On the day of our wedding, he humiliates me in front of a thousand people.
Seven days later, I'm on my knees, begging him to punish me again. I never thought I'd find myself craving the cruel touch of a mafia boss, but I am, and it might just end in my death.
Kazimir. His name means destroyer of peace. It fits him well.
Behind his devious smirk is a black box of secrets. The reasons why he married me. His tongue weaves lies just as well as it creates wicked pleasure, and he revels in doing both. He's a bad man and he knows that, but he doesn't want to change.
He wants to twist me into a cruel reflection of himself, and I'm not sure if I'm strong enough to stop him.
I'm going to hell with him, and I'll be soaked in guilty sin the entire way down.
Wedding Sin is an explosive standalone start to a mafia series so real and dark, you won’t be able to put it down. As always, it has a HEA and absolutely no cheating.
Fast-paced steamy mafia read. Kazimir and Jasmine are married but he is keeping lots of secrets from her, particularly why he married her in the first place. Will Jasmine be strong enough from twisting her in to the monster he is? Intense chemistry with lots of drama and twists and turns. I really liked it.
An arranged marriage for Kazimir and Jasmine. by sewsummore
Jasmin met Kazimir for the first time, the day before their wedding. It was an arranged marriage orchestrated by her father and Kazimir, with a dowry of ten million dollars paid for her care and protection. Jasmine never knew about the money nor that her father stole the money. All she knew was that her father said it would be a good marriage and to trust in his word. Kazimir had expected his bride to be a beautiful but thoroughly spoilt young woman. When her parents and younger sister were murdered and tortured on her wedding night, Jasmine was devasted. Kazimir knew he could not let his new wife fall into depression or allow her to suffer the same fate as her family. Taking her to his Night Club and putting her to work as a waitress kept her busy and watch over her, allowing them to learn more about each other. He was surprised to learn that she adapted to her new life quickly, emerging into a confident, bright young woman, very different from the shy, softly spoken woman he married. During the weeks following their marriage, Kazimir's attraction to his wife deepened with Jasmine slowly accepting of him as her husband. Learning he was the head of a mafia organization, a killer with blood on his hands shocked Jasmine, and despite having fallen in love with him, she runs away. It was then that one of the men responsible for her family's murder kidnaps her. Their story does not end there, but you will have to read the book to discover what happens next. I found this book a quick read with characters I could understand. The growing affection and later love between Kazimir and Jasmine made absorbing read as did the mystery behind her family's murders. I received a free copy of this book via Booksprout and am voluntarily leaving an honest review.
This was supposed to be a Mafia genre read, but did not present itself that way. Neither Kasmir of Jasmine were characters that as the reader, I liked. I never felt a connection or felt anything for either character. The entire story seemed staged and didn't flow well as so many of Ms King's novel do. There were gaps in the story with little or no explanation such as why Kasmir married a complete stranger (of course it was all about money). The story line was distracting with Jasmine's character exhausting. One minute she is the coveted daughter who doesn't do drugs, drinks or smokes and the next minute she is smoking, drinking and taking advantage of the drugs at Kasmir's club. She is naive, childish and too easily manipulated. She doesn't seem to have any issue with marrying a stranger, one she has never met as long as daddy dearest sanctioned it. I believe the year is 2020 not 1820.
Kasmir's character was obnoxious from the beginning. His actions seemed odd throughout the novel as a mob boss and husband to Jasmine. His treatment of Jasmine, until the end of the book showed little empathy or feeling for her. One minute he tells her that her family has been murdered and the next he is making her serve cocktails at his club when one of his workers lands in the hospital. He never gives her time to grieve or showed any feeling toward her loss. He comes off as very cold and thoughtless.
This author writes well and I have enjoyed many of her Mafia genre novels in the past. This book just didn't do it for me. I need to connect or like the characters in a novel, even the really dark ones. Neither Kasmir or Jasmine were overly dark characters, just not very interesting ones.
