is interesting in the differences in his outlook and those of his brothers.
Sadie is strong in her own way. Her ability to compartmentalize her life is sad in its necessity but admirable in its execution.
When these two came together, I could feel their connection and spark. I found myself rooting for Sadie and Havyk and the happy ending that they both deserved.
There is enough action to keep things moving along. The bad guys are easy to hate. I got to hear from previous books' characters, which is always lovely. And the romance and sexy times give me confidence in their HEA. This book ticks all my boxes.
I enjoyed this.

Wreaking Havyk (The Hounds of Zeus Book 4) by Faith Gibson. As the youngest brother his job has been making custom designer bikes. He is quite good at what he does. Now he wants to get more involved with the family business. His first big job has him taking out a drug dealer and his wife. Once again this author does what she does best. She writes stories about characters I could care less about but end up loving not only the characters but their story too. When scoping out his marks he discovers the wife doesn't fit. Havyk doesn't see a reason to kill her. As he takes a closer look at her, he comes to see that she is tied to him in several different ways. While he puts all the pieces together and discovers the secrets and deception, we the reader are taken on a fabulous journey. As with this author's other books we get to see and catch up with other characters from her other books. I can't get enough of this author's storytelling abilities. Anytime she comes out with a new book I am on it. Not everyone is into shifters that are different than the regular. This is not a regular author. Another enjoyable story for me. Looking forward to the next book. 4.5 stars for me.

An exciting and twisted shifter romance read
Mercedes, a trapped wife, finds herself dreaming of a blue-eyed savior and catches the eye of Hayden, a griffon and Son of Zeus MC member, when she is at a club with her drug dealer abusive husband. As the story progresses her past comes to light, his reason for being in the area shocks, and if the truth is not brought to the surface a future is not guaranteed. Faith Gibson’s Wreaking Havyk is an exciting and twisted shifter romance read. I loved that he followed his gut and stuck to his principles. I was hoping for a happy ending and the author delivered the perfect match for Hayden. Reader discretion advised due to dark subject matter and/or possible triggers.

Another great story from one of my favorite writers. She is an automatic pre-buy every time. Wreaking Havyk is about the youngest brother who designs and makes kick ass motorcycles. He is restless and ready for change. He wants what everyone else has - love and happiness. Getting more involved in the family business his first job has him taking out a drug dealer and his wife. In doing his due diligence he finds that the wife isn’t really part of the operation. Then the fun begins!
In this series, Faith has taken storytelling to an entire new level. Each of these couples get their own adventure and adventure is quite high here. This story will suck you in and grip you until you finish the book. It’s hard to put the book down. You want to live in this world of creatures.

I am loving this series!
Miss Gibson offers us a treat with this book and the whole series! Havyk and Sadie's story! She just wants away from the life she has been a prisoner in, saving her heart and protecting herself from the evil that dwells in this world. Havyk wa nts what anyone would want, to be seen, loved, cherished, able to reciprocate those feelings with his own person and maybe a few others (don't know but we will see with what is to come. Love this whirl through this desperate fight to bring justice to the victims who cannot stand for themselves. These men are honorable their own pasts. Trust me you want this series on your shelf! I recommend this book and this author!

He maybe b the youngest but he completely understand his but feelings and trust them in a crisis. When he finds the 1 woman he recognized as the same one that he did the mural 4 as a job he will find out the truth and fix anything that has 2 do with saving her and her son. He will find out the truth whether others think so or not and he will have help from his family. She is scared 2 trust and do anything cause of what circumstances she's in what that will hopefully change 4 the better cause is a stranger that is like a good sent. She doesn't want 2 trust but she has a feeling that tells her Simone this stranger is so much more 2 her than what it seems and all 4 the better.

Everything is not always clear-cut
Hayden/Havyk goes to Texas to deliver a motorcycle with a tribute to a missing teen girl painted on it and to stop a human trafficking operation. While there he visits with his older sisters and their families. What else he finds could change his life forever.
I won't spoil the story by talking about Mercedes but this is such a great story!!! I love the twins Major and Marshall as they bring humor to a story that contains heart breaking aspects. Now we get another boy named Mateo who the twins may get to corrupt into the same kind of life-loving boys as them.

Well, that was almost a tear jerker. Great set of characters in the Gryphon universe and yes, the little guys almost made me shed a tear in the end. Great writing once again. Love that all the characters are still playing roles and the world keep getting bigger with the addition of a few more players being slowly introduced. These two series could go on forever as gar as I'm concerned.
Loved the main characters in this story, strong males and even stronger females. A little bit of everything once again, drama, suspense, romance and some tenderness. Just about perfect mix to keep you interested and reading.

