Are you aware of the important role the body’s acid-alkaline balance plays in maintaining optimum health? Many top research scientists and microbiologists have shown scientific evidence that proves balanced pH is a foundational component to health and wellness. One of the contributing factors in all disease can be boiled down to one very simple thing — TOO MUCH ACID! In this groundbreaking new book you’ll learn the simple secrets that the medical elite are hiding from you. If you’re sick and tired of the confusion and mystery medical science has attached to disease, this powerful new book will cut through the clutter and show you how to bullet-proof your body from the ravages of disease.
The premise of this book is that the proper balance of the pH within our bodies is what determines our overall health. Research has proven that an overly acidic environment is always present in every disease state. Our bodies function best, when they are just slightly alkaline. The body”s intelligence is constantly trying to maintain a blood pH of between 7.3 and 7.45 even if it means excreting alkaline minerals such as calcium from bones and other tissues. If the blood pH varies on either side of this, a heart attack could be very possible. Proper levels are necessary for many processes from enzyme production to creating hormones. Part 2 of the book explains how to test your own pH levels and what you can do to improve them. Part 3 goes further and encourages a regular routine of cleanses to detoxify and useful therapies to further help promote proper pH . I loved every bit of this book, probably because it comes against mainstream medicine and its lack of ability to help people discover how to really get and stay healthy. This, also coupled with the bold stance against Pasteur’s popular “Germ Therapy” which disregarded the focus of tissue health being paramount in the fight against disease made me glued to every page. Contrary to Pasteur’s misguided theory, leading cellular physiologist, Claude Bernard, focused on the integrity of the cells’ health to prevent disease. Coming to this revelation later in his life, Pasteur conceded on his deathbed, “The germs are nothing; cell terrain is everything.” If you read this book, you will come to find out: “What in the cell is going on!”
My mother in law recommended this book and it’s super short, so I read it today. It had some interesting concepts about aiming for a more alkaline body pH betw 7.3-7.45. Very anti-modern medicine and some odd pictures and statements, but makes a good case for eating more greens and less processed foods, which I agree with.
This book argues that oxygen heals. Low oxygen equals low pH and increase of acid wastes. Increase oxygen and the pH rises, making it harder for anaerobic pathogens to exist. It shows how to test pH. It discusses the big five systems that the body uses to maintain its proper pH. The oxygen system is the most important. It recommends measures to increase oxygen: deep breathing, ozone therapy, oxygen drops, hydrogen peroxide, exercise, etc.
Disease comes from inside, not from outside, the body. The internal terrain, at the cellular level, is the focus of health or disease. A sick internal milieu attracts pathogens like garbage attracts rats. Instead of being in the KILL mode, as in orthodox medicine, healing should be in the CLEAN UP mode. The book discusses detoxification measures, from diet to enemas to chelation to saunas to emotional healing. Degenerative disease is a vicious cycle of acidification caused by oxygen blockages at the cellular level. Agreed. All this has plausibility.
But I have reservations. The author advises against distilled water, saying that it has no bioavailable minerals. So what? Neither do spring water or tap water! The minerals in spring water are harmful because they are inorganic. The body cannot digest, assimilate, or use inorganic matter. He says on page 78 that “the body needs living minerals coming from living foods.” Agreed! And you won’t find living minerals in spring water. He says that drinking distilled water “leaches valuable minerals from your body.” I have never seen any evidence of this and I don't believe it. Anyway, there is no need to drink any kind of water if you eat enough raw food from plant sources.
This book is a bit of an oversimplification perhaps, but most of it makes good sense.
I thought that I was familiar with alternative medicine until I landed in Boquete. I didn't think much of allopathic medicine but I never realized how much some revile the work of Louis Pasteur, even though I knew about the myths and problems of pasteurization. This book seems to be solid and grounded, not some wild left-field theories. I found it extremely informative and plan on doing more research in this area. This book is certainly an eye-opening introduction to pH and disease.