⚔️⚔️⚔️DARK AND DECADENT ⚔️⚔️⚔️ Holy hell! If you're looking for something that jumps right into the action, grabs all the mayhem, rides through hell with a vengeance, plenty of dark decadence, gritty heat and steaming rides, sowing the seeds of masochism and watching them grow, binding this jewel together seamlessly. Congratulations my friends you've just been slammed by an avalanche at 200+ miles per hour, crashing hard and buried deep, wrapping this baby up sleek, shiny and tight. Broken lines and shattered boundaries, limitations are amplified and exploited, laying out all the fervent facts, feels and fiascos, shifting this baby into overdrive, blasting it into a tailspin with a mind-blowing culmination. Traversing through a minefield of perilous drama, damning secrets, chilling danger and spiraling suspense, negotiating through the dark deceptive manipulations of churning evil and malicious intent, checking allies and dispatching foes, propelling this baby to staggering heights. Braided, bound and tightly banded, exposing the thrilling quirks and defying bents, propelling this jewel to a whole new level. The magnetism, attraction and sizzling chemistry collides with such intensity, exposing thrilling emotions, drawing our characters closer, binding them to one another perfectly. The characters, interactions and charged atmosphere along with relatable qualities and individual traits, adding depth and diversity, transforming into outstanding personalities. The scenes are strikingly sharp with abundant details and vivid descriptions creating an elaborate backdrop that makes the storyline explode. Fantastic job Bella, thanks for sharing this bad boy with us.
I don’t know if my usual authors are just pitch black in the dark mafia writing but I didn’t really find this dark. If you want something that kind of skirts the edges of dark but doesn’t delve head first into it then this might be for you. Personally neither of the main characters were enjoyable. Big bad mafia guy but he’s is wishy washy. With the first threat of punishment I was excepting maybe some bdsm, or forced but he doesn’t he lets her sleep in the tub then apologizes which is sweet but to me set the tone for a very pg 13 version of the mafia. Also if he’s in charge of all the king mafia why is he running one club and Bar tending every night. Wouldn’t he have people for that? The lead female was just to naive and clueless to miss everything going on in the beginning. And seriously your whole family dies and your forced to work and woohoo it’s like it didn’t happen? I was over all disappointed with this story. It spent so much time on the wedding and her working in the club instead of discovering why her family dies and mafia related stuff. The first two death scenes were fairly short. The best part was the glass bottle scene through their first time. That to me was mafia feel. The rest was a lot of a let down. This also should have been either dual narrated or done with a male narrator (no offense to S.R.). The most of this book to me was done from the guys perspective. She did great with the female roll (her voice is amazing) but I just feel like the it was to much man for a female narrator.
Wedding Sin is the first book in the Mafia Kings series by Bella King. It is a Mafia story that is a bit different from other books. For some readers they may not like it and for others they may love it. For me I had to sit with the book for a few days after finishing it before writing a review, as I was just not sure how I felt exactly. Now I think I am down the middle on it. There were some things that I really enjoyed and found riveting. Then there were times where I was either rolling my eyes and almost yelling "NO! Don't do that you idiot." or found frustrating. I liked Jasmine, the heroine. She is a sweet and loving young woman who is very naive, almost child like, as she had been sheltered. But at the same time I wanted to shake her up as she did things that did not make sense. As for Kazimir, the H, he is a brute and more. There were some things missing in the story for me that I found frustrating. The flow was also off to me as the story-line jumped from one thing to the next without any type of lead-in and there were several side plots happening at the same time. In the end I was disappointed but I will still pick up the next book in the series to see what happens.
I received a copy of this book for my honest review. My opinions are all my own.
Book 1 in the Mafia Kings series this book follows Kazimir and Jasmins story. When Kazimir was offered to wed a beautiful woman whose nearly half your age and get 10 million for it he could only say yes. Being the head of the Kings mafia Kazimir wants to use the money to get some normality in his life opening a club to launder the money through as it raises less suspicions than other illegal activities, so the 10 million and a wife doesnt sound to bad a start. Jasmine accepts her fathers sudden push to marry Kazimir beleive he would only do so with the best intentions but when her family is missing from the wedding she begins to worry about what type of man she has married but as tragedy strikes the morning after her wedding Jasmines life is turned upside down now she only has Kazimir to protect her and awaken her to a world far darker than she thought possible, but it also awakens a need in Kazimir for her too. Well written faced paced with action, desire, hot scenes and mafia!