Faith Gibson continues to provide amazing stories around her Gryphons!
Hayden is doing his part to help out with the MC’s goal of finding those in need and destroying those who cause others pain. Little does he realize that his mate is the one he will need to find and protect.
The intricate weaving of shifters into the world of a motorcycle club is what Faith does best. The feelings of the men and women who are part of this vast community keep us wanting more! I love these stories!!!

Hayden senses serve him well. His is assigned to rid the world of one Juan Carlos Alvarez and his wife Mercedes. His sense that the wife is an innocent has him looking into her. It is his code not to kill an innocent. What he discovers surprises him.
This story is one of action, excitement and love. We discover that Mercedes is Sadie. Sadie has a son that she loves and protects as much as she can.
I loved the action and the pace of this story. Faith Gibson has given readers a thrilling journey to enjoy. I just loved this and look forward to the next adventure.

Great read!
I always enjoy reading about the Gryphons & Gargoyles that Faith writes about. This is another winner. The story is full of twists & turns. Need you interested all the way through. The way Faith writes makes you feel as is her characters have become your family and friends too. Thank you for another great read. It made my day very enjoyable while I finish my Covid quarantine.

Faith Gibson isn't a cookie cutter author. Often you'll find a series where each successive book is the same as the previous with just a few minor details changed. Not this one. Each set of characters per book has a completely different setting, relationship and experiences than a previous book. I fell in love with the Stone Society series and have loved the Hounds just as much. Excited for more of both!

Brilliant
Thoroughly recommended. The latest Hounds of Zeus book follows Hayden as he is assigned to take out drug dealer and human trafficker Juan and his wife Mercedes. Doing background surveillance he realises, not only is Mercedes, innocent and a victim of a kidnapping when she was 15 but she is also his mate.
Hayden becomes determined to rescue Mercedes and her son to keep them safe from not just her husband. Fantastic addition to this series.

Hadyen (Havyk) and Mercedes (Sadie) are a great pair, and their story is another must read in this series. Her a strong female who does whatever she has to in order to protect her son, him the baby of the family who is just starting in the family business. when they come together all bets are off. This book has all the action, suspense, heat that you come to expect from this other, I was not disappointed and would recommend this book and series.

With each book in The Hounds of Zeus, I'm more amazed by the author's talents.
Faith combined characters from two series and intertwined their lives. The Stone Society Gargoyles and The Hounds of Zeus Griffins share one definition. Family.
To give a review on one book is almost impossible. While the books bring forward a different griffin, family continues in each book.
It's futile to resist falling for the characters in any of her books.

I love it!!!
First of all, I LOVE THIS series!!! I just happened across Waging War while looking for a new book by an author I hadn't read yet. Man, did I luck out!! While I really loved the first three books, (obviously, because I was hooked from Book 1), this one was my favorite. I loved Sadie and Hayden. Now, to wait for Spyder's book!!! I can't wait!!!!

As always, another great book from Faith!
I love the story line, I am never able to not read one of Faith's books in one sitting. I fell in love with Sadie and her struggle to be free. We always know there is going to be a great outcome however, the build up of getting there is what keeps you guessing and wanting more of these characters.

Gentle gryphon
Loved this story. It mixed it up outside the ministry and brought in a different mafia type in the drug cartel. Young girl taken and raised to be a trophy wife gets a breath of fresh air when havyk comes to save the day. Their chemistry is great and I loved all the characters. Cannot wait for the next story!

OMG! This series just keeps getting better. I absolutely 💯 ♥ Havyk and Sadie. I laughed and cried. This was a heart-rending story with a great HEA! Faith Gibson takes you on a action packed adventure in this one. An absolute must read!!

Hayden has many awards for his custom paint on bikes, but this latest one really gets to him. When he's ready to deliver, Ryker gives him a job while he's there. Only there's a hangup, half the job involves the face on the bike. Many twists and turns here.

Action, romance, and shifters, oh my!
The 4th book in the series is just as wonderful as the rest! The youngest Lazlo finds his mate in the most unexpected place. Saving her from a drug kingpin, who has held her captive for years. A ton of action, surprises, and shifter love.

Enjoyable
Enjoyed the theme and story line. Wondering who the "bad guy" is before the end to see if you are right.