I’ve read a lot of dark mafia romances, and many of those by Bella King, but WEDDING SIN is a refreshing take in the genre. What makes it unique is it seems a more realistic take on the life of a crime lord. It contrasts rather than glamorizes the ugly world a criminal knows compared to the privileged vanilla world his wife was part of.
Kazimir will seem very gritty and rude toward his new wife, not caring what unsavory trappings of his world he exposes her to and even encourages her to partake. She is completely naive - and worse than that, believes she’s not naive. If you can read this without thinking at least once “No, don’t do that!”, I would be surprised.
So read WEDDING SIN to experience a different kind of darkness and grittiness of an underworld romance.

I love a great Mafia book but this just wasn't one., This book is about a young woman, Jasmine and Kazimir the Mafia boss she marries in the first chapter. Jasmine is a sweet and innocent young girl who was, sold to a man by her loving father. No further information there except that the same day as her wedding, her entire family was brutally murdered. That didn't really seem to be a big deal for Jasmine as she the next day went to work in her new husbands night club. Jumping from one plot into another, and then another with no explanation for anything happening, tell the end when Jasmine tries to run away and is kidnapped. But Jasmine is able to escape after killing the kidnapper and runs right back to Kazimir. It ends leaving more questions then answers.

This is a new series - book1. The author is new to me as well. I enjoy mafia stories but this one left me liking some parts and hating others. The story is about Jasmine and Kashmir. Jasmine’s father trades her to Kashmir like his prize cow as well a 10,000,000. This is common in mafia stories but Kashmir is cruel, ruthless and I did not ever come,to,like this character. Jasmine is just too naive throughout -It made the story too unbelievable and so I found myself not caring for either which made the read disappointing. It had potential but just wasn’t executed well. As well, I continued to hope someone would brutally take out the father.

(2 and a half stars) I really tried to like this book, but it fell flat, nothing like the other mafia stories. Jasmine was immature and naive, I mean seriously who crawls under bathroom stalls in your wedding dress to get away from people having sex? She causes her own embarrassment. I never really got a liking for her she never wises up and continues to be impulsive and ends up in a bad situation, but I do give her points for saving herself in the end. I did like Kazimir's character and could relate to him. Just not for me - I prefer my heroines smarter and more mature.

This is a very interesting read. I was drawn to this book because I have read books by this author and enjoyed them. Kazimir is a mafia man and has an arranged marriage to Jasmin. Unfortunately, I could not empathise with these two characters. The things that went on in this story did not ring true to what a mafia don would do. Would he really work in his own bar and not have bodyguards? Would he have his wife working in said bar? I think not. Having said all that it was an entertaining story including murder and kidnapping. I have purchased this also.

This was not for me at all, couldn’t get into it from the beginning.
I didn’t like Kazimir at all, he never grew on me and if anything, i found it difficult to believe he was head of a mafia family.
Jasmine was allegedly a young innocent, sold by her father to Kazimir for 10million, so he would protect her. ( although her father thought Kazimir was a business man and bearing in mind he knew the person he wanted her protecting from, was a vicious loan shark !!! ).
I never took to Jasmine either. One minute she’s a goody two shoes, who doesn’t drink, smoke or have sex. The next she’s smoking, drinking, trying drugs, driving with no licence and then agreeing to sex for the first time in her husband’s dirty sweaty bar, where she works.
I read all the book, although i did contemplate skipping through it.
First star for the cover. It;s perfectly sexy silver fox. Second star for the blurb. Definitly intriguing for me since this is a new author for me. I always love force/arrange marriage and Mafia romance.
And I;m sorry to say I have no feelings for the characters. I can;t feel the chemistry. I don;t see growth in the characters. There;s just too many holes in the story.
I;m at 70% ish in the book when I write this review and I don;t think I can continue reading.

This book had a lot going for it - strong characters, well paced story and It was just a bit strange... starting with the groom being the most awful person to his bride, losing patience with her and getting her to walk home at night in her wedding dress without a key to get in. Yet he was a really decent guy (apart from killing loads of people). He was also supposed to be the boss of a mafia but he didn't seem to have a team of men. Hmmm didn't really get it...
Wedding Sin by Bella King is a gritty dark mafia romance surrounding the forced marriage between Jasmine and Kazimir who is offered ten million dollars to marry Jasmine by her father. Their wedding day starts the book's mysterious plot with the murder of all of Jasmine's family. I found this book to be an unusual mafia read and Kazimir's character to be rather cruel which is what you would expect from a true mafia member.

I really like this author and I loved the cover pic and the blurb, but this is not my favorite book by her. It’s a decent read, the plot is an interesting one and the character depth is acceptable, but I really would have enjoyed a bit more. Don’t get me wrong, I enjoyed the book I just think this author usually writes a bit better than this and so that left me wanting. If this is a new author to you then you are in for a real treat as Bella King’s off days are way better than some author’s great days!

Listen to this one on audible. Listening to books more now than I used to. I listen to them at work now. I really liked the voice of the narrator on this one. What’s a girl to do when she’s married off to a man she doesn’t know? Just deal with it as best as she can. When you learn things about your new husband you’re not to site what to think. He betrays you by keeping something from you. You take off only to hit a major snag. Will he come to your rescue in time? This is a stand-alone mafia romance.
Jasmine is getting married to a man her father chose for her, to protect her. Kazimir is head of the King Mafia. He believes this will be an easy deal but nothing worth having is easy. The characters were sloppy, not as developed. There was no story line. There were several plots. And the editing needs a lot of work.

This book was epic! Bella King hit the mark on this one! I couldn't put my kindle down for a second. This book told of the complicated relationship between Kazimir King and Jasmine King. Kazimir is the leader of the King Mafia. Jasmine enters an arranged marriage but she has no clue what she's in for. Jasmine is naive and innocent. Things start happening around her and it makes her question her marriage arrangement. This book is a must read and I highly recommend!
An intriguing on the edge of your seat book one in the Mafia Kings series! A lot happens in this book - twists and turns, ups and downs, danger, suspense, drama, secrets, action, and more. The story-line is engaging, well-developed, and emotionally deep with characters you will like and hate. Highly recommended.

A good story with a good premise. A father gives his young virgin daughter Jasmine in mariage as well as 10 million dollars to Kasimir King, the mafia boss. Jasmine is a bit too naive. Although she gets better by the end of the story. It's worth the read.

For a price, it was Jasemine father who gave her to Kazimir! That won’t be the shocker of this story though. Its the surprise that keeps coming. The main characters has chemistry. She’s so innocent! He’s so freakin cruel but in a hot way!

I liked the premise but the story didn’t read as well as I thought it would be based on the last few books I have read by this author. The chemistry was missing from this couple. She was s great character though his character seemed one dimensional. I liked the idea of the story and hope to read something a bit better next time. It was still an interesting read.
There were quite a few spelling mistakes and the author forgets what actually happened in her own book when the lead female character recounts what happened. Had the potential to be a very good book, the story wasn't bad but the characters always felt a bit distant and you never really know them.
jasmine and Kazimir just got married and he humiliates her in front of everyone .And it didn't get any better from there because Kashmir is very cruel and vindictive. This was a very dark mafia read

I enjoyed Kazmir & Jasmin's book. Good characters. This was a very intriguing & intense read. Love my mafia books. I received a free arc copy of the book. And am voluntarily leaving my honest opinion.
This couple at first sight and glance were getting married. Then the wedding did not go off as they both hope. It's hate at once. Later they felt more, as time goes on...Wonderful story.
